Is that the smallest $15 frozen margarita you've ever seen?
    Niko V.

Terrible. Overpriced, food was bland and portions inconsistent. Drinks were overwhelmed by ice and served in tiny glasses ($15 for a thimble of margarita). Our waiter was new, 2 weeks in, and very nice but he clearly was embarrassed by the prices and the food and drink. After my 3 sips of the $16 Cadillac Margarita I asked if I could have a glass of wine but was informed they only have wine in cans - one red, one white and one rose. It's been a while since I left a review on Yelp but felt the need to warn others. Avoid the Pink Cactus. They could tell we were not impressed by the photos we were taking of the tiny drinks and portions so they brought out churros on the house (nice gesture) but that's not going to save them from a 1-star review.

I didn't get a great picture here, but that's because my experience was not exactly satisfactory at the Pink Cactus. I brought a couple of my friends here who were visiting from out of town on a Friday night. I'm not sure if they were just understaffed or what was going on, but it took almost an hour for us to get our food! We ordered some margaritas which were great, then we put in our food orders. After about 30 minutes I finished my drink and ordered another one. Then another 15-20 minutes went by and we still did not have food. Our server seemed to be frustrated with the kitchen and a little bit with us (even though we didn't complain at all) but she brought my two friends a margarita each on the house, which was nice! We finally got our food after about an hour and it was decent, but not worth an hour wait. When we got our bills I was a little disappointed to see I was still charged for my second margarita when our server had brought my friends one for free because our food took so long. Anyways, this was a long story but basically it was a mediocre experience.

New favorite Mexican spot...the food is outrageously good and the portions are massive. Great people watching sitting outside and cool chill indoor vibes. Good service as well.

Not sure that I would come back here- the service was poor. Our waiter was pretty dismissive and not accommodating to my family and I's requests. I asked for a VERY simple removal on their taco salad (no avocado) and he was like yeah no can't do that. Similarly my dad asked for them to not put the garnished cilantro ontop of his taco and he was like no can't. I understand changing the items on the menu is annoying for the chefs- however these requests were VERY simple and easy to not put on as they are just added when plating the items. The food itself was good- if you order tacos you definitely need to order 3-4 to feel full as they are very small. They have VERY limited seating, you can only eat outside if you are a small party (tables of 2). They have a great drink selection so if you are into various Margarita flavors you should try them out.

Pleasant little place. & when I say little, I mean little! The parking lot only has a few spots so you'll probably have to park somewhere on the street. The food was pretty good however the cauliflower taco is very spicy & the menu does not say anything about that at all! My partner was disappointed in that. The margs were pretty good & a little weak but still tasty! I would definitely come back here again for sure! Plus it's a woman owned business so gotta support!

Cute little Mexical restaurant in downtown Charleston with seating indoors and out. I have dined here on several occasions since they've opened and have enjoyed every visit. The food is all made to order by the owner, Brooke, and her staff. They have specialty meals available on specific days of the week such as their Tuesday Birria plates and Sunday Brunch. And don't sleep on the brunch...Oh Mmm Gee...Delicious!!! Their drinks are on point and I highly recommend the signature margarita. Just go ahead and order a pitcher, trust me! I don't know what else I can say other than great food, great drinks, a welcoming staff and a laid back environment to eat, mingle, and have fun!

we came here for dinner on a thursday night with a reservation and were immediately seated. the hostess and servers were very attentive and kind. the drinks and appetizers came out very quickly. the spicy margs were incredible and the perfect level of spice. we got the appetizer trio and the queso was especially good! I had the shrimp quesadilla as my entree and it was so good. definitely recommend but if you have a large group make sure you have a reservation as it filled up fast!

This is a really cool spot for happy hour. The food was authentic Mexican with the best chips I've ever had. The drinks were beautiful & delicious! This is definitely a cozy place you want to go to catch up with friends for some tacos & tequila. Parking is a little tricky but definitely worth the hassle.

Fresh, light, and tasty. Pink Cactus is one of the few Mexican restaurants that I have really enjoyed frequenting since moving here in 2019.

