I would like to file a complaint against the store Bill Pierre Chevrolet at 98125 in WA. I have always taken my car to a Chevy dealer since my purchased of a 2007 Tahoe. I actually purchased the 07 on 3/406. I only have 26,922 miles on my Tahoe. I took my car in on 2/28 for an oil change. I was called that evening saying the oil change could not be completed because the last one to change the oil did not put the correct plug back on the oil pan. BPC stated they tried to push it in, but the last mechanic had drilled it out and now it was striped. I told them to look up my records and they would see I had only taken my Tahoe to a Chevy dealer. They did not look up my records, but stated that a Chevy dealer would never had done something like that without noting that he did and the owner had approved it. He then went on to say they had no record of that happening. I asked him if a mechanic did that, lose the plug, did he really think he would tell anyone if it was going to cost the company or the owner so much money? Wouldn't he lose his job? I also asked him if this had ever happened, if anyone had said they lost it. He said no, they were better than that. Since my car was taken apart and would not run, I felt I had no choice but to ok the new oil pan at $395.00. I asked them to save the plug and oil pan. I brought the Tahoe and oil pan home. They had lost the plug. I am not sure which happened, if they lost the oil plug at the latter place, so they needed a new 'kit', or if they lost the plug at the first place, so they took another and shoved it into place, so that I would have to purchase a new oil pan at the next oil change. I have had an extremely negative experience with Bill Pierre Chevy and would like this never to happen to another person. On 6/25/2013 I purchased two new vehicles from Bill Pierre Chevrolet located at 11323 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98125. I purchased a 2014 Chevy Impala and 2013 Chevy Traverse. I spent over $70,000 on new cars. Since this purchase, I have brought a number of issues to the dealer however there has been no resolution. Below was promised in our negotiations but has not been fulfilled: * Financing with the monthly payments under $800 per month for a total of 84 months * Upgraded rims on the 2014 Impala * GPS and Navigation on the 2014 Impala * Quality DVD system installed on the 2013 Traverse ($1,500) When I went in to test-drive a new car on 6-17-2013. Salesman Keith Battle asked. The first day I test drove the 2014 Impala I made it very clear to Keith Battle that I would not be financing a car for over 84 months. After test-driving the 2014 Impala 2LT and taking a few days to go over my finances, I returned to Bill Pierre Chevrolet to make an offer. I arrived at 8:00pm to make an offer and discuss a few additional options I would like to add to the vehicles. There were a couple of options that I wanted to add to both cars as part of the deal, and I expected it would not be a big deal as I was purchasing two new cars on the same day. I discussed with Keith and the other gentleman (Tom, the General Manager) that I would like the upgraded rims on the 2014 impala (20inch LTZ model) and then a drop down DVD screen with audio that would be hooked up to the car stereo. They said they could work the DVD into the financing and it would cost $1500 and Keith told me specifically that they would put the rims on if I purchased both cars. My offer for both cars was $800 a month or less for 84 months for both vehicles. After about 3 hours of going back and forth and them adding rebates Tom finally said we have a deal with the rims and the DVD. I asked both Tom and Keith before I shook their hand if they were sure the 2014 Impala had navigation and GPS, and they both said "yes". When I got back there is a lot of paperwork I began to do with Jared Stockdale. Jared kept telling me this is the latest he has worked. The only piece of paper that was explained to me was the lemon release form. Other then that Jared was rushing through all the paperwork. He said that this would be the fastest he had ever done paperwork on two cars. The next day when I came in to resign the paperwork Jared said that it was all the same and I got a great deal and we rushed through the paperwork again possibly faster then the night of the purchase. I dropped off the 2013 Traverse so they could install the DVD for the children, and when I picked it up it seemed fine. A couple days later the headphones were barely working. The DVD system could not be hooked up to the car audio so basically the system was worthless. I called Car Toys where they said the DVD player had been installed and gave them the model # they said it was a $200 installed DVD player and they didn't have any on display (Car Toys in Tacoma WA). I went into Car Toys in Seattle to look and see what they were selling and the most expensive DVD was around $900 with installation included. So I began to feel even more ripped off and like I was lied to. I texted Keith (I have all the texts about the deal and the finance months, the rims, and DVD) and told him in a very nice and reasonable way what was