I leased a Volt from Pierre in late 2012. The sales experience was okay- the salesperson didn't know anything about the car or GM lease deals at the time, but was polite. Service/maintenance was great, one of the best dealers around. My main problem happened after returning the lease. I dropped off the car free of damage (with a signed form stating as such). A few weeks later, Ally Financial sent me a bill with an excess wear charge for damage to the front bumper. Looking at the inspection photos, it was clear that someone backed into the car with a trailer hitch and left a 2" hole in the front bumper. I immediately called Pierre to work out the issue. I was told their lease guy was on vacation for a week and a half and I pushed back since the Ally bill was due immediately. After being bounced around to different voicemails with no calls back for a couple days, I finally spoke to a manager. He promised to take care of it, but needed to check something out. I was promised a call back a week ago, and haven't been able to get in touch with him since. I am now trying to work something out with Ally and am seriously disappointed in how this dealership handled the situation. read more

I have had an outstanding experience so far with Bill Pierre Chevrolet. In November it became time for me to get a new vehicle. I have had my new truck for just over a month now. I'm a big man and after driving a Hyundai for just over 8 years I decided it was time for a new "man size" vehicle. I decided I would get a new full size pickup truck, needed to be an extended cab with 4x4 a plus. I started looking around and doing my homework. After talking to Ford, Toyota, Dave Smith and another north end Chevy dealer I went to the guys at Bill Pierre. In my research I had stopped by the dealership in their off hours so I could see the trucks they had available on the lot in my own time. I stopped by Bill Pierre Chevy on a Monday afternoon. I sat down and got right to the point with their sales manager that was on duty at the time, Ron. I explained that within 30 days I'd be buying a truck, but it was not going to be today. No problem, within about 15 minutes they gave me a deal that they said was their best deal on the truck I told them I was interested in. The deal would be good for my 30 day time frame. It was a very low pressure experience. I ended up picking the truck up 4 days later. In my research I was able to determine what to expect for best price for the truck I wanted, Bill Pierre nailed it. They also came in almost $2000 below Chuck Olsen who gave me a "best deal" price, UNLESS I was ready to by that day. All in all the guys at Bill Pierre have treated me professionally and with respect. Not once have I felt like they have been steering me wrong or dishonest with me in any way. Like I said it's been about a month now since I got my new truck. The truck is great I am really happy with it. I have been back to the dealership a couple of times and the guys remember me by name. They have been really helpful with some parts I wanted to get for the truck. There was a manual for one of the additions I had them do when I bought the truck that got left out of my delivery package, they got me one promptly. I had a service call to have a bed-liner put in the truck. Very smooth and the job was well done. The service department contact was very professional. I will absolutely see them again the next time I am in the market to buy a car. read more

Disappointing experience. I texted back and forth with a salesman most of the morning about a 2015 Tahoe for sale. I should have known something was "up" when I kept asking for pictures and he kept changing the subject. He did remind me about 5 times that the vehicle was "loaded"! I told him that I would come by around 1. After a 40 minute ferry ride and 30 minute drive we arrived. The first guy I meet is Colby who said, "take it easy on me, I'm new". I told him why I was there and we sat at his desk while he went to look for keys. He came back a few minutes later and said that the vehicle was not there and that the dealership hadn't officially assumed ownership and that it would be about another week before it got there. I took a lot of restraint to not reach across the desk and strangle Colby. In his defense though, it was not his fault. In typical salesman fashion he did try to rebound and offer to sell me a 2016 Tahoe that was $25,000 more than I wanted to spend. Obviously we decided to leave and go elsewhere. My fiancée and I were really interested in test driving a Chevrolet Spark after much online research. We have been a big fan of the micro cars we have been seeing roll on to the market lately. The Spark reviewed well and looked just like what we were wanting for our very own. I liked that we were able to set up a test drive through their website. A representative called us to confirm they had the car we wanted and pulled it up front. We were able to look at 3 different models of the Spark. We test drove two of these. The gentlemen we worked with, Austin, was really friendly. He cracked jokes and chatted with us as if we were old friends. I liked how open and low pressure he was. He did a good job balancing his sales push and our right to choose. He also did not make fun of my obsessive runs to check on our puppy in the car. They even let me to bring her inside after I ran back out for the 4th or 5th time. We were able to quickly settle on an acceptable offer for the car. We were able to take the car home at the price my fiancée and I agreed we were comfortable with before going to the dealership. We rolled out of there pretty late, but did not mind. They helped us clear out our trade in and load things in to the new car. Overall I am really happy with the service we received. These guys totally tried to pull a bait-and-switch on me. Over the phone I arranged a deal with one of their salesmen on a Chevy Volt. I talked to the salesman around 1pm and he begged me to come in after work to close the deal. I reluctantly agreed, but I specifically told the guy on the phone that I didn't want to waste my time if the dealership wouldn't honor the deal when I came in. He promised... When I got there, the salesman I had been talking to on the phone was not there. Another salesman told me that something had come up and he had to leave. The new salesman was unwilling to honor the deal I had worked out over the phone, and made an offer to me that was about 25% higher than what we had discussed on the phone. I left. Classic bait-and-switch. In my opinion, very dishonest. I would defintely go somewhere else, even if it means driving further. As a side note, there was this couple sitting behind us when we were waiting for the substitute dealer to make us an offer. We sat there and listened to another dealer unload a huge pile of BS on that couple. Seems to me like dishonesty is the standard at this dealership. read more

