The phone system has AI scheduling appointments, it was accurate but this is not my preference, I prefer to speak to humans. The ladies I did and up speaking to in the phone were quite pleasant. While checking in for the appointment, the ladies had a kind and professional manner. We waited about 15 minutes past our appointment time but that wasn't too bad. The hygienist, X-ray tech, and doctor were friendly and did a wonderful job with my son. It was nice that they allow parents to be present. We didn't feel rushed and all questions were answered. Checkout went quickly and so did scheduling the next appointment. I really felt they had my child's best interest at heart. read more

Received calls and messages confirming my appointment and then 20 minutes before the appointment I received a call cancelling it because they were short of staff, which I truly understand, but then the offer to reschedule it was for five more months waiting? My daughter had 4 crowns done at this location. I have insurance but was charged upfront the cost and was advised I would be refunded the additional upon completion of payment from the insurance. The services were on March 8, March 28, April 5, and April 18. I paid 480.66 a visit. After the insurance paid their portion I was owed a refund of 331.66 per visit. I have contact the billing department May 23, July 9, Aug 19, Sept 11, Sept 25, Oct 22 and then Oct 28. I emailed the EOB to them on May 23 and July 9th. As of today I am still awaiting them to refund me the $1,326.64 that the overcharged me for the visits. If I owed them this amount they would of sent me to collections. Maybe I should open an LLC and back bill them for the total owed plus the interest I would of paid on a credit card then when they have not paid me in 30 days send it to a collection company. This is just not a good business practice. If you are going to bill me upfront and advise me that I will be refunded as soon as the insurance claim is processed and paid then follow your word. It has been 4 months since you received payment from the insurance, yet I have spent over 4 hours on the phone and 7 calls to you with no results. Please explain this to me. Over the 4 visits this guy did the final 2, Keshmiri, Reza DDS, and he was not compassionate at all with her. She is 6 and she was hurting and crying when we walked out with just getting 2 crowns. This occurred on both visits with him. Now the other 2 dentists that took care of her: Vohara, Shahin N DMD Scott, Zakiya T DDS They were amazing. Very caring and heartfelt. She felt no pain at all when they did the work to her. All 3 dentists did the exact same work 2 crowns per visit. Explain why she is crying with one dentist but smiling with the other 2. read more

Very unprofessional, I used this place because they took my insurance and we're close. Unfortunately for me they pack the place in like a assembly line to fit as many people in as they can, so if you miss a single phone call from them (because they have the wrong number) they will cancel your appointment and leave you stuck Long story short not great people with garbage customer service giving average to below average service Plenty of other dentist out there so do yourself a favor and skip pine dentistry read more

My daughter has been going to Kool Smiles/Pine Dentistry since she was 3 years old. My daughter is now 12 years old; now we discover that she has an impacted tooth after waiting 3 years for her baby teeth to fall out to pursue getting the braces. If I had never pushed for the braces, which they act like they didn't want to do, we would have never discovered the impacted tooth, and they should know that by looking at my child's teeth and how the front teeth were shifting and different in size, you can see/determine that a tooth is missing. I have left the practice as well and will not recommend them, and all comments are true: Pine bills and are more concerned about teeth cleaning, cavities but fail at looking at the x-rays from an expert's perspective. How was the tooth missed over the years? I am not an expert at reading x-rays; I put my trust in Pine Dentistry just for this to happen and act like they could care less. read more

Honestly, this review is 100% based on the communication with Pine Dentistry. I can't ever reach the office by phone or by email. No one returns my many calls and messages. I had to needle the folks at the desk for information about procedures pertaining to my child's extraction, and only after pressing them did they give me an estimate and tell me what paperwork I'd need to provide. They messed up our first appointment and scheduled it as a different kind of appointment, then they could not walk me through the many hoops there seemed to be without my insistent questioning. I visited Pine Dentistry in March 2021 because my crown came off and they were a provider with my insurance. Front desk staff was dismissive as I sat for hours to be seen. The assistant was very pleasant and took X-rays. Dr. examined my tooth and glued the crown back on, but wanted me to return to replace the crown for $1500 out of pocket! The crown fell off again within 2 weeks and I didn't go back. Just went to my old dentist and paid $207 out of pocket including X-rays and my crown is repaired. Dentist said there was no need for a new crown and fixed it right up!!! Be warned people! Pine Dentistry operates with unethical standards and will attempt to fraudulently charge for unnecessary procedures! I wish I had read the reviews before I went! Don't do it! read more

First of all the ladies up front were nice. The dentist that pulled 3 of my teeth well he needs to be more nicer. He just jammed the needle in my gum. No explanation of what to do after I get home just you are done. The girl helping him had a smart attitude when I was waiting for her to bring my prescription up to the front for me. My 4 year old had teeth giving her pain to the point she would be crying. Took her to a children's dental center in Mechanicsburg and the only way they would help her was if we would wait 2 months and drive her across the state to a surgery center to be put under general anesthesia costing just under 3 grand out of pocket. Other dentist offices would not see her for weeks and months. I was at the end of my rope and called this office as a last resort because of all the negative reviews I read on here. Within a week and a half they had her in the office for a cleaning and all teeth with problems fixed under nitrous. This place does not deserve a one star rating BY FAR. The only complaint I have is they didn't get the amount I was responsible for correct and charged me more than I should have paid, but I contacted the billing department and they said once they receive the EOB from my insurance they'll issue me a check for any overpayments. If I have an issue with that I'll update this review. As for everything else though, this place is 5 stars. I will be switching my other daughter to this place now as well. read more

First impressions are everything. I came in early as directed but wasn't called for 30 minutes past my scheduled visit. In the meantime I got to listen to the receptionist's personal conversation on the phone with someone she was obviously not happy with. When I was finally called the assistant took me to a room where she asked what I was being seen for. I explained my situation and instead of her listening to the problem at hand she proceeded to lecture me on how to take my medication. She had no idea what my past situation was but thought it necessary to educate me. At this point I'm wondering if this is a dentist office or a dr's office? So I'm standing there in pain trying to communicate with someone who had no compassion for my situation and only interested in making a point. Finally she abruptly said ok follow me me. Sat me in the X-ray chair and proceeded to put the wing on the wrong side of my mouth. Talk about not listening! At this point I was ready to get up and walk out but wanted to see what the X-ray showed. The general dentist looked at it and couldn't see what was wrong. After tapping on the painful area several times she concluded it was a root canal gone wrong. I could either get a re-do or "just pull it". I asked her to show me on the X-ray where the root was and she pointed to an area where I could see nothing. The guy who does the root canal the-dos was going to be in the office in 2 days. I made an appt to talk to him. An hour before I was going to leave I got a call about changing it. I told them I was going to just go somewhere else for a 2nd opinion. The next day the re-do Dr called to reschedule my appt and before I had a chance to say anything he hung up on me and never called me back. Rude and unprofessional. Oh, and the root canal re-dos are $1000. Never will I go there again. read more

I had a great experience coming to this office. The employees treat you like family and doctors Are caring and take time to explain what treatment is needed. The facility is very kid friendly with a play gym and coloring books and children's books. I would recommend this dentist to my family and friends. Dr. Kim is excellent. read more
