    Chicken Biscuit

Amazing! Got here at 10:15 and had no issue grabbing a table. The chicken biscuit was suggested, and I'm glad I tried it because it was delicious. The blueberry gin drink on the breakfast menu was also good, very refreshing. Plenty of indoor seating with a few outdoor tables as well. I want to try their pies next time!

Finally got to try it after having it bookmarked for a while. I did pickup this time, and the order came out pretty fast everything was hot and ready. The fried chicken was the highlight for me. Super crispy, well seasoned, and really satisfying. I wasn't the biggest fan of the wing, but the breast was amazing. The sides were a bit mixed for me. The greens were a little dry and didn't have much flavor But the dessert really surprised me in the best way. I've never had anything like it with that crust it was so good I'd come back just for that alone. This is definitely a place I want to return to especially to dine in next time and try more of the menu.

4.5/5 -- any place called pies and thighs is a place I must visit. They have pies, they have fried chicken, they have brunch options, they have an excellent non alcoholic and alcoholic drink menu, they have a happy hour what is not to love. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is cute and the food is tasty. Great, casual, neighborhood spot!

The most amazing bourbon pecan pie and sour cherry pie. Excellent variety of doughnuts. Did not try the chicken but my friends always rave about it.

I've been wanting to come to Pies n Thighs for years and just never got the chance to.Finally on my birthday weekend I was able to go and was so excited at the thought! Lol! It was a beautiful day out and they had two tables set up outside, which I was willing to sit at, but luckily, when we asked how long was the wait was it wasn't long at all because a party just had gotten up so my friends and I got very lucky! The space is a little small, but they do everything in their power to accommodate everybody.Their service was great, our server was very sweet and accommodating, our food came out very quick & everything came out super hot and very fresh. All sauces were on the table already, which is something super important when going to a place specializes in chicken sauces are important the restaurant also had a really good playlist going and the vibes were great! Pies -n- thighs is an essential restaurant if you're in the Williamsburg, area and you love comfort food!!

Pies 'n' Thighs has been on my list forever, and I finally made it. Overall? Good, but not mind-blowing. The fried chicken is solid, crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, but it didn't stand out as "the best fried chicken ever." It's more of a comfort-food classic than a destination plate. The real winner for me was the biscuit. Fluffy, buttery, golden on the outside, honestly, one of the best biscuits I've had in Brooklyn. The cornbread, on the other hand, looked beautiful but was a little too dry for my taste (I wanted that melt-in-your-mouth, moist cornbread moment). Service was great, friendly and attentive, and the vibe is relaxed, the kind of place you'd stop by if you're in the area and craving something hearty. Would I go back? Sure, but probably if I'm nearby and hungry, not making a special trip.

Was on an adventure to a different brunch spot this day but saw the name and had to stop in ! It did not disappoint ! They have great options for vegetarians and the meal was quite filling ! It doesn't look like much but it's really worth it. The service was quick- had to wait for a few for a clean table but they were busy ! Super friendly staff and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. Definitely a local fave I can tell.

Do they have a bar or serve beer, wine, etc?

    They have wine and beer!

Is there a long wait line for brunch? Do they take reservations?

There usually is a wait but you can use the yelp wait list to check and add your name to the list. Maybe call about reservations but I dont think they take them.

Hi! Is this location good for larger groups? Like 15+?

It's not a big place. It can accommodate larger groups in the back however if it's during their peak time it might be difficult

    Do they take reservations?

No they don't. But I've been with a group of 8 and didn't have to wait too long.

Did this place close? No it's closed many people where also outside wondering the same don't no if it was closed for the night or just closed I was there today Tue at 7 pm went to sweet chick and made up for it being closed it was wonderful

Yes it's still open they operate from 9am-4pm and then 5pm-12am . Most brunch restaurants have similar schedules.

Is this place kids friendly 2 kids 10 and 3?

Hi Jose, Absolutely! We love kids of all ages!…

Once you order, they ask for your name and then serve your table by calling your name. It's cute. As for the food... I ordered the fried chicken with potato salad, dressing and cornbread and peach cobbler. My chicken looked good, but tasted a little dry. Maybe it was just being under a light for a bit. I visited in the evening. Who knows? My potato salad was a bit bland, and I was hoping for some pickle relish mixed in. (If you know, you know.) I'm not a fan of cobbler, but I thought I'd give it a shot. They also had apple cobbler, which I should have stuck with. I can't tell you how the cornbread dressing was. When I got home they forgot to pack it. I don't think I'll be back, but it's a nice place to sit and chat with others while they enjoy their meals.

