This place is nasty. Dirty as hell, barely any washers work. Staff is miserable and rude. I feel like my laundry is actually dirtier after being in those nasty washers. To top it off, some of the clientele is foul. One lady was washing poop stained underwear and she was wearing poop stained sweatpants. Barf. Go here if you want your clothes covered in someone else's poop. Wish i could give negative stars. read more

Worst experience ever! My sheets and mattress pad came out of the washer dripping wet like the spin cycle didn't work and they would not give me my money back and the worker said it was my mattress pad. I've washed the same mattress pad and sheets many times and this has never happened! Then the worker got mad at me because my sheets were dripping water on the floor as I was trying to figure out what to do! I ended up wringing them out as much as possible and then trying to dry them in a dryer. The first dryer I put 2 quarters in had no glass on the door, which I didn't notice until I pushed start and my sheets started coming out the front! There was no out of order sign on either broken machine! It's late in the evening and they are closing soon so I am going home with wet sheets and I don't have any other sheets to sleep on tonight! I just cannot believe this experience was so horrible! I had read that about half the machines were out of order and that is true but the frustrating part is I used two machines that were not marked "out of order" and they clearly did not work! Whatever you do, do not go here to do laundry!!!! read more

Used to be a good place. No more. Probably 60 percent of the washers are out of order and have been for months. Bad attitude from staff when there were no working washers available and I politely asked if she knew when they would be fixed. I know she hears it all the time but no excuse for being rude. I wasn't. I told her I knew it wasn't her fault. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Spin and Sparkle is more expensive but their washers work. read more

I would give it zero stars if possible. The moment I walked in, the attendant started sweeping around my feet, then tells me I cannot wash rugs at this laundromat nor can I use the $6 washer that I have loaded two comforters, two blankets and three towels because it doesn't completely take up all the room. Then refused to refund the $1.50 I had already put into the washer as that isn't how it's done here. If it's possible to make a person feel more unwelcome in a business, that chick was sure trying to use it. Don't waste your time nor money. read more

Clean, helpful attendant, best hours. There isn't a change machine, but the attendant can make whatever change you need. Lots of high capacity machines. read more

We found plenty of available machines and helpful staff to make change. This is our new spot for doing our laundry, mid-trip. It had plenty of parking and we had our choice of several cafe's and a coffee shop nearby. read more

I've been going to this laundromat for years. Today one of the dryers overheated and ruined my clothes with black spots and ridiculous shrinkage. The attendant called the owne. I guess he lives upstair. I showed him the damage and he said he cannot take responsibility for a dryer that overheats. I've washed these same items dozens of times and understand what I'm doing. Again it's a faulty drying unit that ruined my clothes and he takes no responsibility. read more

New favorite place to do my laundry! After going to my regular spot and there was absolutely no parking, and I was honestly sick of the moldy smell and the lack of dryers, I came here. Clean, but show up with your own change. Don't ask for quarters. The attendant has the personality of an alligator. You will have a better day if you beg for quarters on the street, then decide to go do some laundry. read more

The lady working here at 1 pm, Friday August 4th, 2017 is extremely rude and snappy. Apparently discontented by the fact she had to mop up some water, she snapped at me not to use the washer I stopped at. "No one's allowed on this side" she barked at me. I walked over to some other washers as she screeched, "SIR, I said not those washers." Confused by the interaction, I explained I needed two washers and she wasn't too concerned. "Well, no one can use these" she said. I paid extra to use washers that were bigger than necessary. Not a huge deal. When I asked her if there was a change machine, you would have thought I had asked for an exorbitant loan. She was so visually displeased, that I felt her displeasure. We all have bad days, and maybe these aren't the most glorious of times for her, but she just lost a customer. I witnessed a similar interaction between her and an older gentleman afterwards. He was just as baffled as I was by her tone. "Which washers am I allowed to use?" I heard him ask as he glanced around, clearly confused. This treatment will most likely continue to turn away customers in the future. I would gadly pay more to help employ pleasant workers. Owners take notice! read more

I've loved Pinch Penny since I first brought my sons here while skiing 15 years ago, and living here, now use it for the big jobs. Who can resist the pleasant staff, the local flavor, and the economical machines that are "not to be used for dying?" It's a little cheaper than the more central laundromat and very close to some of the best cafes and diners in town. read more

I have never been treated so poorly in a professional business. It was such a shock to me that people can be so rude , especially when you're spending money in their establishment. Never going back again. They don't allow kids here. The employee working is very rude and she was treating me like I was a child myself and had something to say non stop. Add, that she insisted that I put too much time on the dryer and mumbled at the temperature on the dryer. The moment I came to take the clothes out of the dryer they were still wet. When I added more time to the dryer I saw that the heat was lowered. No wonder why the clothes were still wet. Common sense showed the only person that would be lowering the temperature would be her. She wasted my time and my money by doing this. I don't plan to ever go back there again. I don't need to be monitored like I have no idea how to do laundry and like I haven't been doing laundry in a laundromat for a long time. How many people have had to put more money into the dryers because the employees are turning down the heat to the dryers and customers are having to purchase more time. It adds up when you have multiple dryers going. read more
