Pizza was great, service was great, was excited to go back since my daughter just moved close to the area. When I got the bill I saw the 3% admin fee, admin fee?? So now I won't be going back, I will not go to any business who charges this bogus fee. If you need the money so badly, just up the price of the pizza $1 and don't tell me. I also run a business, the "admin fee" is already built in to the price of my service. I'm so tired of businesses charging these bogus fees, and I think they label it as an admin fee so that they can charge it whether I'm using my debit card, credit card, or cash (it's illegal to charge a service fee if a customer is using debit or cash, this gets around that). So because of this fee, the tip I left was 3% less than what I'd normally leave. Unfortunate! read more

Wow! This was some of the best pizza I've ever had! The crust was so flavorful and buttery, and their flavor combinations are amazing! I ordered the Thai with chicken instead of shrimp, and the sauce on it was FANTASTIC. My mom and brother are gluten free, and they said their gluten free pizza crust was the best gluten free crust that they had ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend and can't wait to come back! read more

Our first time at Pies and Pints. A coworker recommended we go here. When we first arrived they weren't super busy. About the time we left it was packed. I was afraid the covered patio area was going to be cold but the heaters did a really good job. We started with garlic bread with cheese and Caesar Salads. Both really good. The Caesar dressing had lots of flavor and the pizza sauce with the bread was great. We got a pizza with pepperoni and sausage and an Italian Hero to share. The pizza was great. A bit too much crust to topping ratio but we got some dipping sauce for the extra sauce. The sandwich was alright not great. I think pizza sauce would be a great addition to the sandwich. What a selection of pints! My wife has a short list of types of beers she likes. This place has a lot of choices for her! The pizza is very good as well. We had a large half cheese/ half pepperoni and banana peppers along with a small chicken Gouda pie. We added a Caesar salad too. It was all tasty. Service was great. Our server was spot on all night. He made us feel like we made the right choice on where to eat after a family movie. We sat outside on a day that was in the 20s. I was skeptical, my family said it would be okay. They were correct. The outside area doesn't feel like outside at all in the winter weather. The temporary walls go to the ground and don't let wind in at all. The heaters out there make it feel nice and cozy. 3% ADMIN FEE added to my bill. I spoke with the server to see what the fee is for. It's basically a fee that goes to the house to cover their costs. 7% tax + two 1% taxes + 3% admin "fee" = 12% tax on each bill. As a patron, just increase your prices 3% and nobody will notice. Add a 3% BS admin fee and people are going to be pissed. I like Pies N Pints. I like the staff. I like the pizza. I like the $4 Narangansett pint. This is a bad look. read more

My friend and I each had a small salad and a small pizza special--the supreme. salad was awesome with real greens and variety of toppings. the "house-made" vinegrette tasted like bottled acidic dressing. Great pizza place! I am very familiar with the area so I already knew the parking situation. Limited parking in the front on the street if none there just park in the back or the you'll use the roundabouts to keep driving back and forth and hope your timing works out. Only rough part is if it rains you will have to walk in it. I side seating is good. They have a bar side and a restaurant side. I didn't like sitting so close to the kitchen especially since they weren't busy and there were a lot of empty tables that would've made it more enjoyable. Great place to get pizza! They have unique flavors like Chicken Gouda, which I highly recommend. We got a large pizza and did half Chicken Gouda and half Classic Pie. It is expensive for pizza ($29), but the large size is enough for a family of 4-6. We also tried the char-grilled chicken wings. They were good, but again, kind of expensive ($14) for 8 wings. The creamy Gorgonzola sauce it came with was amazing and complemented the chicken wings well. I recommend putting some of the sauce on your pizza! We went on a Friday night, but even though they were busy, we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. The service was great and our waitress was very nice. The Sriracha Shrimp pie was the show stealer with the garlic aioli dressing drizzled on top. If you are looking for unique pizza's then I would have to recommend Pies and Pints. I went on a Saturday night with a friend and her kids and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive. There was also an extensive drink menu. Both food and drinks provided a detailed explanation of the flavors that allowed us the have a better understanding of our order. Everyone ordered something different so we could try a different flavor. We ordered the Mushroom garlic feta, Sriracha Shrimp and steak and mushroom. I would order each one again. The most surprising was the Sriracha Shrimp! It was the perfect amount of spice and sweetness from the pineapple. I would never have thought to put this combo together, but it was amazing.
