I defintely need to dine in next time I try Pierogi One as everything was kinda just mush when I ate it. The fries defintely weren't cooked long enough and I did order my pierogis pan fried but they were super soft I don't know if thats right. I got the cheese and potato one the flavor is good it was just not what I expected. I was expecting a little crispy edge when I bit in it but sadly disappointing. I'd come back and dine in next time because I did enjoy the flavor.

It's easy to see why Pierogi One garners such high points with customers. Great service and delicious food is a winning combo. We got in less than an hour from closing time, yet the waiter seated us with no problem. Their specialty, needless to say, is pierogi, in a whole lot of varieties. Savory, sweet, vegetarian, with different type of meat, you'll find something you like. Can't decide? Get a combo to try a little of everything. We tried the veg combo and my favorite is the mushroom. The spinach could be moister or creamier. We also love the schnitzel. After we ordered, we could soon hear the pounding sound from the kitchen as they make the chop thinner. It's crispy and flavorful, and the german salad it comes with is authentic, with pickles and dill in it. There are a variety of Polish beer to try as well.

Great pierogies just like my Grandmother used to make them. Highly recommend. I got the potato and cheese, which were great and the spicy beef. Spice was perfect. Highly recommend absolutely loved it and also great service.

Casual spot. Order at the counter and they bring you everything you need. Wait was adequate, I was a bit hungry so it felt longer than it was (but I'd say decent wait time). What really impressed me was the quality of pierogi. The dough was immaculate. The filling fresh and quality. Yes these might be expensive dumplings, but with the variety of flavors and quality, I'd say worth it. I'd definitely recommend and return.

First time dining here and we'll be back. As someone of Polish descent, I appreciated the authenticity of the menu and the quality overall. The dining room is cozy and Vladimir provided great service. Had the kielbasa and pierogi platter with some cabbage and of course potato pancakes - paired with a Polish beer and it was enjoyable and satisfying without breaking the bank. Definitely recommended.

If you're at the Frost museum and you need to get a bite to eat, but there's like a herd of kids from a charter bus that unloaded a bunch of summer camps at the doorstep of the museum, pop over to here (6 min walk) and they will take care of you! Have some Polish pierogi, type of dumpling that's oh so tasty. I got the six piece with a side and a drink and I was full. If you're on the hungry side of 30 though you might get the 12 piece. There is a wide selection of pierogis to choose from. Bon appétit!

Me pedí el continental Gourmet breakfast, impresionante ! Muy bien servido y lleno de sabores. El servicio excelente de andre y Samu. Voy a volver a cenar absolutamente !!

The absolute BEST zurek soup, actually ANY soup ever! The pierogies are amazing as was the service. I can't recommend them enough.

This was an impromptu top at this place after I used Google maps to look for local eateries whilst in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Polish restaurant. I am always up for trying new food and experiences so this is why I came. Are you still living Munich Germany and had been to Poland a few times. It had been a while since I'd had Polish food so I came in and tried some German potato salad which didn't disappoint. It was exactly as it used to be in Bavaria. It also was the first time for me trying Pegoni. After advice from the friendly assistant I decided to have what he said was very traditional pegoni which had a filling of potato and cheese. All the food was very pleasant I recommend.

Delicious. We were at the museum and wanted to eat a good lunch. They exceeded our expectations. Maybe they deserve five star, however we only ordered a salad and perogi so hesitate. But it was delicious so will definitely be back

    Potato pancake with mushroom sauce
    Marina S.

Very nice and polite staff, but food might be better. We ordered borsch, pierogi and potato pancakes. The borsch was too sour and with little piece of meat, came with no bread. Portion of pierogi wasn't big enough for my husband. Potato pancake was nice, but there's no option to add salmon if it's not breakfast. And the portion of sour cream was tiny.

Throwback to Germany Circa 2006-2011…read more.. We lived in Germany for 5 years and absolutely loved it, namely Bavaria which imho is the best and prettiest region in the entire country. We spent many vacations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and gained an affinity for fine Bavarian-style German food... Old Heidelberg brought back the nostalgia and unique flavors that Bavaria has to offer. Our hotel attendant recommended the restaurant as it's a less than a 1/2 mile walk from the hotel... We gladly obliged, as the Yelp reviews were great. Glad we did because Old Heidelberg was excellent. The restaurant looks like the classic Bavarian joint, with all the decor, music, and quintessential German-feel... When you walk in you instantly want a German draft beer (and they have a great selection to choose from); recommend starting with the dark lager and ending with the pils. As for the food, it was some of the best Bavarian we've had in the States. Everything was scratch cooking, huge portions (way too much to eat in one setting), friendly/prompt service, and simply outstanding. My only complaint was Old Heidelberg was astonishingly expensive ($130 for dinner w/ tip, 2 people... 4 beers and two entrees)... Aside from the hefty price, this place is worth the stop when in town. Dave Portnoy 7.9

Jackie was our server and she was efficient and friendly. We were served bread and drinks quickly and ordered the potato pancakes to start. They were crispy and hot and served with sour cream and apple sauce. For mains most everyone got a form of schnitzel. They have many variations including chicken, pork, and veal. They can be ordered plain or with a few sauce options. A favorite was the Bavarian with mushroom gravy and cheese. Oh, this is so good! I tried the saurbraten which is sliced eye of the round with a tangy gravy and dumplings. All of the mains come with soup or salad and spaetzle and red cabbage. The soup is incredible and I could easily eat this daily. All of the food was well prepared and delicious and the portions are huge. We all took food home. Old Heidelberg is a very authentic German restaurant that feels like a trip to the Motherland. Very cozy setting and warm staff make this a special treat. The selection of German beers are a bonus!

From flaky treats to hearty breads, everything in the bakery case looked tempting, and the prices for the baked goods themselves were very reasonable. There's also a nice selection of imported German items that are definitely on the pricier side, but that's expected for authentic products brought in from overseas. The pretzel bread was a standout for me -- soft on the inside, perfectly chewy on the outside, and full of that classic Bavarian flavor. They offer plenty of fresh loaves and traditional German pastries, and it's the kind of place where you can easily walk out with more than you planned because everything looks so good. You can eat in, and the space is cozy, but we opted for takeout this time. The counter service was friendly and helpful, even with a steady flow of customers. We came with the family during the first half of the day and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant specializes in Uzbek and Russian cuisine and is located in a beautiful spot by the lake. There is plenty of parking, and one of the highlights is the outdoor terrace overlooking the water. The view is peaceful and makes for a very relaxing meal. I also loved the entrance design. There's a large decorative mirror surrounded by flowers, and the restaurant's logo is reflected in it. It's a thoughtful detail that immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes a great photo spot. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite, and service was fast. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. I ordered a cappuccino, two khachapuri, and accidentally ordered Kharcho soup when I actually meant to order Solyanka. Thankfully, the Kharcho turned out to be delicious, so no regrets! My husband ordered a steak, while the kids were happy with chicken nuggets and fries from the kids' menu. For dessert, I finally got to try the Pavlova that I had seen on their Instagram page, and it did not disappoint. I've also heard that they host live entertainment and performances on weekends, which makes me want to come back and experience the restaurant in the evening. Overall, we left very satisfied and had a lovely family lunch. Thank you, Aida, for welcoming us so warmly. This review is a little overdue, but the visit was memorable and definitely worth sharing.
