Very busy this Sunday afternoon. One would think there is chaos but this is a well run burger joint. Deep fried mushrooms are just okay. Disappointed in quality. I'm guessing food service and frozen. Mushy Burger was okay. Nothing special Staff was rushed and not as welcoming as I'd hope. I'll come back if passing by

We tried this place for the first time. It's right down the street from the library and the aquatic center. We ordered the fish and chips and it came with fries and buttered toast. We also ordered onion rings and ranch. The kids ordered a small chicken strips basket that came with fries and buttered toast. The kids loved the chicken strips and ranch. I loved the onion rings. They were nicely breaded. The ranch was not my favorite but it was still good. I also liked the fried fish. The fries were not my favorite but they were still tasty. Next time I think we wanna try the pot roast sandwich and their shakes. The lady taking our order was really nice. The guy handing us our order at the window was not very personable. I get it. It's a summer job. We will definitely be back to get something else.

I come here about 2-3 times a year- I live 2,200 miles away in the East. Yeah far way…read more I love their fresh sandwiches and homemade soups. It's a real treat for me - staff here is nice and friendly I could go to a new place here in downtown Snohomish but Gorilla Bites has never served a disappointing meal. Go with what you know:)

Tried this spot for a weekday lunch and had a pretty good experience overall!…read more I went for the salad bar. It was decent and definitely filling. As a vegetarian, my protein option was pesto tofu, while the other options were salmon and tuna. They had all the usual greens and vegetables, and everything was served cold. There were a few in house dressings along with some store bought ones. I tried the balsamic vinaigrette and a honey ginger dressing. It was good, but I think it could be better. My husband ordered the pesto tofu sandwich with Moroccan soup, and that was the highlight. The sandwich was delicious, and his only regret was not getting the full size. The soup was also really flavorful. The place itself feels cozy. The food came out quickly, and we finished everything in no time. Parking is street parking, which might be tricky, especially on weekends. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely come back to try more sandwiches or burgers, but I would probably skip the salad bar next time.

This McDonalds never fails me. They're just a good ol' standard that is great for breakfast, lunch,…read moreor dinner. For breakfast, I love the biscuit sandwiches and hasbrowns. For lunch/dinner, I've been into their McCripsy sandwiches lately - the Deluxe, Spicy McCrispy, specifically. However, 2 double cheeseburgers after hiking always hits the spot. Pricing isn't great anymore... I feel like I used to be "satisfied" with the price of stuff I bought at McDonalds, but now, for a similar price I can get takeout from a "real restaurant" -- and with online ordering being so prevalent, it can be similarly convenient. So, I very rarely go to McDonalds, and it's almost never my idea because of that. This location is always pretty fast - I've ordered online and in the drive-thru. Online ordering is a little weird... they don't greet you or acknowledge you (maybe it's intentional -- like giving people what they want (zero contact, lol)) - but it kind-of feels like you're sneaking in and stealing food. Drive-thru is only annoying if the line is really long or they put you in one of the 3 spots to wait for something. However, if they do that, it means they're making something fresh which is always worthwhile. Inside, they have some ordering kiosks. Not sure if they take human-based orders or not, but I assume they expect you to use the kiosk usually. Most of the interior is a play-area that's not as cool as the old one you'll see in some pics here. Because of that, there aren't a ton of tables - maybe 5-7 of them, but that's almost certainly enough for everything but the biggest rushes (like an event ending at the High School nearby or something).

A casual mention that Taco Time in Snohomish ranked high for tasty Mexican food by an acquaintance…read moreprompted my first time visit last month. Dine in and drive through was available. I swung by at 11:45 AM and hit the drive through. The parking lot had five cars. Not too busy. And I noticed that the parking lot was clean and store front was inviting. The first direct user experience with this place was the menu board and the drive through staff. Friendly and professional voice. Easy to read menu - organized and the font size was appreciated - no squinting required. I ordered a soft chicken burrito and beef taco. One car ahead of me. Wait time about 1 minute. The food was HOT. Fresh. And filled the car with the aroma of Mexican food and a promise of good eats. It didn't disappoint. Taco was fresh, bright flavors. Seasoning was balanced. You knew it was a beef taco. The chicken burrito was HOT. Fresh. The wrap was fully loaded and as I pulled it out of the bag I noticed not only the temperature but the heft. The weight of the thing. Clearly a generous portion. The construction was balanced so it was wrapped perfectly and held its shape until the very end. (Past experience has been mixed with some vendors who wrap incorrectly, resulting in a handful of mush near the end of the burrito). I particularly found the seasoning and the filling to be perfect: moist and firm, rich and balanced flavors. The only unfortunate thing about the burrito was that I only bought one. It was filling but the flavor left me wanting more. (Sauces were offered. I declined. I tried the home made Ranch. Creamy. But I like mine with more seasoning. Plenty of napkins provided). So. I came back for a late dinner the same day. Why not? At 8:25 PM who wants to make a mess in the kitchen after getting home? If you have worked in the food industry on any level, closing the kitchen or service area is a balance of shutting down making food while using whatever is left. In an ideal world, you guess how much to make to last you up until you're officially closed and no longer serving food. It sometimes results in a minimum satisfactory product: just enough to qualify to be sold, but not the typically robust product you usually make. So hitting a restaurant near closing increases the risk of substandard food. (And experiencing the quiet fury of a kitchen staff who does work at a difficult low paying job and is tired and wants to go home. There is nothing worse than having customers coming in after everything is sanitized and your forced to undo that hard work resulting in staying longer). So I ordered two soft chicken burrito through the once again friendly sounding staff drive through. And at that late time I was not surprised to find them lukewarm and the portion size not close to the size I had at lunch time. The flavor was still there though. And my kitchen would be clean. I pass this experience along to you so you can avoid the pitfall of ordering near the end of the business day. If at all possible, order ahead. Creating the filling for a chicken burrito is vastly different from frying burgers. I wouldn't expect to hold them to identical standards. The same for Asian food or pizza. It's more labor intensive. Call ahead. I now consider Taco Time another quick, friendly, clean, and tasty offering in Snohomish that I'll enjoy. The chicken burrito is also served in a crispy version, which will be my next venture. I look forward to it. During lunch or at dinner time. Two chicken burritos ran under the $15.00 mark. Five stars for a menu that sticks to common sense instead of trying to make the Guinness Book of World Records in the number of menu items for a Mexican fast food chain. Four stars - they took the normal one star hit for the late night order. Tip: In cases where I couldn't deliver a five star product for whatever reason, I'd give the customer a heads up and suggest an alternative menu item or cut them a discount. Management gave us leeway to discount in these rare situations up to 35 percent. Which was a great way of creating a loyal customer base.