going on, I thought maybe it was just a mix up or an misunderstanding. Keith wouldn't tell me what Cars Toys or any information. I reminded Keith that the GM of Bill Pierre said the system was $1500 and there is no reason for me to expect anything less them that. When I drove the 2014 Impala I realized the navigation didn't work. I called GM and on star and they said the vehicle did not come with GPS or navigation. I was a little frustrated that Keith and the GM told me it had navigation. The sales team at the dealership scammed and ripped me off for over $7000 and is doing nothing about it. They changed everything about the deal with not talking to me at all. Since I have purchased these cars from the dealership I had received calls from Matt and Luk both of these managers have told me that they did not want me as a customer and that they want their vehicles back. Shopping for a car can be an exhausting and uncomfortable experience. We are happy to report that we found a great dealer at Pierre Chevrolet. We were shopping for a Chevy Equinox and had gone to a few dealerships. I called Bill Pierre and asked about a car that I saw online. They matched the price I had gotten from another dealership and they beat it by a few dollars. They HONORED the price when we came in. Matt Goldstein, our sales consultant Nate Pitocco, Stuart Turck in finance, even Andy Galvins the fleet manager, worked as a team to help us understand the car, our choices of lease or buy, with patience and professionalism. Nate took the time to give us more than one lesson to learn how to work the car and the nav system. We are very happy with our car- but more importantly, we'd recommend this dealership for no pressure, good deals and pleasant folks. It says a lot when you can enjoy the car buying experience! i get that car salesman are liars and manipulators. i get that they see you as stupid and just want to make a sale. but i had never truly felt this until calling this place. i called them a couple days ago about a car advertised on craigslist with no pic or price. i was instantly distracted with questions and was not given information on the car i called about. he said he could not give me the price over the phone(?) yet told me all about a different car and told me the price of that car and told me all about how it had the same features (which after pulling up on their site, i saw it did not have the main thing i was looking for!). then, today, i see the listing pop up again, this time with a price and photos. i call again and talk to a different person who pull the same shit. the car IS BAIT. it does not exist. this time i was told it was sold but i could still come look at it and another car that is similar....the person tells me i could still buy the car that has a deposit by someone else (?) and then talks for awhile about the car...when i confirm that we are talking about the car i called about, he says "no, that one is pending, we are talking about the (car i DID NOT call about)". can you say MIND GAMES? um, yeah, thanks. i've dated plenty of assholes to know what being mind-fucked feels like.....and it feels like this. I came in the other day to look at a 2011 Kia Optima sx fully loaded. I thought it was a sweet deal. Upon arriving I noticed there was a huge dent in the side of the car and one of the tail lights was sticking out. They didn't disclose this information on their website and I was really skeptical of it. We ended up looking at a couple of other cars instead after that. I saw 2 beautiful Lexus is250's that were a little out of my price range, but the salesman showed them to me and was really adamant about the "sticker price being negotiable." So we went and sat down with him after a couple of hours of looking to draw up some numbers. At this point I was really excited. They're also very adamant about their guaranteed approval and financing. I knew my credit score wasn't amazing going in there, not horrible, but after hours spent sitting there with the sales manager and salesman they weren't able to get me approved for anything. To top it all off, they offered me basically nothing for my trade in, a 2003 Honda Accord, (way lower than kbb.) They made me feel as if I was going to walk away with a car, but they couldn't make that happen. The manager even spoke to us and basically told us that I will never be able to get a car of any kind under my circumstances. I think Pierre Chevrolet should really rethink their advertising. It is untrue and unrealistic. I walked out of there empty handed and disheartened from the whole experience. Which actually worked out well for me, because the very next day I went to Lexus of Bellevue and walked out of there with my dream car. We purchased a 2011 Suburban about 8 months ago. The sales process wasn't the best and kinda cheesy. It wasn't my first car rodeo and i'm in sales, so it was pretty easy for me to get to their level and negotiate a good deal. Obviously they make more money on used cars vs. new so it was easy to get all the pricing info. via. internet research. Having said that, the AC fan was making some noise so I brought it in yesterday to have it checked. I dealt with Danielle Ross in the Service Department and I have to say it was one of the best customer service experiences I've had ever. She was unreal from the first contact until she handed me the keys and I drove away. My bill was only $21 bucks for rotating the tires, but regardless of the minimal cost, she went above and beyond the call of duty!! She even buffed out some paint we had on the front bumper from clipping the side of our garage door opening. I've had mercedes, BMWs and have dealt with other 'so called' high end dealerships, and she blew them out of the water. If you need to deal with their service department, make sure you request her. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Saw a car on the website, called them, asked if the car was certified pre-owned. After the salesman on the phone checked with his manager he called me back and said it is not gm certified but what they include is a bill Pierre power train warranty. My husband called down and checked on the warranty (which we now know is substandard), and he was under the impression the warranty was included in the purchase price of the vehicle as well. Ok it's not bumper to bumper but it's a lifetime power train, better than nothing. So we drive all the way down there from Sultan, test drive the car and sit down to talk to them about it. Now the manager comes out and tells us oh no that warranty is not included and it will be an extra $700. So, we tell them that's not what we were told on the phone and if it was we would not have driven all the way down here. We asked to talk to the manager that we had the phone conversation with, he comes over and very rudely tells us that he never said this warranty was included what he said was that they offer a warranty. So I ask him, do you not understand how wording it that way you have made it sound like it is included. Again, VERY rudely he says to me "so you just assumed that the warranty was free" When you go to a place of business ready to spend $20,000 or more you would think they would be more respectful to you. At no point did any of the 3 people we were talking to ever apologize for the miscommunication. We could easily afford the additional $700 but the feeling we got after being bait and switched, and then treated like we were idiots for "assuming" a pre owned Chevy less than a year old with 8k miles would have a warranty as stated on the phone left a bad taste in our mouth. Go elsewhere if you don't want buyers remorse. Btw this is the second time we have left their lot angry without doing a deal due to being misled or lied to. I usually hate going to car dealerships because I always feel like car salesmen are to overbearing. But I was in the market for a used truck and on my way home from work I noticed a '02 Silverado on the lot. Being weary of pushy salesmen I decided to take a look at the truck always. After a few minutes a salesman came up to me and we started talking about the truck. Mike was extremely helpful and when I had a question about the rolltop cover on the bed, instead of giving me a bullshit answer, he went and got the sales manager(Matt) who was able to answer my question. I felt no pressure what so ever from either of them and they were both friendly and very professional. I bought the truck for a price better then what I found on Craigslist. It only took about half an hour to do all the financing paper and they got me a killer interest rate (3.9%) Needless to say I will definitely be a return customer in the future! read more

They bring out a base model and tell me to drive that and then we can talk. Well strike one. Then they send me out in this fully loaded that has more then I want and they tell me 44,000 plus tax and all that shit. I told the sales manager that it was out of our budget and he goes on and on that it is only 4,000 more then the minivan we are thinking about. Strike two. No asshole its 8,000 more. I thought after this I would call the sales-man and tell him that I just can't buy from them because of the sales manager and he puts the asshole on the phone with me and tells me to go to Toyota. Once they've got you out the door with the car they won't follow up with you at all on commitments they made at could absolutely care less about you as a customer. Also be careful about the warranties they try to sell you here. Sales rep told me the warranty he sold me would cover all routine repairs for 50,000 miles as long as I "maintained the car". He described this as regular oil changes - didn't tell me I'd have to get a $1500 repair in less than 2000 miles to keep my warranty. Would never buy from here again. read more