I had terrible experience for several reasons : - They didn't actually have the car in-stock as promised on the phone. - The car salesman was unenthusiastic and not knowledgable at all. - The sales manager was very aggressive in pushing the deal. He refused to accept that the MSRP he was quoting was much above the average. Despite my having excellent credit, he was offering a sky high interest rate on the finance and making it sound like a great deal. Don't they know that people have much better knowledge about a fair price in the internet age? There are enough dealerships in Seattle area where I can take my business instead. read more

The sales guy I worked with was very nice, but the sales manager (Jose) is clearly in the wrong business as he has zero regard for customer service or even trying to make things right when a ball was dropped. I needed an aftermarket key fob programmed because I no longer have the factory head unit in my Impala (which means a trip to a dealership's service center.) The aftermarket key fob did not program, which I understand is common. I needed to buy one from the service center which was much more expensive, but they would program it for free. All in all, that is reasonable. The problem started when after the first day after I left. My existing key fob no longer worked at all (when it was only one button not working when I got there.) A couple days later, my key fob arrives and I go back to complete the job. The new fob paired immediately, but it did not work just like the previous fob. They traced the issue to my battery, but I was very skeptical. The electrical system doesn't have the juice to lock and unlock the doors, but it can run the starting motor long enough to reliably turn the engine over? Bull. Pure bull. The battery had last been replaced long enough ago that it would be routine maintenance at this point, so I humored them and had them change it since I wouldn't need to worry about it for a long time. This has not resolved the issue. The more widespread problem (as well as the fact that taking my car to this dealership's service center caused the issue without any part swapping) indicates that this is most likely a fault of the first attempt at solving my problem. I have never had a good experience at a Chevy dealer's service center and my car always comes out worse than when it goes in. This was no exception. Avoid the service center at all costs. I'm sure they meant well, but the amount of money that went in to this with a lack of result is unacceptable. I hope my usual garage can figure this out because Bill Pierre Chevrolet either has a service center that is outright incompetent or is deliberately accelerating the failure of the components you ask them to work on. read more

I will continue giving 4-stars almost 2 years later. Why? I can call on Friday and have an appointment scheduled for Today for an under $45 tire rotation, inspection and oil change. I show up, and I'm located in their system immediately. I get offered a complementary car wash after my car gets serviced. The waiting room still features a big screen TV with unlimited Direct TV channels, plush seats and bottomless coffee or tea. They finish working at the estimated duration of the appointment, and promptly return my keys and review inspection findings, indicating if I'll need to replace any parts anytime soon. Oh, and they leave my car parked in a convenient location so I can exit without maneuvering too much around the lot. There's absolutely nothing I can complain about after recent service. read more

