We like it here - but I wish they had more on the menu than pasta/burgers. Something like a meat option with healthy sides. We always avoid going here because the menu is not exactly what we are looking for. They used to have a bowl with meat/veggies/rice or something like that. Brunch Review: we made reservations online for Mother's Day which was so convenient! They can easily accommodate parties of 6 and have indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was very well done and has a cute feel. They have an area where kids can play as well, and was a good family spot. The brunch menu is small but everything sounded so good. I got the Dutch Baby and a toffee nut latte. The drinks and food were very slow to arrive at the table. The food took over 50 mins to come out and we arrived at opening. However once we got our food and drinks everything was delicious. The service overall was not great, and we also had a hard time getting our bill. read more

Met some friends for dinner at Field Brewing and were fairly underwhelmed. They have six beers on their flagship brew list and another eight on a seasonal brew list. They have a scratch kitchen with rotating menus. We tried the 'fried chicken sando' and 'field burger' with sides of french fries and mac & cheese. The chicken sandwich had little to no breading to the point I was wondering if they just forgot to bread it before cooking. The burger wasn't very juicy and was overly pickled. Both buns were dry. Overall, this spot has potential as the space is really cool and the menu items sound appealing, however the execution just wasn't on point when we went. We stopped in here for a beer and a little snack before another event we had to go to. As always, the food was incredible. We got the loaded fries and they were so good. A fun spot for an evening out. Great atmosphere in this modern take on a brew pub with seasonal food offerings to match the rotating beer taps. Our large group was well taken care of by our server who kept up on drink refills despite a very full restaurant. The chicken sandwich was a unique approach and got mixed reviews at the table. I enjoyed mine but another diner said she wouldn't order it again. The burgers were a hit with the GF bread option being two slices of bread rather than a bun. It didn't fall apart so that's a win. Sides were a hit! The loaded fries were tasty. Brussel sprouts a winner and the Mac and cheese a rich and thick version of white cheddar on shells. Parking is a challenge so be prepared for that. Field brewing is a really fun place to visit for the summer! We had amazing wings, fries, a side salad and a burger. They also have this incredible sauce, Parmesan ranch, that was offered with the fries and wings! The service was amazing and personable. The outdoor seating area and indoor area both have cute decor and a fun and casual vibe. The only downside I have to offer was parking just because it wasn't directly outside of the building. However, we didn't see it as a problem because it was still extremely close and there were signs leading you directly to the overflow parking lot. They also offer outdoor games like corn hole! Stopped into Field before an event at Grand Park. What a BEAUTIFUL space this is- Indoor and out! Super clean with modern touches throughout. For such a large space the bar top is small though. Shout out to my server for letting me know they could do an espresso martini when I was chatting with my guest about being on the fence between one of their espresso drinks or a drink. As for the brews, it's a bummer that they had no in house options for sour beers, ciders, fruit beers, shandys, nothin even close. They have Ash & Elm but I wanted to try something of theirs. The food was really well done. My husband had the soup of the day and said it was the best mushroom soup he's ever had. Menu prices are higher than you might expect for a brewery but so worth it for the quality. This is one of our regular places, and one of the first times we've had a poor experience, but it's worth noting, as we brought up what was wrong to our server but there was no effort made to right the issues with our food. Our server checked in with us a total of 2 times. One to take our order and one to deliver food. If she had come back to ask how things were, we would have told her what was wrong with our meals. But unfortunately she never checked in to ask. It was only after she asked if we wanted a bill that I able to let her know our fish sandwich specials were cold and soggy. No apologies, no effort to change anything, just went to get our bill and handed it back to us. I'm not even sure if she communicated that to the kitchen. Nothing was taken off our bill. It was pretty obvious bc of food quality that neither my husband or I were able to finish our meals bc they were simply unappetizing, cold and soggy. But not a single effort to make right a wrong. Surprise visit to Field Brewing when our original destination was closed. It wasn't too busy, and trivia night was on. Wr didn't play, but it was fun to "play along." The space is open and fairly loud. The menu is limited bar style. My husband got a burger and said it was great. He also got fries. I would go back just for them. I got the beet salad and it was delicious. Blue cheese, red and gold beets, greens all lightly dressed. It was a perfect mix. I can't speak to the brew side since I just had water...the menu looks good and they have Dandy Breeze products. They have igloos on the deck. I think that will be a gathering place for us this winter. Fair warning on parking. There are spots around the building, but it wasn't intuitive. We will return. The menu is seasonal, so it will be interesting to watch what come up. read more