I was looking to purchase a Chevy Volt. I started looking for a Volt at Burien Chevrolet. Burien Chevrolet didn't have the color of vehicle I wanted and all the options I was looking for in the car. Burien didn't do a poor job, they just didn't do an excellent job like what I received from Salesman Galen McKay,Sales Manager Matt Goldstein, Finance Manager Stuart Turck and Matt Davis in service at Bill Pierre Chevrolet. Galen presented me with the color of car and the options that I wanted. I didn't like the rims on the car, but Galen and Matt jumped in and got me the rims that I wanted for my Volt. I had a few door dings and some bumper scratches that they agreed to fix as part of the sale. I was in and out of Bill Pierre Chevrolet with my new car in 2 hours. Stuart did a great job at getting the financing completed. He found me a better rate than I was getting and he truly was looking out for me as a customer. When I brought my car back to Matt in Service, he blew me away at getting the car fixed up and looking like new again. I can't say enough about Bill Pierre Chevrolet and their crew. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had buying a car! These people sell me a car doused in some air freshener (I should have realized it was masking an odor). I get the car home and #1 the breaks immediately start making a screeching noise #2 the odometer and mpg is way off #3 the car reeks of cigarette smoke. I bring it back immediately and they say they will fix the car. I get it back in the exact condition I left it in - break noise completely untouched. I bring it back again... they claim to have fixed the odor and break issue... they call my husband to pick it up. He goes immediately after work and their service department is closed and no one in sales will give him the car. So he takes off work at his lunch hour the next day to pick it up (30 min away), drives it back to work and someone comes running after him when he arrives at work with one of his hubcaps in his hand. WTF?!! Are they trying to kill us and everyone else on the road?? So now we're missing a hubcap and a second one is sitting in the trunk. I'm beyond frustrated with this car and this company. He told me that he will find the car and will give me a call back in 20 minutes; he also gave me his cell phone to make sure I can get a hold of him anytime I needed. Mike called me back soon after that and told me he found the car with the color we wanted and was ready for us to see him so I made an appointment and came in at 3:45 the same day. When I came to see the car already parked in front of the showroom, but instead of seeing Mike, I met Mitch Edvalds because Mike had to deliver a car to Oregon. I worked with Mitch, took a test drive and asked Mitch to point out every single feature of the car. Mitch took his time and showed me everything I wanted to know before we sat down for negotiation. Before we started I told Mitch that I'm ready to do business with him and asked him to be fair with me. I also told him that no matter how hard he tired I will not buy the car if the price is more then I wanted to pay. And likewise, he will not sell me the car if I do not make a reasonable offer. From there it took less then 30 minutes to get the deal done. While I worked with Mitch, the manager, Mitch Mattson, who is very knowledgeable, worked on my trade in and he paid me exactly what I wanted for the trade in - which was much better than two other dealerships. A month after I bought a car from Bill Pierre, the engine light came on. I had the car checked out at a few other places, and they found the following issues: __________ Replace right radiator (leaking), refill system with coolant and replace coolant cap with update part. Replace clutch (worn) and dual mass flywheel (normally required with clutch), replace crank seal (leaking) and intermediate shaft housing (update part) and install update case bolts. Remove left and right cam covers, replace timing chain guides (worn, cam timing out of normal levels) and repair oil leak (probably oil pressure sender) on right cam cover. Replace spark plugs, tubes and seals (leaking) during cam cover repair. Repair cracked exhaust manifolds during cam cover repair. Replace oil separator with update part and oil fill hose (leaking) during cam cover repair. Replace front engine mount with update part. Carry out service, including fuel filter, alternator belt, air, oil and cabin filters. Replace fuel filler cap with update part. Replace right headlight high beam bulb. Replace mass air flow sensor. Replace right inner cv boot on driveshaft. Repair convertible roof with update parts and check alignment. Clean off rodent debris from top of engine. Vacuum out front cowl and clean out drains. Change brake fluid. Carry out wheel alignment. Our estimate for this preliminary repair is $9800.00 for parts and labor. __________ WOW!!! THAT IS ALMOST MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE CAR!!! WHAT THE F&%#!!! Conclusion - either their mechanics don't have a clue, or management has chosen to sell cars that have a shitload of mechanical issues. So sad. They seemed like nice people. I had a terrible experience. From the sales rep to the finance rep to the manager only cared about the sale, they didnt really care about my situation. They sold me a 2007 Pontiac for 13, 800 which the car is only worth 10,000 on Kelly Blue Book, then on top of that they added a service contract fee for 2,500 which only lasted for 36 months or for 36,000 miles but my contract was for 72 months with monthly payments of 468. The total was 17,200 for a 2007 which is outrageous. After I decided