It felt cozy without being stuffy and was a great spot for people-watching. The cocktails were well made and balanced, and we got lucky enough to snag a table. The space is pretty small though, so by the time we arrived the bar was full and a lot of people were standing with drinks. Even so, the atmosphere was fun and energetic. Definitely a great spot for a nightcap if you're in the area.

(On occasion, I rant about how we need more cocktail bars and wine bars that don't serve food at all or just snacks like nuts - don't get me started.) Last Saint is a really cool dual concept cocktail bar. The front of Last Saint is more casual - small, cozy, allows walk-ins. But you can also make reservations (or try to get lucky walking in) at the Annex. The Annex is their weekends-only cocktail experience in the back of Last Saint. You walk to the back of the bar and press ring the bell by the yellow door. Someone answers and seats at one of six seats at the bar and three small (but private) tables. The Annex is a no-menu experience. The friendly and creative staff ask you questions about your preferences for drinks and then make you something that fits the bill. It was personal and fun, and we enjoyed all the drinks we had. A reservation at the Annex is good for a 1.5 hour time frame, which was perfect for us to have two drinks before closing out and heading to our dinner reservation. We sat at the bar, which I loved, because we got to chat with the staff and watch them make our and others' drinks while we enjoyed our creative cocktails. The staff have a wide knowledge of cocktails and an almost endless supply of ingredients to choose from when making your drinks. A truly fun experience. One I haven't had in any other city. I wish there were more bars like Last Saint!

I think the menu could use a few more options, but what they do offer allows for a wide range of palates. This was one of the reasons we opted for an app and drink. It's definitely different than other places in the area. I do agree with other reviewers that it's a bit crowded and small inside for a typical dinner spot. Our server, Emily, was wonderful, though! I might go here more often as a local, but I'm not sure I'd make another trip as an out-of-towner, although I'd love to see Molly sing here! Sad we missed her.

Free parking on the street is of course, scarce but there is a paid parking lot nearby. Downtown as a whole, needs more accessible parking anywho. Upon walking inside, it's really cute and reminds me of the classier, bougie big sister of a neighborhood bar. Some of the servers were helpful, some not so much. We had a great table right slab dab in middle of the restaurant. There weren't too choices to choose from as a gluten-free girlie but the summer salad with grilled chicken was pretty tasty. Prices aren't terrible but we had no idea that we couldn't pay individually. We all had to send money to the birthday girl and she paid with her card.

On the homepage of La Cave there's a picture of a beef wellington that looks soo good but they don't have it. I was also disappointed with how little our server knew about what was gluten free. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with celiac. Our cocktails were hit or miss. The la cave martini was great but the le jardin was the most bitter cocktail i've ever had and we gave up on it. The deviled eggs were great! The interior is very elegant and bathed in low lighting with soft music playing while you dine. It's a little small so make sure you make those reservations! We started with cocktails, and I ordered the Jean De Florette with vodka, lillet rose, fig syrup, passion fruit, lime, crushed ice, and a fleur garnish. The fig syrup was the star providing a nice sweet and earthy flavor. My wife enjoyed the Harvest in Provence with charred corn mezcal, see the elephant amaro, bonal, lime, simple syrup, and a spiced corn garnish. This drink is so smokey but very refreshing. We were brought a complimentary hors derv which was a house made potato chip with tuna and spices. Really great for getting your palette ready for the coming meal. They only do this from 5pm to 6pm. We have had our eyes on the Raclette Burger Slider for some time. The burger was a good-sized slider, about the same size as a single cheeseburger with tons of ooey gooey raclette cheese smothering it. Of course, we had to order the Pommes Frites to go with the sliders and they arrived super crispy with a nice rosemary-lemon aioli for dipping. The grand finale was the Boeuf En Croute which was their play on a beef wellington. The filet was a nice medium rare with a flaky pastry crust and a delicious sauce bordelaise. A great way to finished. With its beautiful decor, great service and good food I would highly recommend this place for any date night!