Some of our favorite meals over the last year have been at Field Brewing, since the return of its lead culinary ops person. Yes, you can still order wings, fries, and other brewery pub food in a nicely decorated, industrial-chic space; but, you can also try out very thoughtfully composed, delicious dishes highlighting seasonal vegetables and other fantastic ingredients. Recent meals at Field made me remember my first visit there years ago. I savored chimichurri lamb ribs with cucumber yogurt dip and a beer flight at the bar top and was like "well, this is the bomb". But, until this year, I haven't had anything as memorable. During our most recent visit, I ordered the roasted beets appetizer and was blown away by the perfect balance of salt, acid, and different textures. After experiencing many a boring beet and goat cheese salad around Indy (that were more lettuce than beet), Field's version was a delightful mix of roasted beets, dehydrated beet "raisins", lemony horseradish yogurt, mint pesto, pickled shallots, and hazelnuts. It was so perfect that I exclaimed "this is the best thing I've eaten in ages!" and my beet-hating (but otherwise adventurous) partner advised "it didn't taste like dirt!" (which is the highest compliment from him). The vegetable-heavy dishes are must orders (I regret not also selecting the carrot, orange, and barley salad). I also ordered the flat-iron steak with "beer-delaise" sauce, truffle potato mash, and swiss chard; it was fantastic too, almost as good as a similar version we had in late summer with roasted carrots, mojo verde, and garlic yogurt. Field's pastas are now homemade; my partner still raves about a lobster, corn, and truffle pasta special he ordered last summer. He recently chose the feta vodka rigatoni with chicken and also enjoyed that (although nothing will ever top his lobster pasta). I'm a seasoning snob, who carries a little canister of Maldon salt in her purse, because nothing is worse than under-seasoned food; I've never had to pull out the emergency Maldon at Field. We've started gravitating away from beer towards cocktails, and Field offers some unique cocktails choices (if you're looking to break away from your classic manhattans or G & Ts). My root beer Manhattan was not too sweet, and had a pleasant star anise taste to it. We're suckers for anything with bourbon, Chartreuse, or amaro, so it can sometimes be hard to pick a cocktail out at Field (which is a good thing). Other thoughts: - I read a lot of comments about parking, but there are plenty of little nearby lots you can park in on Cherry Street. We've parked in a gravel lot off Vine Alley that is only 200 sq feet away. This is a neat local, non-chain restaurant tucked off of Main St.; it's not going to have mega-parking lot, where you can park 10 ft. away (and for those few very close-by spots, maybe save those for those who actually need them). - Service was good. We came early, during the Field crew's pre-supper huddle. The server kindly advised us that service would be a little delayed, as they finished up the huddle (which was no big deal to us). - Although we drink less beer than we used to, check out Field's creative selection of flavors and styles. A lot of our favorite local breweries have gone out of business over the last 5 years, so it's nice to see Field still representing (huzzah for pickle beer!). read more

Be aware: very little parking we could find. Bar was very busy; hard to get a drink. We enjoyed several of the beers including the black Belgian & I love the Dill pickle sour honestly. The restaurant had a bit of a hipster atmosphere but in a good way. Lots of great farm to table food selections. My husband got the roast beef with brussels sprouts, and could barely finish his which is saying a lot. He finished his leftovers the next day. I ordered a vegan Asian noodle dish which the waitress said they could make less spicy but was way too spicy for me unfortunately. She took it off the bill and gave me something else. If I ate meat, I would've loved to have tried the kimchi turkey burger. My kids enjoyed the game selection although I didn't see a kids menu available. You can rent cool igloos out back online for $40/2 hours. I would definitely recommend for a unique experience. read more

I came to Field Brewing to have brunch with my sons of brunches Meetup group. This was our second choice because Gringinto's changed their hours and was not open on Sunday. I was very impressed and happy with the brunch and the customer service. We sat on the back patio outside, which was very nice given the beautiful weather. I had ordered a rustic matcha latte, but our server, Megan, told me that they ran out of matcha. I asked if they had chai tea or any other hot tea. Megan told me she would look into it with the barista and let me know. A few minutes later, Megan came back with a hot tea for me that was a hibiscus berry tea. It was wonderful and fantastic!! I appreciate the extra mile Megan took to give me my hot tea. I ordered the soft pretzel and the fried chicken sando. The soft pretzel was good and paired well with the spicy mustard and the beer cheese dip. The fried chicken sando was very good. I ordered the brussel sprouts as my side, which were Ok, but the texture was off a bit. The bacon pieces were a very nice touch and addition to the brussel sprouts. If I come back, I will probably not order the brussel sprouts again, and try something else. All in all, my meal was wonderful and the customer service was fantastic! The facility itself is very impressive and gorgeous. The bar area is nice and the bocce ball court in the back is a nice feature. I have had the beer here at Field Brewing and it is decent and tasty depending on what you order. Field Brewing is a great place for brunch or beer, and I'm glad it is a nice hangout in Westfield. Been wanting to try Field Brewing for awhile having driven by several times per week. Finally took the plunge and regret not doing it sooner. The burger and beer were amazing! The burger was cooked to perfection and tasted so fresh. One of the best burgers I've had in awhile. The Brussel sprouts were a great addition although I did have a slight case of remorse after I tasted the thick cut fries my daughter ordered. The staff were great, very attentive and friendly. It wasn't too busy, which I'm sure helped. I also really enjoyed the relaxed, casual vibe. The only downside is the parking. It's extremely limited on the property, but there are signs for additional parking nearby. We got lucky going on a Sunday evening and were able to park in one of the few spots around the building. Hopefully there are plans to expand it with all the other construction going on nearby. read more