I didnt want the car anymore because I was just screwed over, the finance rep and manager was very rude and disrespectful. Both were yelling on the phone talking very rude to me & when I came into the dealership to return the car the manager was literally yelling at me from his office while walking away. I have never been mistreated in my life from a business. I will never go back there or even recommend any of my family & friends there. They tried scaring me telling me that if I returned the car I would have a REPO on my credit & owe 17, 200. But I was smarter than Bill Pierre Chevrolet & called the Bank that had finance me & told them that I didnt want the car & didnt want them to fund Bill Pierre for the car so they said they wasnt going to finalize my loan & that I wouldnt owe them 17,200 for the car because they hadnt even sent the check to them yet being that I bought the car on friday & returned it on saturday. They havent even received my application yet & when they do its trash. They took advantage of me & really tried to get over on me. I am very glad that I caught this bad deal before it was too late. I guess this was a very huge lesson learn for me. They have the worst customer service skills ever! SO PLEASE DONT GO THERE TO BUY A CAR!!! Theres not HONESTY RESPECT or TRUST!!! read more

We marched through the pouting rain for a good 5-10 minutes before he passed me off to an older salesman who made me feel belittled and pressured. I love Pierre Chevrolet. I recently bought a used 2011 BMW from them, and there was one headlight out. They gave me a great price for the car and for my trade in and promised they would replace the light free of charge. In the coming days I scheduled an appointment to replace my light bulb, in which they discovered another halo light was not working, and some of my fuses were bad. They called a rental call for me and drove my car down to BMW Seattle for them to fix everything up. During the fix up BMW Seattle noticed that my door lock on the passenger side was failing, Pierre Chevrolet paid and fixed that. In the end, they fixed everything that was wrong with me car, paid for the rental car for a week, and in the end it did not cost me a dime. Staff good at showing the car we were looking at: The Volt. However, they wouldn't let us go when we said we needed to look at other hybrid cars. Multiple sales people came and made offers and asked to sign on a hand writte piece of pater. Anywhere from $5000 over MSRP to $8000 below MSRP. In the end, we figured none of it was true. They wanted us to agree to buy the car before leaving when we said we weren't ready as it was only the 2nd car we looked at. When we said that, they said to take the car for a day and come back tomorrow. But it turned out it was a pretense to buy the car for a higher price. Horrible experience. Partly because of this dealership, we bought a hybrid from another car company. With dealers like this, no wonder the Volt isn't selling. They are chasing people away. read more

First Class Experience, I called Mitch Edvald about buying a used vehicle he said he would call me back because he had to check on the price, Mitch got busy so Erick Kelley promptly retuned my call and flat out asked what I was looking for. Erick thought he could work a lease on a NEW 2014 Silverado, a lease was my preference but it seemed to be out of my budget and I thought it was 100% out of the question. I told Erick I can't stand the bait and switch, If you can honor that price I will lease a 2014 tonight. Erick had Mike one of the sales guys pick me up at my house in Newcastle in the new truck and drive me to the dealership. Too my surprise Erick, Mitch and Mike made the deal happen for exactly what they told me on the phone THEY ARE MEN OF THEIR WORD! what a great vehicle buying experience, they have earned my business!. In the one week of not having a truck I had 3 horrible dealership experiences with the classic bait and switch, complete time wasters with slim ball dudes. We purchased a vehicle 2 years ago from pierre money mart with no problems. We were in the market for a secondary vehicle so we went back. I don't know what happen but the "salesmen" or should I say salesperson I dealt with basically tried to use scare tactics and threaten my credit score if I didnt buy right away. This put up a huge red flag and I just want to know where money mart stellar reputation has went. I will never go to this place again or refer anyone. I guess the recession is hurting everyone. I actually specifically created a yelp account just to let people know about my experience at this car dealership- Pierre Chevrolet. I cannot begin to explain what a headache taking my 2012 Chevrolet Captiva to get serviced at this dealership. I have been having issues with my car- it wouldn't start, it was losing oil, and shaking. The first time I took it here, they told me an oil flush, new battery, and putting in an indicator light to let me know when the oil was low would cost $600. This seems like an insane amount of money for those three things. Also I had gotten the battery checked two other times and both times the other