It said they were jumbo smoked wings. I did taste a little smoke in the wings, but it also appeared like they flash fried them before serving. The wings I got were not jumbo. In the middle of the afternoon, it was not busy. I'm not a coffee drinker but I like the concept of the brewery and a coffee bar. My in-laws recently moved to the area and received a coupon for a free growler glass with the purchase of a growler. My husband is a home brewer, and both he and my FIL love trying different breweries. This was a perfect way to spend some time on a Saturday afternoon! The brewery and seating area are in a converted warehouse space (or, at least, it has that vibe). There's plenty of seating and lots of room to spread out. We chose a seat near the back away from the bar because we wanted to be able to catch up over our drinks. We were greeted right away by a server who brought us beer lists and let us know they were out of barbecue for the day. That was a bit disappointing because we were looking forward to getting a couple of appetizers, but that's on us for dilly dallying all afternoon. Over the course of our visit, we tried six or seven different beers. The general manager stopped by when he noticed the coupon on the table and welcomed my in-laws to Westfield, which was a nice touch. He made some recommendations of award-winning beers and ones that are popular on the menu. The beer was good, though nothing markedly outstanding. Our favorites were the 1520 Hefeweizen, 8 Over Par Scottish Ale, Westfield Underground ESB, and Squirrel Stampede. I tried the Spare Parts cream ale and while it was good, it wasn't the standout. They also have some guest taps, wines, and canned cocktails in case someone in your group isn't a fan of beer (my MIL falls into this category). They don't offer flights or short pours, and while I'm sure there's some business rationale for that, it was kind of a bummer for three people who really wanted to sample the range of available beers. We took advantage of the Las Tortugas food truck that was outside. Menus were dropped right at our table and we were able to text our order and then pick it up when it was done, making it a good consolation prize for the closed kitchen. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. They have a great outdoor area with plenty of seating and a stage; I'm looking forward to some return visits this summer when the weather is better and we can enjoy beers and live music -- and hopefully get to try the barbecue! read more

Passing though Westfield for the holidays and I just have to say, BEST SERVICE AT THIS BREWERY! we love to try local spots on our travels and this is one of our new favorites. I tried the margarita pizza and my boyfriend got the BBQ flatbread it was so so so good!! A little confused about going up to the bar but as we were waiting for our food the manager Toni came to check on us and let me chat her ear off! She really made our time there memorable, almost like we made a new friend out here! This is a great place with a fun vibe, relaxed atmosphere, great food and great beers & refreshments! Right off the Grand Park Sports Campus on the NW side of Westfield and just south of the Westfield Washington High School campus, Grand Junction can handle groups and lively excursions looking for a fun-time between games or to watch the games or a quiet couple looking for an out of the way place to unwind. There is live music on the stage outside and a party room inside that is great for groups & family celebrations. The on premise food is not a broad selection but nicely done and mainly scratch made. The in-house brews are really good and seasonally-selective. There are also guest taps that feature great contributions from across Indiana. And the mixed drink specials are quality but dangerous! Always eclectic and tasty! This place has saved me multiple times between GP Tourney games when I needed some time out of the sun or wind or cold or just by myself and to check scores, and wagers or to focus on something else. Wait staff is always friendly and the kitchen staff is willing to make what you want, if something modified from the menu is what is needed. Highly recommend! read more

We loved hanging out inside of Grand Junction Brewing Company with our dog. They offer food and a great selection of beers ranging from light to dark. The brewery is large with lots of seating options for small to large groups. The service was great! We both enjoyed a wrap, chips and a flight of beer each. Everything was delicious. Nice place to hang out for some local beer and catch up with friends. It's very family friendly and I saw lots of kids on Wednesday from 7-9 pm for bingo night. There were also several TVs and a large screen that played sports and other shows for entertainment. The free popcorn machine on the side was a nice touch, and you can serve yourself as much as you like. I saw a cute dog there, so I guess dogs are welcome, too. No real food for sale other than small bags of chips for $1 I think. But I saw people who brought in Subway for dinner and another group that had a pizza delivered, so I guess you can bring your own food. read more

We sat at the bar and had to flag the bartender down every time we needed something. I noticed all the other patrons going to her rather than waiting for her to go to them. The patio here is great! So many people ride their bikes to the brewery since it's right off the Monon. We are lazy and drove to the location. They have pretty strict mask and capacity rules. You have to wear your mask at all times unless sitting at your table. If all of their tables are occupied they do not let anyone additional into the space. On weekends they have live music and often have food trucks in the parking lot. They have their own food menu and all of their smoked meats are cooked right there. You can smell the goodness. We ordered some smoked wings and there were delicious. They have a variety of quantities so you can order how ever many you need for your party. I've also had the taco food truck that is there a lot. The chorizo tacos and pinwheels are my go-to items. As for the the drinks their seltzer and cream ale are good options for something lighter since they have a lot of dark beers. Squirrel stampede and the mulligan are fan favorites if you like dark ales. read more

