Terrible place. Sorry to say it may be racist. I ordered a medium well classic burger. They gave me a plain bun with a well done burger. no onion, lettuce, or tomato. Then I told the waitress. They made me wait 10 mins by the time they got to me they gave me a cold slice of store bought cheese on a plate along with lettuce, onion and tomato! Like it just don't make sense and the entire staff was by the bar just giggling and laughing. I went with my son this Sunday 7/12 and I will never set my foot in again. It wasn't busy in there and I see why.

We were here for office party. Upstairs. I don't remember the good, I'm the steak sticks are cold but tasty. I do remember however the cocktails. Espresso martini was excellent n cosmo was a perfect banana slider pink. The party area great.

My friend was performing here with an Irish dancing group on St Patrick's Day and the staff was fantastic! I told the hostess I was here to grab a drink and see my friend dance and she got me a great table right where they would be dancing. The service was quick and even though they knew that we would be in and out for a quick drink, we felt taken care of. They had cider on tap, which I always appreciate as someone who isn't a beer fan! I would definitely come back for a drink in the future.

Buffalo Chicken Wings, Irish Mac n' Cheese Bites, and side of Fries.

Typical Irish pub, but it's super pricey being located in Midtown. We spent a good few hours here, so had a number of rounds. A simple mixed drink will cost you $14 and the beers are $9-10 each. We had a Jack and Coke, which tasted funny; so we stuck with draft beer instead. For food, we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wings ($18), Irish Mac & Cheese Bites ($16), and side of Fries ($9). The food was super pricey for what you get. The wings only had 7 pieces and mac & cheese were 6 pieces. It really wasn't anything special nor worth the value. Aside from how pricey this spot is, every encounter with an employee didn't feel too welcoming. They seemed to want to hurry out of there whenever we ordered something.

Irish Spice Box!

We ended up at Pig n Whistle as the two places next door were either closed or didn't have kitchen service. I stuck my head in, the host said the kitchen was open and come on in. We proceeded to enjoy a couple of excellent cocktails and a good bowl of onion soup for my wife. I am never at a loss for menu options, especially in an Irish pub, but I was surprised to find the Irish Spice Box. I've been dying to try this, and as our server was from Dublin and assured me it was authentic, I dove in. It was absolutely the bite I needed, and I can't wait to go back. Thank you again for the hospitality, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful wood interior, very clean inside, & very friendly staff - great service overall & nice vibe. The wings are also really good, but overpriced, & small portions. Medium-sized salad: $17. Seven small-sized buffalo wings: $17. + two draft beers + tax: $54 total. Then add tip. This really does not seem right ....?

Stopped in for lunch with some friends. I ordered the French onion soup which was very good not salty with a good layer of cheese on top of homemade croutons. I also ordered the Buffalo egg rolls which were not to my liking, not sure if there was a seasoning I didn't like or the combination of flavors. Our server was able to remove them from our bill. The chicken sandwich had two large crispy friend chicken patties with a sweet and tangy sauce. Very good as were the French fries that came with it. The fries tasted like good boardwalk fries. I did not try the sliders but was told they were very good and the bacon jam was amazing. Great sports bar if you're looking for a bite to eat while watching whatever sport is playing at that time.

The atmosphere here for the rugby world cup has been incredible. Fans from all over the world have been packing the Pig to eat, drink, and cheer. The bar itself is full of rugby memorabilia. It is extremely large by Manhattan standards, but always seems to be overflowing out into the street during matches. Good thing they have an upstairs bar and an outside one as well. The food is surprisingly good for a pub this busy. I have had the meat pie with fries a few times, but the cassoulet was really good. Plenty of duck and sausage in a bean stew was a great base for all the Bronx hazy IPAs. I highly recommend this bar, especially if you watch rugby and it is so convenient to penn station for all the commuters.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. But if you try to rip me off by sneaking in extra charges, I will never come back. You just lost a regular customer over a $2 charge.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
