Heck, they even have a gas pump available so you really don't have to leave the area. The king room cabin was impressive although a bit outdated. I've never sat on a couch that squeaked that much before. The room we were given had the smallest view of the lake, but nonetheless it was still a peaceful time with the balcony. Staff was friendly through all interactions from an easy check in, assistance with my friend's wedding, to check out. The pool was a great size along with the hot tub and my husband enjoyed both. Parking is plentiful, albeit could be a bit of an awkward angle to park at especially in the 100s cabins. For the price we paid, it was surprising that there were no free water bottles available in the fridge (even 2 would've helped to start us off) and my husband was hungry on a Thursday night but their kitchen was closed early despite the restaurant continuing to stay open for a couple more hours. There's a QR code for late night food delivery that he tried to opt in to and he said that reflected as closed to... so I guess rule of thumb is to bring your own food for emergencies?

Huge shoutout to Kim from the security team, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and took great care of us, even shuttling us back and forth to the Pines Bar a few times. Honestly, every staff member we encountered was awesome. Short stay, great experience, and we'll definitely be back.

I loved the Worldmark Bass Lake as each unit was a 2 story townhouse.  There was nobody above us and I rarely heard the people next to us.  At other Worldmarks I was often woken up by people walking on the floor above us.  I'm not a good sleeper away from home but I got some good sleep here. There is the nearby town of Oakhurst about 15 minutes away which had a good amount of restaurants.  I was impressed there was a street vendor selling half flats of strawberries for $20.  I bought one and was eating strawberries everyday.  Strawberries needed another day or 2 before they were fully ripe.  After I let them sit in the kitchen they were sweet and juicy with lots of strawberry flavor.  Better than supermarket strawberries but not quite as good as my favorite farmers market strawberries. This place is amazing for families, couples, or anyone who loves the outdoors…read more Note - we booked through RCI. Worldmark manages the units on the "otherside of the gate" for RCI. Worldmark units have their own pool, etc, and the RCI units share a pool, parking lot, trash bins with some actual homeowners who live in that same area. They are not very friendly (who can blame them, while we were there a guest drove his truck through someone's backyard.) Forgive the length, but good info here: The unit: We stayed in unit A35, in building 3, closest to the lake but with no lake view. Perfect unit if you want a quiet place to relax and an opportunity to see wildlife. It faces the boat parking lot. Upstairs in the master is a window facing the road. Anyone on the road can see into the window so we just left the blinds closed. No road noise to speak of. There is only 1 shower/tub and it's upstairs, so not technically a 2 bath as stated. With 4 people,  it's a bit inconvenient. Photos show all the room appointments, it was perfect for us. Both bedrooms were upstairs with the full bath.  The lake: Very short 5 min walk to the lake. We easily rolled our kayaks over every morning.  Lake gets very busy, but the water is incredibly clear. We spent hours exploring the shoreline and wetlands. Angel Falls trailhead is also in walking distance from the resort, although there are a few places along the road where there is no shoulder, so its not for the faint of heart. Yosemite Access: Wawona entrance is only 30 min from the lake but it's another hour to get to the main attractions in the park (bridal veil falls etc.) We were here during the Wahburn and Oak fires so we had to use the entrance gate waaaay over on the other side of Mariposa. After 1.5 hours of driving, we then had a 2 hour wait to get in the park. I don't recommend it. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff was friendly and helpful. From the pool to the lake, there are tons of things to do and explore,  enough to keep all ages busy.

There's actually a bus stop to go to Yosemite across the street if you want to avoid the trouble of finding parking, so that's convenient. I tipped the maid and she left me a sweet/professional thank you/welcome note. Again, the cleanliness is what stood out. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The folks working at the counter for the boat rental were friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same thing for the dude's working at the actual boat dock. They gave us weird vibes. Like, have y'all never seen Asians renting a boat? WTF are you guys glaring at? WTF is so funny? It was irritating AF! Thankfully, the time on the water was really fun! The kids had such a good time zipping around on the water and we also rented a tube that we towed off the back of the pontoon boat. Yes, it's not a speed boat, but it was fast enough for the kids to enjoy being towed around. The next day we went back to Miller's Landing to use their public showers. Five dollars for five minutes. Make it quick! The shower's were clean, water was warm, or cold if you prefer, but the line can get long. There is no complimentary shampoo, soap, or conditioner, so be sure to BYO. It was a good option for those of us who were tent camping that NEEDED a shower. Although we didn't dine in the restaurant, we did get drinks, ice cream, and milkshake's from the café, all of which were really tasty. We will definitely plan to incorporate a boat rental, showers, and meals at Miller's Landing when we plan our annual camping trip for next year!

