Came here for lunch with my husband and son, Iv had their food before at kidcadia and always been satisfied but I wanted to check out their cafe this time and it is so cute. I loved their decor and how on coastal point theme it is. The service was great and the boy at the register who helped us was so sweet and kind. Overall I was happy and will recommend anyone to come check out this cafe. I got the superior and my husband got the corned beef sandwich both were delicious.

    The Ontario Sammich

Let me tell you this. This place doesn't sell sandwiches. It sells SAMMICHES. From Urban Dictionary, a sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever. Sums it up perfectly. The Ontario sandwich is quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had (in recent memory)! I am so glad I accidentally wandered into this spot. I was visiting the Arab American National Museum down the street and wanted to grab a quick bite and I didn't want McDonald's or Burger King. I thought...hmm a sandwich shop. Let's just grab a quick bite. I didn't know what to order so I ordered the Ontario and an iced caramel latte. Once the sandwich came out I thought," Hmm looks good." Then I took a single bite and OMG. The toasted crunch, the chipotle sauce, the perfectly sou vided chicken breast, and melted cheese...it was just an explosion of favor! The French fries were perfectly done and had a good crisp. The spot is quiet and comfortable. I could see myself coming back to enjoy a slow afternoon while eating a godly sandwich.

The Ontario sandwich is quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. Not only is it delicious and bursting with flavor, but the bread is always so perfectly grilled it could star on a magazine cover. And the chicken, thanks to sous vide cooking, is perfectly tender every single time. The fries are always expertly prepared too - golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had the fortune of trying the pineapple oasis smoothie during Dearborn Restaurant Week and it was so tasty that now I'll order it every time, and I almost never order drinks anywhere, especially smoothies, so that's saying something.

Veggie panini with chicken and side of fries

Had the veggie panini and added chicken. Quite good sandwich- flavorful, hot, and not soggy. Fries were nice and crispy. Service was light but somewhat expected considering typical fast casual type place. Pricing on meal was fair, drinks seemed a little high. Was ~$16 for my lunch meal

    Mocha Latte

The place is not bad. However, nothing special as well. First, the very good details. The decor of this place is beautiful. It's really spacious and bright. I love it. The barista was extremely kind as well. The kiosks come in handy. Those were all good. Now for the improvement details. The place could use just a little more work on their coffee. They said they sourced the coffee from Great Lakes which is ok. I ordered a mocha latte but I was not pleased to get it barely warm. They really need to steam their lattes at higher temperatures. I know I can just ask them to do so but if that is their default then that is a pretty cold latte. It simply tasted milky and warm. Not at all strong of the chocolate or espresso coffee taste. So I hope they can improve that because if I need my coffee hit I expect a latte to do that. It was as if I drank a lukewarm hot chocolate. I was hoping for the caffeine to kick in but unfortunately nothing. As for the prices they were fair.

    Kimchi fries, salad, sandwich

The sandwiches were so good, tender and juicy. My favorite was the superior and kimchi fries. The cafe was clean and well lit. I can't wait to go back again!

I got the Huron sandwich with sweet potato fries and everything is amazing. It tasted fresh, the sandwich was well done and the sweet potato fries were delicious. There is a clean and calm ambience. Perfect for a lunch break with friends.

Can I talk about how much I love this place? This was our first stop after arriving in the area and checking into our hotel. The inside is beautifully decorated and I love that there are multiple options for ordering. They have a kiosk, or you can scan a barcode, or you can order at the counter. The menu was so enticing that it took our group a while to make a decision. We were all interested in the Isle Royale (salmon sandwich), so decided to split it as an appetizer. It was really good! I think a bit more slaw would have made it even more amazing. Among the table, we also had The Superior, The Mackinac, The Huron, and The Michigan (salad). We tasted each other's food and everything was great and flavorful! The sweet potato fries were the best and I'm typically not a fan. Pine Coast Cafe also has an extensive coffee selection. I had the mocha iced latte and two other guests had the iced chai latte. They were good, but super light. We enjoyed them. However, if you like a bit more of a strong coffee flavor on your lattes, this may not hit the mark. Other than that, the staff were super nice, helpful and awesome! Also, there's plenty of parking in the back of the building. I highly recommend Pine Coast Cafe!

Side Chic's blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.) The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender. I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you're chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken. Side Chic's avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn't distract from the chicken. The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed. Side Chic's is a carry out spot that's open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful. Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner. I really can't say enough good things about Side Chic's. Best Chicken Tenders I've had in the Detroit/Dearborn area!

I came recently and the fries, fried pickles, and sauces were all great! The chicken was still okay, but not seasoned the same way as before. Still moist and tender tho. There's was oil all over the boxes though and staining like a seventh (or 14-18%) of the paper bag. That's a lot. The box was dripping oil. Tasted great other than comparing the chicken to the first time. i'm confused about the lack of reviews. I'm thinking I have the wrong page...

The Fajita Sub was loaded with chicken, cheese, and toppings and was solid. The crispy bread had a satisfying crunch and the flavors were bold and tasty. The chicken tenders, albeit frozen, were actually very well fried and seasoned. They even gave us extra tenders in our order for free as well as a free water! On top of that, for no extra charge the order came with many different tasty sauces to choose from. Zaghloul is affordable and tasty with people who put the customer first!

Unfortunately the location in…read moreDearborn Heights just isn't somewhere I go very often so it's been stuck on my list for the longest time. They opened a second branch in East Dearborn recently which finally allowed me to give the subs a try. The restaurant itself is quite small and is mostly a takeout destination. There are only 14 seats in the small dining room, a small fridge stocked with drinks, and the order counter, from which you can see the kitchen. I went in on a very empty weekday lunch and got one item, which took about 10 minutes to come out: Lebanese Sub, Half ($8.99) - They toast this sub well, resulting in a very nice crunch on the exterior. Just be careful eating it - you can pretty easily lacerate your gums if you're not careful! The interior is moist for the most part, with a bit of a mild garlic and mayo mixture that covers all the ingredients. There's a double layer of grilled chicken breast that forms a base layer, followed by some fries that are crunchy on the exterior and fluffy on the interior, and finally a layer of crunchy and acidic pickles. The chicken is the weakest part of the dish - some pieces are overcooked, dry, and tough. It's most noticeable in the thickest areas where there's not enough mayo/garlic to add moisture to the sandwich. Still, overall I found the sub to be good and the ingredients all complemented each other well. Note: The little red tray that they served the sub in smelled heavily of bleach and my first couple of bites had a slight whiff of bleach thanks to that. If you eat here, I would recommend removing the food from the tray before eating. Zaghloul Subs is definitely worth a try.

Michigan weather would make me want this type of soup on a regular basis. The garlic sauce is a thick dip that was great for dipping the falafel and the fries. I would definitely order those on each visit. The sandwich was filling and stuffed full of perfectly seasoned chicken. The garlic dip and pickles were spread throughout the inside of the sandwich as well. The thin bread was both soft and crisp. We ended with a hot black tea with cardamom.