The waitress was super professional and gave us suggestions from the menu items. She suggested the Peaches Punch (rum and positive vibes) and she did not disappoint. Peaches Punch was sweet and citrus. My fam is southern, migrated from North Carolina to Brooklyn, so I am not a stranger to southern food. My mother was a sou cook in a small water front hotel on the intercostal waterway, so I confess I am a chair side critic of collard greens. I do not like collards simmered too sweet. I also like to add vinegar. So we ordered the fried catfish, cornbread, and collard greens. The catfish arrived seasoned and crispy. I added a dash of Texas Petes hot sauce, they seriously offer a variety of hot sauce. Love it. The collard greens were inviting, aromatic, and tender. The smell of the collards reminded me of Sunday dinner after training. Yes, it tasted old school, I greatly appreciated the southern vibe and the great southern hospitality. The main entrées were affordable and the drinks were worth every penny. This is within walking distance from my home. I will definitely return for collard greens. Please make a date to sit out on the sidewalk and order those collards.

During a recent breakfast visit celebrating both my mother's birthday, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I would first like to recognize the young gentleman who served our table . A mexican young man. , He was professional, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The issue arose when I ordered a Peach Bellini that did not taste as expected. It lacked the peach flavor I had enjoyed on previous visits and tasted more like orange juice. I asked if it could be replaced with a ginger ale. My server was handling another table and zi was willing to wait. . But a women of Spanish decent light skin and heavy set approached our table and explained there were policies regarding returning something. . Rather than simply processing the substitution, she repeatedly encouraged me to keep the drink and offered to add more peach flavoring. I explained several times that I simply did not like the beverage and preferred a ginger ale instead.. I also told her I an celebrating a birthday abd do not wish to go back and forth. She tried to explain all drinks are made thd same which is not the same. She has to remember she does not just represent herself but the Peaches establishment. As a former bartender, I understand that drinks can vary, despite efforts at consistency. My concern was not the drink itself but the lengthy discussion. I felt pressured to justify a simple request during what was meant to be a special celebration Our bill exceeded $100, and as a longtime customer, I expected a more customer-focused response. If there is a formal policy regarding drink returns or exchanges, it would be helpful for it to be clearly posted. They eventually substituted it. But I should not have to goI though all that. Overall, my experiences at your restaurant have been very positive, which is why this incident stood out. The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity. Customer concerns are often best resolved through listening, empathy, and flexibility. .

I wanted to love it so much especially since TikTok critic/MMA fighter Keith Lee visited them in 2023, but my experience was not like his. I want to say that online reviews are almost about accurate. They were out of cold salads and collard greens which was an issue for other customers at times as well. No problem, they were super helpful and offered an alternative but not a good one. I had steamed vegetables that mashed in my mouth like mashed potatoes when I took a bite. I did end up going to another spot for collard greens and potato salad because you can't have soul-food without that. I had the rib dinner with mac n cheese and yams and a tiny piece of complimentary cornbread. The ribs definitely taste amazing but they don't take off the membrane in the back which is slimy and gross. I left that part behind. The yams were sweet and good BUT.....that mac n cheese is NOT soul-food Mac n cheese. Here's the thing I figured out, they use such little cheese but season the noodles very well that you don't truly notice unless you love mac n cheese, which I do, so I noticed it lacked so much cheese but had seasoned noodles. The rib dinner was a 3/5 because ribs were great but sides needed help. I had rice and peas as an additional side and fried wings. The wings were ATROCIOUS! I ate the smallest one and didn't eat the rest. How can you serve such huge feathered wings like that? It was a nightmare. The feathers being on it turned me off. This tells me they don't make their food with care, they move quick to be one and done and I want my food cooked with love and care. They were also frozen wings that were thawed and seasoned, I know the difference. The rice and peas were okay 3/5 as well. Overall the food was not worth the hype. I almost don't want to share this review for fear that the line may get longer but this restaurant is now one of the few that I recommend you go out of your way to try and enjoy. Their menu is classically simple but made with an abundance of care and no shortcuts in their cooking. As you are seated you are welcome to place your order in the front of the glass display, they cook everything in house and sometimes they run out of the specials so don't sleep on getting there on time. We ended up getting their lunch specials and picked one main and two sides. I know my girl loves Ox Tails and ended up getting the last plate with some candied yams and Mac and cheese. Let me tell you, we cleaned the plate and it was finger licking good!!! The jerk ribs were amazingly tender and fall off the bone. All of the sides were well portioned and absolutely flawless. The restaurant offers several seating options, including indoor dining, an outdoor patio, and a beautifully landscaped terrace tucked beneath mature trees. We chose the back terrace, and it turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the experience. With two levels and plenty of natural shade, it felt like a peaceful escape from the city while still being full of energy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions about the menu, making it easy to decide what to order.