places told me just the cord going to the battery was the issue with my car not starting. My car was needing a couple of quarts of oil added every few weeks. It wasn't dripping oil so the only other explanation was that it was burning oil. I paid for replacing the battery and flushing the oil with the PROMISE that by paying for an oil flush they would then record my oil level and prove that it was losing oil and then I could get the power train replaced under warranty which is thought to be the cause of the burning oil. I would need to come back every week for 6 WEEKS straight to check the oil level. I called a dealership back home and they said this was crazy and just one time I would need my oil level being low to prove my car needed fixed by Chevrolet because it was under warranty. I had them call Pierre Chevrolet and they AGREED that just one time of coming in and checking my oil and it being low and then it would prove that was the problem and it would be covered under my Chevrolet warranty and would be fixed. I drove the car for about 6 weeks and then felt my car acting up again. I checked my oil and it was dry- EMPTY. I took it to the dealership and just heard back that they do not have a record of my oil level. They said my oil level was only 3/4 of a quart below full and that it would need to be 1 quart below to justify sending the results to Chevy- again I checked right before and it the stick was DRY. They also said I have to come in at least 2 more times to get the level checked. They also said the indicator light should tell me when it is low which is what at first they wanted to charge me to "install." They also said it had been 3,000 miles since my last visit and that if they did have a record, they couldn't justify my oil level being low because I had driven too far. Previously, I was given NO advise to come back in after any certain mileage. This car dealership knows I am a young woman that does not know enough about cars. They are abusing this fact and STEALING my time and money. Stay away from Pierre Chevrolet. I am taking my business elsewhere and so should you. read more

This is my third time visiting this dealership since I moved to Seattle, and I believe a review is overdue. I've owned my Chevy since 05, and this is my 3rd dealership, and I'm blown away -- never thought I'd say that. Last time I went in, I had a unique situation (which I can't mention here) and they went above and beyond to help me resolve it. Today I went in, and the service tech took great care of me. He was cool and intelligent, and patient with my lack of knowledge -- but really cared about helping me locate my truck's issues I've been having. They were generous on diagnosis charges which is the opposite of my experience with other dealership service dept.'s. They were super helpful at explaining things to me, and Brian, the tech, took a ton of time to show me what was going on under the truck, despite needing to get himself to a personal appointment. Thanks to Alan and Brian, I gotta say I'm impressed. I have a good list from them of what I need to get done to my truck, with no pressure and no BS, and a good idea of how to prioritize the work. This is how a dealership ought to run, and thanks to these gents their shop has my loyalty. read more

Bought a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado LT from these folks in December 2016. First thing I notice when I get it home is the front tires are a different size that the rear. This is not a good thing on a 4x4. Second thing is my "On Star" doesn't work. When I tried to contact them about replacing the tires I got the run around and no resolution. When I called them about the "On Star" they told me to go buy a $130.00 module to make it work. I ended up purchasing the new tires out of my own pocket. Thanks to Jerry Smith Chevrolet in Anacortes, my "On Star" will be fixed soon and also a recall on the 4x4 module which was not taken care of by Bill Pierre. Needless to say I won't be going back to them. Their customer service SUCKS! read more

The salesperson was fine, didn't know much about cars but that was ok because we knew what we wanted. We chose our car, were pre-approved so agreed on a price within about half an hour. And then we sat there FOR FOUR HOURS waiting for the finance guy to do our paperwork. Really?? That's just ridiculous. Would not go back just because of that. read more

This review is for the service department at Bill Pierre Chevrolet. After calling to schedule an appointment to replace a recalled part, I spoke with them twice again on the phone before my appointment to confirm, as I had to drive over an hour to the dealership. After I arrive, drop off my car, walk 15 minutes to a nearby store to wait for service to be completed, I get a call from the service desk informing me that they actually do NOT have all the parts they need for the recall replacement. Needless to say, it was a huge inconvenience. I am leaving two stars instead of one because the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone were both accommodating and courteous. But overall, a disappointing hassle of an experience. read more