We had an unexpected fun time at Field Brewing last night. We expected a bright airy room but we didn't expect the outdoor space where we ate - and that made for a very fun night with a toddler in hand. Outside they had three individual plastic tent domes where we got to sit. They were set up next to an open space with a bocce court with plenty of room to run around . There were other kids and ours had a blast. The food was very good too. Of course we had onion dip with home made chips - doesn't everyone in Indianapolis? It was a very thick dip and very good. One of our group had a flight of beers. I had a tangerine cocktail, but had no idea Mezcal tasted smokey (I don't really drink). The bar tender made up another with tequila which the drinkers in our group said was ok, but not great. The burger was thick and cooked exactly as I asked- medium rare. Crispy bacon, lots of cheese and crunchy fries. All good as expected. The Brassica Caesar was heavy on the parm and dressing, along with brussels sprouts and croutons. It was a bit heavy on the dressing and parm so that was the primary flavor. The side of Brussels sprouts was really good. The Brussels sprouts retained their flavor and were complimented by the maple and bacon sauce. Worth getting if you like brussel sprouts. The bucatini and rigatoni in vodka sauce were made with fresh pasta. The bucatini was basically a very good pasta carbonara and the vodka sauce was a cheesy tomato sauce. Neither sauce was stellar but the home made pasta and good flavored sauce made our pasta eaters happy. Someone in our group had the lime leaf green curry noodles with chicken. Nothing to write home about. We were so full we took our desserts home. The gianduja budino- a hazelnut chocolate pudding was halfway between a pudding and a caramel in texture and flavor, it was good, not great. We ate it all and prob wouldn't order it again. The servers were friendly, accommodating and fun. Over all the experience mixed with the food made it a very worthwhile dining experience. read more

It is also family friendly since they have a full menu. The mediterranean nachos were okay--I probably wouldn't order them again. If I'm rating this solely on food and flavor, I would give this place 5 stars however I'm going with four because service has just been mediocre the last two times I have been here. I'm not sure what the managers name is but I've seen him the few times we've ate here and he just seems frazzled and very unfriendly. Almost like the customers dinning in are an inconvenience for him. Not a good vibe from him. The waitress we had was ok, she was also the bartender, so in her defense she was busy and not able to be as attentive as she should have been. Now onto the food. Let's start with the Brussels sprouts, I believe these are fried so they are crispy but what surprised me was these little devils had maple syrup poured over them and let me tell you they were to die for! Next I had the beet salad the combination of pistachios, feta and goat cheese vinaigrette is perfect! My main course I choose the veggie burger, again full of flavor and so thick I could only eat half of it, but the cilantro yogurt really complimented this burger. We also got two drinks an old fashion, and pink mimosa, while the drinks are a little pricy I can say they are not made with water downed alcohol ! Beautiful Saturday to sit on the covered patio! 4 of us were seated at a slightly longer table than a regular 4-top. We were carrying a baby and car seat so the extra room was appreciated. There was even a water bowl nearby so dogs must be welcome. No complaints on the beer or food - I will advise ask for the fries extra crispy so they aren't limp sticks of grease. This place gets a 5 stars and will probably be my next go-to as a newer resident of the Carmel Westfield area. Sometimes, a loud or vaulted space can be too much stimulation overload, and it can get frustrating when I can't hear the person across from me. Field Brewery has huge windows, high ceilings, and the BEST soundproofing I've ever seen in a restaurant or bar. I mean, they had special foam cutouts under each table that I could tell made a huge difference in noise reduction. The food was absolutely delicious, it's a shame I didn't get photos. Started off with onion dip, pretty good. My partner enjoyed his house cocktail, and I liked the prosecco. Loved the pork sandwich with Brussels and chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese - heavenly. We were sampling each others foods. Our waiter was extremely welcoming and paid attention to us despite it being busy for a Saturday afternoon. We tipped them very well. There are igloo bubbles outside for when it's cold, Bocce ball, area for dogs (there was a puppy there - so cute), and parking is a little lacking but totally worth the short walk. The humidity was brutal and we had come in hoping to grab one of the many open tables. 2 hostesses greeted us at the door, and went back to the kitchen before advising us, they were on a 30 minute wait. Understanding labor shortage along with other variables, we were willing to wait... we asked if we could still be seated at a table w waters and the hostess looked at us, laughed, and responded with unfortunately, no. My daughter had to go to the bathroom so I waited while she went. Then I watched as people entered the establishment and were seated without hesitation.
