This is definitely a hidden gem in Pigeon Forge !!! It will be a regular stop for us every time we visit. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We really enjoyed talking with them. Their pretzels were amazing! They are freshly baked to order, so they come out hot and soft. My husband had a butter and salt pretzel with honey mustard (which was really good). I had the sugar and cinnamon (with a little salt) and vanilla glaze. All there is to say is OMG! It was by far the best pretzel I've ever had. We just stopped in for lunch and loved it! We are from out of town and are getting a bit tired of eating out. We were looking for something a bit lighter and when we saw this deli on Yelp we thought it would be a nice break from BBQ and fried foods. I got the club salad, my husband got the Italian sub and my daughters shared a ham and cheese. We all loved our food - the bread is amazing. We shared some cinnamon sugar pretzel bites for dessert. They are made to order and delicious! The employees were friendly and really wanted to make everyone happy. To start with, we appreciate that the person taking our order after hearing we were both getting a half order of the same sandwich a hot ham and american on pretzel sub, he encouraged us to just get a full sandwich and split it (why we didn't think of that, I'm not sure, probably overwhelmed trying to decide what to get). I wasn't going to order the same thing as hubby, but once he ordered it, it sounded very good. We both had the side salads with bleu cheese and a balsamic dressing. Both dressings were very good, the salads were plentiful and fresh. The sandwiches were holy cow good!! The pretzel bread was soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. There is a sign up that when busy, it can take up to 30 minutes for your order. It was not busy and we did not wait that long for our order. Oh and it was less than $15 for the two of us This is very much hidden in a strip mall and would have never found this place without Yelp or some other reviews online. Wow wow wow! What an awesome secret local deli! Definitely a fav. They make all of their own bread in house (pretzel bread is amazing)! And everything is so fresh and made to order, which makes it that much more delicious! I got the BLT on pretzel, mom got "The Chub" on wheat, Nana got the Rueben on white. All great choices! And cinnamon sugar pretzel bites were the perfect way to finish out the meal. I can imagine they are slammed during the lunch hour, but we went around 2-3pm after some shopping in town and there was no wait: ordered & had our food to us in under 15 minutes. Shizzam on them taste buds. It is fairly hard to find as everyone else says. It is in the far corner of the little shopping center. That and how small it is would be the only negatives I can say about the place. The customer service was great. As soon as I entered until I left they were friendly and made sure everything was good for us. The bread was slightly toasted but not to the point the crust pokes at the inside of you mouth which each bite. It was loaded with meat and flavor. I had the reuben sandwich and it was great. The others had half sandwiches and they also said it tasted good. The half sandwiches filled them up. So if you have children or someone with smaller appetites I would suggest considering going with a half. When I am in the area I will definitely stop by and try their other sandwiches. read more

We have been here multiple times and have never left disappointed. I recently went to a vegetarian diet and was able to find plenty to eat on their menu. They are very reasonably priced and use fresh ingredients. They have short hours in the middle of the day (11-3 I believe) so definitely check their site for times. It is worth stopping by for lunch. We actually thought the gps took us to the wrong place at first, but the address on Yelp is right. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, my husband got a Chub (teehee), and a salt and butter pretzel. The sandwiches are huge! Next time, we'll be splitting one for the both of us. The chicken salad is different and delicious, homemade with chicken breast and ranch dressing,and the size of my head. The Chub is a club sandwich on steroids. Both had amazing bread. As a pretzel purist, I can say get the salt and butter pretzel, and it needs no dipping sauce. This is the definition of a hidden gem in Pigeon Forge! Regardless, it is worth finding because it offers some of the best food we had on our entire vacation in the area. We tried both The Chub (pretzel bread!) and the Pot Roast sandwich (they make their pot roast daily!). Both of them were outstanding and we have been spoiled by the famous subs of New York City in our past. These are right on par. On top of it all, it is a family-run business. It's a Mom and Pop business with reasonable prices, delicious food and the friendliest people. For coffee they grinded our coffee beans before making our pot of coffee. The Good: I had The Chub sandwich on pretzel bread. It was really good. It was bigger than a club sandwich at McAllisters or Jason's. Honestly, half a sandwich is probably plenty unless you're really hungry. My wife got the American and my kids got a grilled cheese, both of which were good. The Bad: Inside seating is very limited. Fortunately, it was a nice day and we sat outside at one of three picnic tables. Though they were short-handed, it took about 40 minutes to get our order. I tried to make an Arnold Palmer, but the lemonade was just plain bad. Tea was OK. The DL: I like to support local places when I travel. I was excited to see this local eatery as #1 on Yelp. My wife and I treated our parents to a few days in the Smokies for some R&R prior to the holiday rush. While there we happened on the Pigeon Forge Deli & Coffee Shop. It was time for a late lunch and we could not have found a better spot. We have a wide variety of likes/dislikes, and my Father is allergic to dairy, my Mother and Father are both vegetarian, and my Mother-in-Law has some medical dietary restrictions. The owner, Suzanne was fantastic; taking all of our eccentricities and requests in stride. She really went the extra mile, checking ingredient lists, offering suggestions, and overall making sure that we each had a great lunch. The service is friendly, personal, and efficient, without being rushed. As for the food -- The homemade bread is AWESOME!!! Gluten free options are not abundant in this town, but thankfully, this eatery has options! We got a gluten free Reuben, grilled cheese, and chicken Cabo soon pretzel bread, and everything was so very delicious. The tomatoes were amazingly flavorful for winter time, and the sides we're all excellent as well (tomato soup, coleslaw, and side salad).
