What can I say about their delicious food? All there is to say is that you MUST try it. Fries goodness. It's perfections. The fries were thick and crispy and the pulled pork was smothered in gooey cheese and juicy pulled pork. I'm a long time Leadbelly's fan and was sad to see them close. But Pig N Pig definitely is continuing all of my favorite parts of Leadbelly and the service was top notch. And they've got some pretty interesting new stuff like Smoked Fajitas (I'll order that next time). Food: I got the 3 Meat Plate ($23) which has most of the same options (and even secret options) as Leadbelly. My meats were Meatloaf, Brisket, and Pulled Pork. The Meatloaf is delicious, brisket tender, and the Pulled Pork good (used bbq sauce on Pork). My sides were a caesar salad, which was good, and chili which was a bit sweet for me but was full of many tasty ingredients. (Many of the Leadbelly sides were available here too, and there was no upcharges or limiting rules for special sides). The service answered all of our questions and was pleasant. And they were super nice about special requests, and never upcharged for them. Finally, the interior got a nice upgrade with more tables. Overall, it's sad to see something so great go away but Pig N Pig is at least equally good and I'll be back many times. read more

The baked beans were fairly standard beans on the sweeter side, with chunks of bacon, and they were pretty good. The Mac and cheese was subpar, no cheese flavor except a hint of jalapeño. On to the meats. The brisket was extra fatty, and was a bit dry with no hint of a smoke ring, and the taste was just ok. The pork ribs were also dry and fairly small, taste was again just OK. The best part of the meal was the pork belly burnt ends, those were covered in a great sticky bbq sauce and the taste was above average. The dominator fries were ok, but were missing some bbq sauce. I happened to be scrolling through Yelp hungry and I noticed this place. Looked good so we drove straight there. (It's in the shopping center behind the jack in the box next to the Landry mat) And I am so happy we did. From the minute we walked through the door we were welcomed warmly like they knew us. Service was amazing! She was going above and beyond on everything from giving suggestions, checking on us and cleaning tables as she went. Smiling the whole time. Now for the food-first thing is you can smell the deliciousness! I mean I was doing my happy dance just from how amazing it smelled. And they had so many different options of sandwiches, sides and plates. We each opted for sandwiches, I got the brisket sandwich and the Mr went with all the meats sandwich. (And yes, it was loaded with so many meats-even a link!) he ate the whole thing and was so full. My brisket sandwich was loaded with meat, cheese, onions and peppers. They make their own BBQ sauce and there are 2 options-spicy and sweet, I used the sweet and it was superb! We both got Mac and cheese as our sides and they put them in the cutest little bowls with lids to keep it warm. Loaded up with bacon but then when I took a bite to my joyous delight they have chopped green chilis in the mix too. I ate all of it . I was excited to give Pig N Pig a go. I do keep in mind I ordered via Postmates and that is different than going there and eating it hot off the grill. I ordered a 3 meat plate with Pork Belly, Pastrami, and House Sausage. For the sides I ordered the chili and corn bread. With my order placed I wait in eager anticipation. Heck, I even tipped the restaurant the 2$ suggested. Meal arrives, my mouth is watering. Open it up and it didn't transport very well and is all mixed together. Oh well, Postmates does it's best. I pick up a piece of the Pastrami. Dry and hard. I pick up the next slice, yep, you guessed it, Dry and hard. I go for the Pork Belly. About 3/4 of the slice was as hard and dry as jerky, I don't enjoy jerky. I tried the chili. It was okay, just not the style of chili I like but that's no one's fault. I always order chili knowing it might not be the kind I like so no points deducted for that. It was decent. The corn bread, sub par. It had pieces of corn in it which could have been nice but the were hard little nuggets and not enjoyable. The last item I tried was the House Sausage. It was a little over cooked, it wasn't hard but more on the dry side. Not enjoyable. I found most of the food uneatable which was extremely disappointing for the price tag. It seemed as if they might have been close to closing and just threw together whatever was left sitting under a heat lamp. I took a couple of pictures so you could see the dark and discolored meat which is the hard and dried out sections. I also took a picture of all the food I could not eat. This was not a case of Postmates delivery aiding in food being not the best but okay/acceptable. This was about whoever put the order together didn't care about quality of the food being sold and brand reputation. If the owner reads this I would check on what your employees are sending out when you aren't looking. And if the owner sent this out, shame on you. Either way I would imagine this place has good food over all. And even though this experience should be enough to never go back, I would give them another try. I just feel burned spending close to 70$ for a meal for me, a small tip to the restaurant, and of course a tip to the Postmates delivery master. A doughy, tough roll,with no pork belly, just some shredded ...goo. NO brnt ends, just some pork cubes. I know damn well what burnt ends are supposed to be,and these are not them. She walked by and dropped off two menus and walked away. She came for our order and turned around and walked away before we could order drinks.
