It's the kind that "not too sweet" perfect amount of sugar. I've tried green tea , earl grey and s'more, they are sooooo good. I haven't get to try their cake but the macaron is super cute and again not too sweet, it's just perfect. Gonna continue to try all of the flavor. I usually like to pair it with the pure tea from boba store with low sugar. The combo of this dessert it's just such a treat. read more

I normally give places 4-5 stars because I don't have high standards , but hear me out. My two daughters and I were visiting Irvine and usually go to the cha for tea center by UCI. My daughter got Pink Pig because she wanted to try it but was really disappointed and regretted not going to cha for tea. She ordered a Taro cloud milk with pink honey boba. The boba pearls were okay, but nothing special. The drink was disappointing, as it was not sweet at all- and the cheese foam overpowered the drink! My daughter was upset because she was excited to try this place. They have a nice cake area inside, those looked good. Not the worst ever, but don't think we'll be coming back here. read more

Their fancy-looking cookies are over-priced (3 for $18 with tax!) and frankly not that good. To add insult to injury, if they convince you to buy another one (same over-priced item) because it is "fresh," DON'T believe them. The fresh cookie was even more crumbly and dry than the others. Clearly they would not have been able to sell it the next day and decided to pass it off at full price as "fresh." Totally unethical! read more

Noticed their BOGO $1 promo and decided to try it out. They provide a very similar menu to the Snow Monster location that they've replaced, instead of ice cream they have gelato. Compared to Snow Monster though they have WAY more drink options, ranging from various fruit teas to even a Nutella Milk Tea, which I ended up trying. My girlfriend tried the Black Sugar Milk Tea. Let me start off by saying the customer service was why I refuse to give 4 stars. As a new shop, you would think that making customers feel welcome is a priority. The lady at the counter had an absolutely cold demeanor; from the moment we walked in there was no hello or any form of response, just stared at us the entire time without a single word. After we paid and said thanks, she immediately walked off to make our drinks. We figured she might've not heard us, but when we did receive our drinks, we said thanks again only to receive another blank stare in response. So again not so friendly service. It seemed like she really didn't care to be there, and when we left we caught her silently staring at us, presumably waiting for us to be gone so she could go back to talking with a coworker. Now in contrast to the service, the drinks are pretty good! The richness of the black sugar actually complimented the tea very well, which was also pretty good quality. At 100% sweetness it was a bit too sweet, would maybe go for 50% so the sugar wouldn't overwhelm the tea flavor as much. Still a pretty good balance. As for the Nutella Milk Tea, if you've had Tea Brick's Nutella Shake and liked it you'd definitely like this. It tastes exactly like you'd imagine. They actually blend the Nutella into the milk tea, so while they layer the cup with Nutella (kinda like Omomo's matcha drinks) it's actually also infused with the tea. I liked it, but it's definitely for those with more of a sweet tooth. Both drinks ended up to be around $6, which is nice. So good drinks but poor customer service. This review focuses on Milk Tea but not any other products in Pink Pig. I am a giant fan of boba so I am sensitive to the quality of Milk tea. When Pink Pig came to UTC in 2021, I was so surprised because its boba tea was really great - the flavor and the quality of boba both were so much better than other boba shops in UTC. I recommended this shop to a lot of friends, and Pink Pig was my favorite boba shop until around December 2021. In December 2021, the quality control of this shop declined seriously. Every time I had to pray for getting a milk tea in its normal level. At that time, they began to pour too much non-dairy creamer or change the brand of non-dairy creamer into the milk tea, and made it really disgusting. It made my throat really uncomfortable. Moreover, their Pink pearl became no longer fresh. The pearls were fresh, big, and al dente, but they are now sticky, small, and as soft as an eraser. It's apparent that they cook all the boba in the morning and supply them for the whole day or even for more than one day. I heard that they changed an owner so I tried Pink Pig again and the milk tea was even worse (and the price increased 30%!!!) Other than their evil milk tea, Pink Pig also has the rudest service in UTC. read more

I order boba drinks from Pink Pig from time to time, especially with their nice bogo deal. I've had a great experience every time, until I had the Matcha Uji drink with my boyfriend. Let me tell y'all... Soon after drinking it, we both felt super nauseous. After trying to thug it out, we ended up vomiting in the Albertson's bathroom for 15 minutes. My vomit literally looked like the drink and my throat was burned from how much I threw up. When we got back to the car where we left our drinks, the powder used to make the drink was separated from the liquid, and it was like a 2 inch tall layer. Bro... the matcha flavoring has got to be expired or cheap or something. I've never had that experience with other matcha products or Pink Pig's other drinks. What's even crazier is that a couple months back, my friend and her friend got it too and they both threw up as well. I should've taken that as a warning. First of all I have tried every single drink on their menu. When they first opened they had a buy 1 get 1 free special and my ex and I nearly came here daily on a mission to try the drinks. Jasmine cloud tea is at the top of the list, closely followed by the lavender milk tea. They add the perfect amount of ice to the drinks so that it keeps your drink cold without watering it down and without making you feel like there's so much ice you barely get any drink. It's perfect. Highly recommend! Decor is super cute (they have rocking chairs and their boba is PINK so fun). I'm just sad that they're closed on sundays and mondays and that they changed their hours so they're open for a smaller window of time :-( read more

All of the drinks that are available are dairy free, I tried to ask the cashier to specify what kind of milk but they didn't know all they knew was that it was dairy free. I was walking around the shopping center and the word pink caught my eye. I went inside the shop and saw various different drinks on their menu. Everything looked delicious and I decided to get the Nutella milk tea. My drink was amazing and I really enjoyed it. The combination of the Nutella and milk tea was so satisfying. It was just the perfect amount of sweet. They have various other drinks on their menu that I would love to try. They also have a selection of gelato ice cream that I was very tempted to try. I absolutely love this place! They do what a lot of Boba places do and give you a stamp card, but you only need to get five to get a free one! The milk tea from here is really good. Inside it is always so clean and cute. The employees are quick and well organized. You order on an iPad kiosk, which is great if you're shy like me. Staff and service were cordial and fairly quick, especially considering this is a new shop. My review concerns the tea drinks! I got the Passion Lime (Green Tea) and my brother got the Hokkaido. My brother enjoyed his Hokkaido very much so I'm sure it's a good drink. Said the tea flavor wasn't too strong, which many people look for in a Hokkaido. My Passion Lime was at 25% sweetness but I still felt it was too sweet. It had real lime, but the passion fruit was clearly a syrup. Fruit syrups are one of my pet peeves! Still, it didn't make the drink inedible - just too desert-like for my tastes. The pearls though... why I'm taking off two stars. It was so hard, clearly old, and the honey coating added a sickening flavor to my drink. When I avoided the pearls, my drink tasted so much better. I will still return to try their other drinks, but maybe with no pearls. Incorrectly cooked or old pearls make me seriously ill. read more