I had an amazing experience shopping at this car place. I didn't go in expecting that though. You know how car places are supposed to be...ZERO expectation!! Not this place. I met a great salesman named Michael that was eager and friendly. I was a bit nervous because I had never purchased a new truck/car and was a bit hesitant. Michael was patient, nice and warm. He explained the process real well to me and recommended a test drive. I was not sure of what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the no pressure way I was sold. I had educated myself pretty good about what I was expecting to pay for a new truck and was actually pretty surprised how willing Bill Pierre Chevy was to get me to my goal. They had some killer lease rates on new trucks too. I ended up buying a great new Silverado 4X4 in the color I wanted (they found one at another store and quickly had it brought to their dealership) at a price I liked!! BIG KUDOS to this store. Worst dealership ever! We purchased a suburban at the beginning of the month and were told we would be contacted about having the holes in the seats fixed. We have yet to hear from someone even after taking to their service department and sending the pictures of the seats per their request! Our salesman Matt was friendly as well as the finance guy, otherwise the entire process was horrible and we should have just walked away but stayed and made a deal. idiotically went there tonight to try to find a car within my super small price range. I don't know what I was thinking going to a big box dealership and expecting a car payment for less than $200. I worked with Bobby, who picked me up and drove me home since I don't have a vehicle. He was very friendly.. sales pitch was a bit pushy, but if you go to ANY car dealership expecting a lot less, you're nuts. it's a business, they wanna make money. I didn't leave with a car, although Bobby tried really hard to get me into a nice car that I test drove.. it was just a little out of my price range. My responsibility, not theirs. Scary service: 03 Tahoe Thinking that a Chevrolet dealer service dept was the one to fix the clunking in my steering (typical of GM's SUVs ) I had them replace a part to correct the problem. I asked to check out the brakes etc as well and call me before any work was done. So service calls and states the front roters and pad need replacing for $650 and the rears same thing but I might wait a month or two. Also wipers needed replacing. I said I'd would get another opinion and took it to Affordable Brake and Tire on Roosevelt. Summation: B Pierre was right on the front brakes but Affordable would do it for $450 I'd replace wiper blades about 2 months ago so....that in itself set off a few alarms. The rear brakes were fine with 60% remaining and likely would not need replacing ...ever. Nice enough folks at B Pierre Chevrolet but the litany of items suggested for repair and big numbers for costs of each absolutely sent me running. Just plain dishonest. Caveat Emptor Amigos. While I greatly appreciate the gesture, we will still not be patronizing this dealership.*** My family and I were looking at a vehicle that didn't meet our needs. We were simply talking about the desire to have something else when one of the sales managers interjected and begun typical sleazy car salesman tactics. He started lying to us in order to convince us that what we really want isn't what we actually want or need. I told my spouse I wanted to leave and apologized to the salesman for losing a sale due to the sales managers behavior. My husband let them know I hate car salesmen because of this. The sales manager left and came back out and said we hate rude customers. My husband called him out for speaking to a customer that way and ended up getting in my husbands face, pointing his finger in my husbands chest while he was holding our 9 month old. I lost it and told him to "F" off and that his behaviors are out of line. I spoke with the GM, who essentially supported his salesman's unacceptable behavior. I have been to several great dealerships where the salesmen weren't pushy, didn't lie, and treated us with respect; regardless of us wanting to buy a car from their dealership. They actually found the car I wanted before I got there (and I'm a car salesman, we don't usually do this kind of thing), and once I arrived we test-drove, figured out the math, sat down with Stuart in finance, and I was driving away soon afterward. These folks are not careful with your personal information. IN May I test drove a car from this dealership. In July, I got a toll bill from when apparently an employee use my information to rent a car an proceed to use a bunch of toll lanes in the area. I finally figured out what happened. No apology from the dealership but they did pay most of the toll (Why not all?). This sort of lapse in security is not acceptable or amusing. I came into Bill Pierre this weekend looking for a car with my family after being in a nasty accident about two weeks ago. My car (a Sebring convertible) was totaled from the incident and the experience didn't leave me with much hope to find something new. However, thanks to our awesome sales consultant, Kelly McNeal my outlook quickly changed. I wasn't sure what type of vehicle I was searching for, but I had good experiences driving my parents' Ford Escape last winter while working at a ski resort. Above all, safety was my top priority. Almost anything seemed better than that awful convertible. We looked at several models including fiesta, focus, and fusion, but after test driving the escape I knew I was in love. After negotiating prices, we were able to sign a two year lease at a really reasonable rate. I can't tell you how happy I was from my experience with Kelly. Although it took some time to determine an affordable plan, he stuck by me the entire time. I was pretty flexible with whichever model (though I loved the escape the most) and I sensed Kelly picked up on that. I really appreciate his kindness, honesty, and commitment. He really made me feel important and gave me back my sense of security. I'm so overjoyed at the investment I have made and grateful to Kelly and the BP staff for their patience and perseverance. This place is truly wonderful. Their hard efforts will definitely not go unnoticed because they care about your wants and needs. Thanks to Kelly I no longer feel intimidated driving in the city. Through and through he made sure my input was acknowledged and that I didn't leave feeling like I settled for less than I wanted. Thank you again Kelly for bringing light back into my life. Bought a used 2014 Honda CR-V from them. While the manager, Jose did replace the windshield wipers which were broken, I feel they were not honest about the condition of the car. At 27k miles, it needed a new battery, had a broken actuator and needed all new brake pads. I'm a single mom of a 1 year old. I trusted Jose when he said he was a family guy and wouldn't sell me a car that had issues. I've already spent $1,066 repairing the car I purchased in the end of September of this year. I should've been more careful trusting them. read more