The rugs in the room were gross and worn. The floor in bathroom was warped. The drain in shower was gross and broken. The breakfast milk was spoiled. They were out of coffee. There are street parking spots as well. We spent the day on the shore and didn't have a boat. The best way to enjoy the time is bringing shade, food and water toys. The food available is going to be more expensive but there are spots to grab a meal as well. Many spots require some going up and down, wear shoes you can navigate dirt areas. Boat rental and other on water equipment can be found as well. You can rent cabins and there is a hotel. It's a smaller lake but so much fun!

1/5 - Terrible Experience Due to Strong Pet Urine Odor…read more Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The first room we were given absolutely reeked of pet urine. The smell was so strong that we asked to be moved to another room, hoping it was just an issue with that particular room. Unfortunately, the second room also smelled like pet urine. At that point, we essentially spent the entire night breathing in the odor. Since the hotel windows do not open, there was no way to air out the room or get any fresh air. This is not a smell that can simply be covered up with air freshener or regular cleaning. When pet urine has soaked into carpeting, the carpet and potentially the padding underneath need to be properly treated or replaced. In my opinion, replacing the carpet with a hard-surface flooring such as plank flooring would make a significant difference, especially in a pet-friendly hotel. I understand that hotels allowing pets will occasionally have accidents in rooms, but guests should not be expected to stay in a room that smells strongly of urine--especially after already requesting a room change for the exact same issue. Overall, this was a terrible experience and made it extremely difficult to feel comfortable or enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, based on the condition of both rooms we were given, I would not recommend staying here unless the odor and flooring issues are properly addressed.

I also loved that the air conditioning was already on when we arrived--it made the room feel welcoming and comfortable right away. If you're staying here, I definitely recommend checking out Oakhurst Grill & Whiskey Lounge 41. The steak was delicious! Pandori Express, the Indian restaurant nearby, was also excellent. The continental breakfast was another highlight. The ladies taking care of the breakfast area were absolutely amazing and truly went above and beyond. They worked hard to keep everything clean, organized, and stocked, and they were so attentive to the guests. They really deserve to be recognized for their excellent service. The gentleman who checked us in that morning was also very helpful and provided great customer and suggestions. I would definitely give him five stars as well. I do have a couple of constructive observations that I hope management will take in the spirit intended. In the afternoon, there was a young lady with long hair at the front desk. I didn't get her name, but unfortunately, her customer service came across as though she didn't really want to be there. When you speak with her, she answers the question, but there isn't much eye contact or engagement. There was also no greeting or goodbye. At one point during breakfast, I mentioned to her that the coffee was out. She acknowledged it, but when we were leaving, I checked the same pot and the coffee still had not been refilled. I think some additional customer-service training could be helpful. A simple hello, eye contact, a friendly attitude, and a goodbye can make a big difference in a guest's experience. One other small observation was the bottom of the shower. It had a somewhat dirty appearance. I understand this may be partly due to the type of material or finish used, and I'm not necessarily saying it wasn't cleaned. However, the material seems to hold onto a look that makes the shower floor appear dirty even when it may be clean. It would be great if the hotel could find a better cleaning solution or consider a different finish/material that would eliminate that appearance. Overall, though, I had a good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and accommodating, and I would definitely come back. The breakfast staff and morning front-desk gentleman deserve special recognition for making our stay even better. I'm sharing the positives and the constructive feedback because I think this is a hotel with a lot going for it, and a few small improvements could make the guest experience even better. I would definitely recommend staying here! And the changes this would be a Five Star!

He listed particular pages on the local magazine to consult in case they didn't remember what he said. He isn't just a front desk attendant. He is is a true consierge. I was really surprised to see this service at Express level. He was easily Crowne Plaza or Intercontinental level. The hotel itself was as to be expected. Clean and easy to navigate.

I booked my room with my Pekingese dog and there was a $50 pet deposit for him, which is understandable. The hotel is still relatively new and is clean inside with hardly any traffic. The room is pretty standard with a small desk and reading nook area. I feel like the restroom is spacious, which I appreciate. There are sundries available in the lobby, with a pretty good assortment of products from alcoholic beverages to shaving cream. I have two issues with the property... there is no water available in the room, I find this small detail annoying as there is a kurig available but impossible to use without water. My second issue is the lack of ice machines on each floor. I had to trek up to the 2nd floor for ice, another small but nonetheless annoying inconvenience. Overall I feel the property is nice and the price is decent for the area.

Our room was at the very beginning so no noise at all. The AC was cool and the fan was quiet. We enjoyed the bed and breakfast concept and mingled with the other patrons while we were there. Like if this wasn't enough.. you have free wifi of course, a F1 grill if you like bbq'ing and a HUGE deck if you want to just sit down and stare at the beauty of the pine populated mountains. Super quiet place, clear skies... just 15 mins away from the entrance of Yosemite park. I think its a must to give this place a chance.
