My first experience with Pikkup service and their employees have been nothing but stellar from start to finish. I needed a sectional to be picked up and the. delivered to me the same day. It was kind of late in the day when I nervously requested the service after downloading the app and follow the user-friendly instructions. An associate contacted me right away to assure me that as soon as they were able to arrange for a 2-person pick up, they would notify me. The rep I spoke to asked if I'd be okay with nect day delivery, which I would have been okay with had it been possible for me to wait another day. But, that was not the case, unfortunately. As soon as they found 2 persons, they notified me and the pick up and delivery process started. Again, this was late in the evening when I initially placed the request, yet they accommodated me rather than simply cancel it. Sometimes, it's all about compromise. Two gentlemen came to my home to deliver my sectional in no time. They even removed my two leather sofas which I didn't need anymore and put outside my place. I didn't have to stress or lift a finger! They were polite and beyond helpful. I can't stop recommending Pikkup to friends and family. read more

West Elm recommended Pikkup and I had a great experience getting a sofa delivered and having two old sofas hauled away. My driver knew exactly what to do, had all the supplies and was in and out of my upstairs apartment in 20 minutes flat. He even cut down the huge cardboard box to make it way easier to throw away. Very impressed with both the efficiency and professionalism of the service. I had to haul a shower panel from the hardware store that would not fit in my car. I did a quick search on Google and found these guys and figured I would try it out. Within about an hour or so a gentleman in a pickup truck showed up and loaded up the box into the bed of the truck. He was super friendly, and used a blanket to make sure the box wouldn't get banged up in transport. I was in a bit of rush as I had a few other things to take care of, so I asked if he could simply drop the box off behind my gate while I took care of other stuff. When I got home, I was happy to see that he even brought the package up a flight of stairs so that he could hide it away from plain sight. The service was perfect for the job, and was less of a hassle than renting a truck, loading it myself, driving home, dropping it off, filling up the gas, returning it, and then running all my other errands. Wish these guys were around last year as I had a bunch of times where I needed this exact service. read more

Sorry folks, this company quoted me one price and then charged me almost 3 x as much, despite been given all the details of the collection, addresses and tasks involved. If you are going to quote a price, it should be based on all the details that we are ask to provide when booking, and be marginally accurate. I don't mind paying more if it's warranted but 3 x as much is an over site on the app's side. And to top it off, when I tried on multiple occasions to reach out to discuss all this with the company, all communication was cut off. Have not heard anything back since. I recently did a move with Pikkup that actually turned out to be a nightmare. Our mover, won't mention any names... broke our sofa. Then tried to blame it on my boyfriend, said it was "on his side" when it absolutely was not. I watched the break to the sofa leg happen. I told him to stop pushing, putting all the pressure on one leg. He ignored me, then the leg snapped. He then continue to try to mask that it happened, thinking that I didn't see it. When I said that the leg was broken, he stayed silent & didn't say a word. He then went on to be very rude and not very helpful after that. When we go to the house, he said the sofa could not go in without taking off the doorframe. Okay... so why don't you take it off? Instead he just left the sofa outside. My boyfriend and I had to remove the door and bring in the sofa ourselves. What did we pay this guy for? To move our furniture. He can't even do that. And on top of that, he broke the brand new $3,000 sofa. When we asked him to call his boss about the incident he went on to say "Now let's not point any fingers" & asking "Do you really want me to call my mans? The big boss?" Uhm... yes. Yes I do. Because you just broke my 3,000 dollar sofa. He then went on to say that he will talk to his boss and that he would get someone out here to repair the couch. Never heard from anyone for a week. I found Pikkup's customer service number and gave them a call. I guess I was speaking to "The Big Boss" when I called. He said that the only thing that they could do was give me a 20 dollar refund or 40 dollars off my next move. HA! Think I'm ever going to use them again? Never. So I just settled for the 20 dollar refund. Which will not cover the cost to fix my sofa, no offers to fix my sofa as promised either. The professionalism of this company is ludicrous to say the least. The mover did not handle my items with care. He broke them, then got an attitude about it. Couldn't even complete the job, either. He also made promises that he couldn't keep... my sofa is still broken & all I have is a lousy 20 dollar refund, that I had to get in touch with someone to even receive. If I didn't contact them, nothing would have happened. Sure, they are reasonably priced, but is that really worth you having to pay to repair your broken furniture? Of course not. Anyways, that's my experience with Pikkup, I'm going to find someone to fix my sofa now. read more

Most efficient and affordable moving experience I've had thus far! I waited until the last minute to schedule moving out of my apartment in Venice, but Pikkup was able to accommodate me nonetheless with two awesome movers. Some of my stuff was going into storage in Malibu, some of it was coming with me to my new residence in Brentwood, my bed was going to a friend's apartment, and the rest of it had to be thrown out. Since it wasn't all being moved to one place, I imagined the move would take all day, but Thai and Sam had me moved in record time. They were professional, speedy, and made the entire experience as painless as possible. Yesterday I drove down to my Public Storage unit in Culver City with the intention of moving a few pieces of my furniture to a location in Van Nuys. I realized a little too late that I had overestimated the carrying capacity of my car and would have to get help moving my furniture. Getting immediate help moving my stuff at 6:00PM on a Sunday seemed impossible, but I tried my luck and searched the app store for an app that provides immediate pickups and moving services. To my surprise, I saw the app Pikkup. I downloaded it for free and was able submit a request for an immediate pickup right away. Within two minutes I received an accepted response from a mover. In addition, I was able to track the mover's location via GPS through the app. In 15 minutes a Pikkup mover arrived with a pickup truck, a moving cart and a dolly. The mover, Thai, was extremely nice and efficient. Not only was he able to load up the furniture that I planned to move, but he also was able to load even more furniture than I thought I would be able to haul. After everything was packed up in his truck, he drove down to the location in Van Nuys and helped me bring it all into the house. I was extremely satisfied with Pikkup's services and will definitely be using them again. read more

I had a ginormous armoire that I needed to be moved from our master bedroom to our living room and Pikkup was the best and most reasonable priced company out there. They make the process easy and go above and beyond to get the job done as smoothly as possible.. Lucas was a kind, beast of a man who got my bed moved quickly and efficiently - up stairs - by himself. While Sam was incredibly helpful and accommodating when going out of his way to make my couch fit through my tiny door - taking the feet and door off and back on - And staying way longer than he had to to get the job done. He remained calm and collected throughout the frustrating process and was a complete delight.. All for an incredibly affordable price. I highly recommend this service. They're pros.
