Pineapple cake and tres leches cheesecake

We stopped for a quick sweet treat after a day at the beach. We bought a guava and cheese pastelito and grabbed pineapple cake and tres leches cheesecake to take with us to go. They were all great!

The cutest gem!! Come try a homemade pastry at this place. It won't disappoint. The selection of desserts is endless. I'd go back any day.

Key Largo Pinecrest Bakery is a good place to pop in for delicious Cuban savories and sweets -- if you have time to wait. They need some more employees! Servers were very sweet, but it took a loooooooong time to get a few chicken croquettes and gauva pastatillos. Very delicious, nice plus that they have a drive thru, but it's definitely not a quick stop.

Food is excellent. Everything on menu was explained to us very patiently & recommendations spot on!! Cafe con leche is amazing! Staff friendly warm and inviting. Great way to start our day!

Very sweet and welcoming ladies. Was a last minute thing and definitely glad we came in. Colda was delicious and so many amazing desserts the make your mouth water. Small inside dining area but plenty room outside. And can't go wrong with great Latin music in the background. Great place to find a salty or sweet snack! Yummy

The menu is large. Large enough where anyone will find something to enjoy from there. The staff is friendly but get there before any lunch hour rush crowd because the line can get long. Worth the stop!

I thought this place was terrific. It's a Cuban bakery with outstanding coffee and pastries. Their English isn't the greatest but neither is my Spanish so we made it work. Your coffee might be served in tiny drinking vessel. Relax. This isn't Starbucks. There's a lot of caffeine in this stuff, plus it's delicious. Highly recommended for authentic Cuban coffee and baked goods.

Scrambled eggs were ice cold and lumpy. How can you ruin scrambled eggs! Toast was soaked in butter. Really bad meal!!

Portions were good and flavor for their sandwiches was on point but disappointing that half the ingredients for my Cuban didn't come on it?

During a recent…read moretrip to the Keys we did just that, venturing into Sunrise Cuban Market & Cafe half an hour before closing to select some delicacies to take out and enjoy in our jammies. The staff was very gracious, especially considering the late hour at which we arrived. I was able to practice my Spanish during ordering, including inquiring about vegan options. The lady taking our order was very patient, and carefully packaged everything up securely for the drive home. We ordered white rice, black beans, boiled yuca with mojo sauce, and sweet plantains, and everything was delicious. The rice had more flavor than your typical white rice, the beans and yuca were seasoned perfectly, and the plantains were just bliss. Although we were hungry we still had leftovers for the following day, and after tip the total was $23. For affordable, authentic, delicious Cuban food you can't go much more right than Sunrise.

Key Largo Conch House

Casual. Comfy atmosphere. Friendly staff…read more We started with the Conch House sampler and swapped out the jalapeños for more shrimp and fritters. The sampler comes with two conch fritters, two coconut shrimp, two bacon wrapped items (which we replaced), cracked conch, and lobster and conch ceviche. I have to say this while it's fresh in my mind. The moment I had the lobster and shrimp ceviche, I got chills. Just an incredible burst of flavor. Tiny bit of heat at the end but nothing overwhelming. Just really, really good. The conch fritters are solid too. Chewy, not over breaded, and served with two sauces. One is sweet and one is more of a mayo style. There's also something that eats like a conch curry puff situation. I liked the cracked conch better personally, but both are worth trying. The coconut shrimp is also really good. The sampler also comes with tortilla chips on the side. The lobster bisque is delicious. Great flavor with little chunks of what I'm pretty sure is lobster throughout. Nothing more to add really. It's just good. The mahi and avocado dish has a nice seared taste to it. Not flame broiled exactly, but that kind of grilled sear that you want on fish. The pico de gallo is similar to what came with the ceviche, and it works really well here. All in at $75.

Although the menu was heavy with seafoods, I ordered a club wrap with fries. My lunch partner ordered conch tacos with tortilla chips. The wrap itself was wheat based. It included ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheese with an unknown sauce. It was good but the ham should've been sliced thinner rather than big chunks of ham. The fries were seasoned well. The conch tacos were good. The conch was fried and mixed with picol and red cabbage in a soft tortilla shell. The dish was accompanied by tortilla chips. All was tasty. The staff was knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable.