This was my first time at this location for actual drinks. I had usually gone to the downtown location (now closed) because it had more convenient hours for my schedule. But with a little change up in my planning, I was able to swing by early on a Friday afternoon. This place doesn't offer food like the former site. There are some places nearby that you can find a bite to eat, and I saw they had a hog smoker out front, so I assume they occasionally have cookouts too. The parking is a little weird. They have a fence run along the west side of their building, so I don't know if parking is allowed on that side or not. On the brewery side of the fence, there aren't any clear parking spaces defined, so I just parked along the edge of the lot to be out of the way. Inside, the bar is open and spacious with restrooms to the right while the main seating area is to the left of the bar. You can also find video games and dartboards on that side. The bar is centered and has bar seats at the counter but otherwise, there aren't tables there so that there is more access to place orders. I decided to order a flight (all orders are at the counter since there wasn't any wait staff.) Flights here are limited to four instead of five like the downtown location. I decided to build a flight of house beers (they do carry guest taps and ciders as well.) I went with some brews that I don't typically order since I had picked my favorites and like trying different beers to get a broader sense of the house brews and to expand my palate. Of the four, I will say that the Dunkelweiss and the Scottish Ale were the most appealing. The Pilsner (Czeck) was bitter for a beer on the light end of the spectrum. The Porter had a smoky taste that I've only had once before. Normally, I prefer Porters with food to blend the flavors. Alone, I thought the smoky taste just a bit too strong. There wasn't a lot of interaction between the staff and the customers other than simply providing the beers. I felt the place lacked a sense of pride that I find in most craft breweries who love making beer. This place was just kinda sterile. Maybe the enthusiasm picks up later in the evening. Great little West Coast style IPA. Next got the 1530 wheat style and it was a very good beer also. Much like a Hefe. I did not have any food so I'm only going to review on beer alone. We worked with Bryce Gerlitz and were completely blown away by how well he put together our order for our daughters 1st birthday party. He helped us pick out the menu for our event; he picked out the perfect amount of food for our party of 60. Everyone kept saying how delicious, and full flavored the food was. It did not taste like your typical BBQ place. My family is from Texas and can be hard to please when it comes to their BBQ, everyone was extremely impressed. I stopped by here this past Saturday with my wife for some afternoon drinks. We had attended a wedding earlier in the day and were looking for something to pass some downtime in between the wedding and reception whenever I found Grand Junction Brewing Company on Yelp. So we headed on over and found it. It looked like they had a nice outdoor area but on the day we were there it was raining pretty hard and I was more concerned with getting inside not soaked to pay too much attention. The inside is a large warehouse like area with a bar immediately in front which is surrounded by a barricade of sorts. As for the bar itself, the bottom part looked like it was made of reclaimed wood and they had 3 TVs above it. If you didn't want to sit at the bar they had some seating to the left and a loft type area with more seating above it. They also had 4 arcade games including mrs. Pac-Man and 4 pinball machines and 2 dart boards. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I went with a flight here. At Grand Junction Brewery a flight consists of 4 beers of your choice and I think cost $8. For my beers I went with the Burn Em' Coconuts (Wheat Ale), Toe Beans (English Brown), Squirrel Stampede (Brown Ale) and Pennylope (Cream Ale). The first beer that I tried was the Burn Em' Coconuts which started off tasting like an ale before a huge hit of toasted coconut on the finish. Holy crap was this beer good! Both my wife and I absolutely loved it and I could easily see myself enjoying a few on a nice summer evening. Up second was the Toe beans which was a little sweeter with some coffee at the front before finishing with some harshness. Third was Squirrel stampede which started out with some maltiness before finishing with a little bit of smokiness which I enjoyed. Last was the Pennylope and the draft was given from a weird machine where you could see them infusing the grapefruit and rosemary into the cream ale. It tasted more like a Belgium than the cream ale I was expecting and I didn't really like it. So out of the bunch my favorite was easily the Burn Em Coconuts and I also enjoyed the Squirrel Stampede and would probably not order the other two again. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Even though I only really liked 2 of the 4 beers that I picked, the Burn Em Coconuts was the best "unconventional" I have tried in a while. read more

We enjoy this brewery completely. Reminiscent of our brewery back home. The beer tender is AWESOME! The clientele becomes more and more friendly with each visit!