My rating is on the car i was sold: I was really happy with my car when I first bought it, my sales person was great and made buying the car unstressfull and enjoyable. With that said I found the car online went in to look at it and loved it, I told them I'm a mom and need a reliable car and was told the car had NOTHING wrong with it. About 2 weeks later my brakes started making weird noises and my steering wheel started shaking, mind you I didn't drive the car the first week I had it!! It seems to be getting worse everyday and I'm not happy about it!! I paid for the car in full because I was told there was NOTHING wrong with it. I am taking my car in today to get a free estimate somewhere other then the dealership and then go from there. Im hoping it's not something serious!! AMENDED REVIEW On November 6, 2018, I wrote a review regarding my interactions with this dealership. I specifically named the sales representative (Raven) in my review. After reading over that review multiple times and discussing it with Raven, I've come to the conclusion that my review should have been worded differently. To set the record clear, I did find Raven to be very professional, responsive, and very friendly. The intent of my review was to advise other potential customers of the business practices of this dealership....specifically, vehicle price mark-ups, and their seemingly unwillingness to be more competitive with the costs of their cars. I still stand behind my statements about those issues because they're true and factual; however, I guess as consumers we have to realize that the employees have to work within the business model that each dealership has for it's customers. I will say this about my sales rep, she's passionate about her job, and as takes pride in how she represents herself and her employer. Bill Pierre Chevrolet is lucky to have her. Wow, these guys are great! They totally fixed multiple problems with my car when other auto shops couldn't figure it out. Also, for some of the work they only charged me for parts and not labor. When that part didn't solve my problem they took my car back and did a lot of work on it completely free to rectify the situation. AND they washed my car on the outside and inside (my car was gross too)! They really built up my trust and I will never go anywhere else for repairs. Just out of principle and respect for how they do business, when I want a new car or any repairs, I'm going here first. read more

Erica is just the kindest most honest finance manager I have ever met. She worked very hard to get me financing after I had challenged credit. She did not give up and worked herself to death to help me out. She was able to get me financed for a 2020 Malibu with a very poor credit report. She was patient when I was not as I have had many scares when buying cars. She even had the financing paperwork delivered to my house with the car on Christmas so that my 16 year old daughter could see her shiny new car with a bow on it in the driveway. The guys in the service department are all extremely nice and helpful! You have to pay more because they are a dealership, but they do a good job and usually have all the services done same day! Have never purchased a vehicle from them, so I cannot comment on that portion, but if you're looking for a one stop shop to get services done, this is the place!! read more

Tried to hide $450 of options into paperwork. Brought the car back from detail broken. Wouldn't provide spare key or cargo cover. Sales manager José was strangely personal about the need to put food on his table and feed his children with the sale and was immediate to throw his team under the bus when called out for disingenuous action.
