Dropped off comforters to be cleaned. Informed as I was going out the door that price went up "slightly". I don't call going from $15 to $30 slightly. They used to put the cleaner comforter in a plastic zip bag which is great for storage. Today they were wrapped in thin plastic. When I said something to the woman at the counter she said they are the cheapest around. I guess I'll wait for a sale at Belk and buy a new comforter cheaper. read more

Pine Cleaners is a scam. Shirts not cleaned or pressed. Pants not cleaned or pressed. It's like they just tagged them and put them on hangers with a plastic bag over them. Nothing was cleaned or pressed. I never thought I'd find a cleaner that didn't clean what you brought to them to clean. read more

I have dealt with Pine Cleaners in Huntersville, NC for over 5 years and every time I have notified them that expensive items have not been returned, I am told that they know nothing about this and that all clothing has been returned back to me. I feel they are causing me of lying!!!!!! They also didn't give me back my laundry bags and I have been told that it is a $2 bag. I don't care if the bag was $.50 or $200; they are my bags and I want them back and I feel this owner is disrespectful towards his customers. He acts like a a real jackass all the time. I will not use them anymore as there are plenty of other businesses that will clean my clothes and will not give me a hard time I am only giving this business one star because I can't give -10 stars!!!!! read more

****Review changed after working with them over the Yelp deal******* Be aware that when you get the $20 for $30 deal on yelp for Pine Cleaners that you have to use the full amount in one visit. We got it planning to use it for one item then other stuff later on. We ended up not being able to use it when we picked up our clothes. After later discussions with the owner, they ended up giving us a store credit since we were unaware of the stipulation, which was very nice. Overall the service is good and they did a good job. The clothes were clean and on time and they did care enough to work with us on the deal we purchased. read more

O brought a last minute garment to this dry cleaner and they had it ready the very next day. The attendant is very friendly even after I lost my ticket she didn't give me any grief and helped me right away. My garment was clean and fresh. Try them out you won't regret it read more

Used several times for the delivery convenience. However, I discontinued their service because they couldn't get a simple dry cleaning process done correctly. I just didn't want a crease in my dress pants. I told him the first day I signed up "no crease" and called them to correct it after every service. Only once I got my dress pants back without a crease. Once they are creased it is hard to get the crease out, they never offered to correct the matter or even offer credit. Dry cleaning is a competitive business, I would strongly suggest avoiding this company. I was foolish to let this happen four times read more

I have used this dry cleaners for a while, and gave them a lot of business. BUT, they lost an expensive sweater that I had only worn once, so I feel someone took it, it was not just "lost". Anyway, I have waited patiently for them to do something about it, they know they lost it as my ticket was marked "due one piece" however, they have made no attempt to compensate me for it. I know I will be lucky to get 10% of the cost, since they limit what they will pay, but I am very unhappy that they show no concern. Short sighted on their part, I was a very good customer and they would have made back the cost in a short time. Now I will do all I can to warn people about this place. About a month ago I brought a mix of 26 drapes and sheers to be pressed only. These were all brand new, just out of the packages. The sheers came back fine, the drapes were shrunk. 8 of them just a little, the other 8 were between 3 and 5 inches short. So bad, the linings were hanging below the drapes. After being told they could stretch them back, I brought them back to the store. Upon receiving them back, nothing had changed. Still short. I brought them back a second time. Again still short. Finally found out that they never touched them either time. I wasted my time and gas for nothing. I then called the owner, Andy, he said they only pressed them and accused the maker of being inconsistent. I purchased them from BB&B. They were shipped to me from 3 different places. No way they could have been made at the same time, much less incorrectly. After much disagreeing, and my sending him the shipping labels, he checked reviews of the drapes. All good, nothing about being short. He finally agreed to pay me for them asking for the old ones in exchange so he could donate them. I felt he had done his due diligence so I agreed to take $100 less for the curtains seeing he was trying to be fair. I had to chase him for 2 weeks to get the check. He twice told me he forgot about it. Both times within hours of telling me he would put it in the mail later that day. Finally got the check and cashed it right away as I didn't trust that the check would be good. His business practices are questionable at best. I will never do business with him again. As a final note, I purchased new drapes. Took them out of the package and hung them up. What do you know, perfect. Not a single one was short. read more

They did a great job cleaning my down comforter!! I had gotten lazy since I moved...not gotten it cleaned and I let my doggies pass out on it (occasionally). I got it back and it smelled brand new (not like sprayed with any smelly scent) and it was white as snow and soft!! It was only around $16...better than spending $150 on a new one.(although you can never have enough down comforters). Employees were very nice too! read more

I was a long time customer of Pine Cleaners - even with the previous owner. One of my dry cleaning orders got lost by the new owner and I did not have my ticket. Orders get lost at dry cleaners and they usually turn up. I asked the then new owner about my missing clothes and they said they did not have them. A couple of weeks later when picking up a different order I was given the wrong clothes in addition to my clothes. I showed the owner what happened and said this must be what happened to my clothes that were lost. When I talked to the owner and showed him how I was given the wrong clothes and that must have been what happened to my clothes, he got very defensive and kept repeating and repeating "I HAVE NO PROOF WE LOST ANY OF YOUR CLOTHES." I showed him the wrong clothes that were given to me and again he said "I HAVE NO PROOF WE LOST ANY OF YOUR CLOTHES." That was the last time I used Pine Cleaners. I lost $300 to $400 worth of clothes. Everybody makes mistakes and you would hope when they do that they would try to make it right. That certainly did not happen here!! read more
