Truck stop w/ Wendy's and Subway. Showers are decent- I would def keep my shoes on! Service is odd imo. There's one associate who just kinda does whatever he wants. I was under the impression truck drivers weren't allowed to smoke marijuana (DOT rules) but that's def not the case lol associates link w/ drivers to buy weed, smoke weed... I mean JEEZ. I was taken aback. Not sure if it's done with all the drivers but one in particular the associate made sure they connected. A bit uncomfortable as that worker may have been intrigued by me, I made it my business to avoid him particularly. Not sure if there is more than one worker there with dreads but this one has them. Good to know the workers get along with the drivers for sure but that was a bit much for me. I guess if you're looking for somewhere to work and still get high, this is it. read more

Went by the station to get some gas and refill our water bottles. We are camping and out of water. Midway through an employee stops us and tells us we can't have more water. Absolutely terrible service we left without buying the gas we were going to get. Horrible morals from your employees you should be ashamed. read more

Pilot Stop Stop on 99th Ave right off the I-10 Freeway in Avondale. The restroom wasn't terrible/horrible but wasn't really all that clean either, the actual store was pretty nice, the cashier was really nice and helpful! The truck stop is really for everyone, not just truckers. They have a gas station area for cars that is separated from the diesel pumps that the big rigs use. They have a Wendy's and Subway, Wendy's has a drive thru but if you want subway you have to go inside the store. Overall not a bad place to stop, way nicer than the Flying J on 67th Avenue read more

I recommend this place only because of DiDi super nice and helpful. Had to return something from a different store and she heard my story from the flying j manager off of lathem and 67th which he was very rude and told me to go back to NM and return it and not to throw it on him. DiDi was very understanding and helpful. Five stars just because she was that great and made my long day better. read more

No Tp in the bathroom. No hand towels at all. Bathrooms are obviously going on checked. Large amount of hair in the corners. This is long term neglect. That means the managers are not checking/don't care/or this is just how the place is ran. It's one thing to have a lazy worker skipping out in work.... but the same toilet with no paper in it at 12:30 and still none at 17:15. Same trash on the ground too and empty water bottle. Who ever is running this place should be Homeless people everywhere. I complained twice to the manager on two different shifts. They didn't do a damn thing. One guy harassed my wife between two trucks... not safe at all here for women!!! read more

Waited over an hour in line for a shower with no one cleaning them for turnover. Plenty of staff doing nothing but playing with the money till for over an hour and talking. No updates on when the shower would be available. Cockroaches and other insects in the bathrooms. The only good thing about this place was the A/C. read more

So over this Pilot. I used to stop twice a week for gas as I work down the street and have a 55 mile commute. Since their "system upgrade" you cannot pay at the pump. I hung in there for about six weeks, stopping back every other fill-up to see if it was fixed. Nope. Last visit I asked the cashier about it and he said... our prices are the lowest around here, who cares if you can't pay at the pump? To the manager who was on duty tonight 12-22-20 ( with dark hair), I didn't mean to upset you by asking if you could send someone to tend to the bathroom. I simply was informing you that it had been that way for a few hours or for the second time I've been in the bathroom since I'd been there. I really do understand that you probably did just come on shift and you probably came into a particularly crazy scenario starting your shift. It's a very busy store. I get it.. I was just informing you that it was that way and to be honest I was very confused by the way you addressed me and the problem, you didn't really want to deal with it and it was passed on to you I'm sure by the previous manager. I love Pilot travel centers. They are also associated with Flying J. They offer a good selection of drinks, snacks, finger foods and other items as well. If you are part of the rewards program you can get .03 cents off per gallon. You can also get free coffee after you buy several cups, I thinks it's buy nine get one free. My issue was not with the store itself. It was with the security that was on duty. I witness a customer say " oh no the security" jokingly and the security was so pissed he told him to get out and if he didn't get out that he was going to call the police. Never seen someone so off the hinge. Good thing there was me and two other customers in line that told the security that he needed to chill out and that he didn't do anything wrong to throw a driver out. Uncalled for. We asked the Manager of this location to deescalate the situation and all he said was he can't do anything because the security was a contractor and not an employee. So the manager of the store doesn't have control of the building? Even the driver that was told to get out was shaken up let alone people who witness this behavior of the guard. Hopefully pilot corporate can check the footage out. Happened 11-18-23 around 10:20am-10:30am inside store. read more

DeeDee was a lifesaver!! What an awesome person and employee! In the midst of a tire failure on our trailer on a Sunday morning, and the need to get air in our tires, we couldn't find anywhere to help us. We stopped at this Pilot and she went out of her way to ensure that we were taken care of!! All of the staff that assisted us were great, but Dee Dee was exceptional! On 07/07/20 at 10:55 pm, I went to this Subway Location and their customer service was TERRIBLE. The male worker that night was very rude. I'm aware the store was closing at 11 pm. But does it really take that long to make a sandwich?!?? He was serving someone before me and he said something but wasn't looking at me so I disregarded what he said and continued to waited in line. Then when the customer before me left, he rushed to the back and said something about "She told me she was my last customer" again without looking at me. There are store hours for a reason. I worked at a food franchise before and I was expected to abide by the hours. AND I'm aware that the oven was probably turned off a while ago but I was willing to work with that. All you really need to make the sandwich are gloves and a bread knife so there aren't any dishes to clean. I would've felt better if the guy tried to console me but he rushed to the back with an attitude and without a clear explanation. Will never visit this location again. read more

Gas is super cheap here! Some of the cheapest I've found in Phoenix. Especially for being right off the I-10, its price is super solid. Only problem is exiting the place, no light so you're getting back on a pretty busy street especially if you're trying to make that left back to the I-10. read more

Trucks drivers are the reason these companies have bloom. We spend millions of dollars in fuel. We would appreciate a clean shower stall. As I enter my shower that I was assigned. I notice I was not provided a hand towel. Just 1 face towel and 1 towel. The shower was soak and wet. I have never purchase a shower and the shower was soak with water as if someone just took a shower 30 seconds before me. The toilet was filthy. There is no hair dryer provided. Every truck stop I have stop at has always provided a hair dryer so we don't have to go outside with wet hair. I'm very disappointed with this Pilot. I will NOT fuel or shower at this location again. I will also advise my colleagues to stay away from this location especially if you are in need of a shower. read more

So we had no choice but to stop here because the Flying J up the street was full and we had no place to park the truck. They have no trouble around here at all the only place you can sit at a Wendy's in a hard back chair and listen to a bunch of kids scream and yell while you try to relax after driving all day I'm fighting traffic. The showers are filthy the floor was soaking wet just like someone it came out prior to me going in. The only food Choice here is Subway or Wendy's or fast food very very disappointed in this place. As I said no truck no place to rest and relax no conveniences whatsoever and the people behind the cash registers are rude. I would not suggest any over-the-road driver or professional driver stop here find some other place to fuel waste of time I raided them with one star but they deserve and -10 read more
