The first time happened a year ago, and then 6 month after, and then 3 months after. Every time, I had a hard time getting a plumber to come and look at the problem. Each time, we had to go to home depot myself/themselves to get an Snake (tool to unclog the pipe), and pay $300-$700 for them to open the pipes. It was a huge disaster. This time, I am very happy that I have called Discount Plumbing. There are several things RIGHT about these guys: 1. They use an Automated (Artificial Intelligence) receptionist that schedules an appointment over the phone. So we got an appointment on Sunday quickly 2. They sent a technician in 2-3 hours after I called them, and the tecnician actually came during the promised window 3. The technician has all the tools needed for the job. He had Snake, Camera and whatever he needed (I think he has $100K+ worth of equipments in his van) 4. Kevin, the plumber, fixed the problem in 1 hour while the previous plumbers would waste 7+ hours to do this. 5. Even though the technician was alone, he was very very competent, and better than teams of plumbers that I have hired in the past 6. Before start doing the job, he clearly mentioned the cost of the job I can not recommend these guys enough! I don't usually give 5 stars to businesses, but these guys are PERFECT!

We had such an incredible experience with Elmer and his partner Silvando! They came out to fix a…read morewater heater issue, and while they were here, I asked Elmer to take a look at a leak in our shower. Elmer called and texted 45 minutes before arriving to give me a heads up, which I really appreciated. We have a 35-lb dog who loves to bark (but is very friendly). Elmer immediately said he loves dogs, gave her lots of attention, and she completely stopped barking. Anyone who is great at their job and an animal lover? That's a winning combination. We had previously been told by a general contractor that it would cost $24,000 to rip out the shower and redo the entire bathroom because of the leak. Elmer went into the crawl space, did a thorough inspection, and determined that none of that was necessary. He fixed the issue for $680. I was honestly blown away. Not only that, but he also inspected all of our bathrooms and toilets and gave us honest feedback about their condition. I truly felt like he was looking out for us and not trying to upsell anything. That level of integrity is rare. They arrived at 8:45 AM and had the water heater replaced and leaks patched by 2:30 PM -- all in one day. I was even able to make it to school pickup with no stress.
