Fun stop in Hillsdale mall. The Peach Oolong Boba Milk Tea and Peach Dream soft serve were both good, especially the soft serve. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty quickly. Would come back to try some of the other drinks.
Hit Hillsdale Mall while in the San Mateo snd stopped by tris place upon my sister's recommendation and I am glad I did. They had delicious matcha and boba drinks. They are super clean and friendly and didn't even charge us for the cute pink bag to take away our purchase. They are not in the immediate food court area, just a few stalls down so there's no crowding when trying to order. If you like boba and matcha, and are in the Hillsdale Mall, this is the place to stop!
Came here on a weekend morning and the place had a bit of a line, but otherwise service was solid. We didn't get a drink and shared a little pudding which honestly was very delicious - not bad in portion size and you can keep the glass! They actually encourage it a bit as well which is nice to keep trash down. Price was a little high, but it was a solid sweet treat and super tasty - would recommend!
Sis and I were in search of a sweet treat when she suggested Pink Pink. First time for me. Ordered the Strawberry Peach which was quite enjoyable - not too sweet and the peach flavor really comes through. Also, had to give their Pinko-nut (coconut puddings) a try. Ordered a Mango Mochi & Coconut one for me and a Taro Ube Milk & Coconut one for the kiddo. The mochi on top of the pudding was definitely different; gave it a unique texture. I liked the flavors. Kiddo must've liked his too since he just ate it up and didn't even share.

Pink Pink Tea Shoppe seems to focus on a lot of peach flavored drinks but on our visit for a quick grab and go, we got a bag (that also had a built in drink holder) of three drinks including a bubble milk tea that had a rich tea taste and chewy boba. We didn't partake in the cheese top drinks as we aren't huge fans of the trend but they also seem to have a few options on their menu for those seeking it out. Pricing was comparable to other shops and value was pretty industry standard. Service was quick and efficient, not much to boast about but it was respectable. Overall, if you're a fan of peach and anything pink, this tea shop is your jam and will certainly satisfy those cravings with refreshing milk teas. Besides peach, I didn't find Pink Pink to stand out too much in the other drinks and although delicious, I thought it was pretty cookie cutter. With a well populated field of milk tea cafes, it's tough to get ahead of the pack but they've definitely found their niche with the plump, pink fruit. Having simple, eye popping marketing helps too!
I finally tried Pink Pink! Lol... I was at the mall with my sister since we watched Freakier Friday at Cinepolis so then afterwards we walked around the mall. We stopped by Pink Pink to get some boba! I never tried Pink Pink before, but I always pass by it whenever I'm at ValleyFair. I got the Pink Peach drink while my sister got a Mango Tea, I think. I love the Pink Peach drink. It's like drinking a yummy peach candy. Lol.. I'm a fan! I definitely will hit up Pink Pink as one of my boba places rotation now. :)
Stopped by on Monday, 09/01/25 (Labor Day Holiday). Located at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, CA. my sister ordered the following for us (and sharing with our mom too!): - 1 peach dream soft serve = 6.99 - 1 strawberry matcha latte = $6.50 The wait time was a bit long - lots of customers yet few employees making drinks, taking orders, etc. We probably waiting around 15-20 minutes. The soft serve was okay.
I waited over 15 minutes for a Cotton Candy Ice Cream, having to follow up three times. My order was forgotten at first, then delayed with excuses about the machine, and when I asked to cancel politely, the staff dismissed me with, "It hasn't even been that long." The ice cream was finally rushed out in minutes but poorly made, sliding off the cone as it was handed over. I understand they were short-staffed, but the lack of care and customer empathy was disappointing. Plus the drinks and ice creams are not very fresh! Scaled too fast, quality down!

However, I prefer the SMLs at Boba Guys and Boba Drive. The staff there is friendly and helpful, however. It is a walk up front so there is no seating available.
Pink Pink Tea Shoppe is my current favorite boba shop, as someone who lives in this area. I live next to over 20 different boba shops within a 10 minute drive, and this is the one after trying them all. It's a little sad considering they're a small bay boba chain that exists only in malls at the moment, but I don't mind since I'm pretty sure their first location was at Westfield Valley Fair and they are a woman-owned business, so I'm all for supporting local Chinese women! They even now have a location in Vegas, so they got me when I travel! This location at the Hillsdale mall is located on the 2nd floor, a little walk away from the food court and across the Uniqlo. What separates them from other tea shops in the area? Consistency, aesthetics, and taste. Pink Pink has a commitment to using organic and fresh ingredients, and it shows in their drinks. It's good when menu options are limited as specialization tends to make things taste better, but I do wish there were just a couple more options. I get a sense sometimes that their products are geared towards mall crowds, which tends to be families with children. This brings in the creamier and sweeter drinks along with the slushes - not bad, just not my preference. My favorite drinks from Pink Pink are the fruit teas. The generous fruit purees always taste fresh, and they make seasonal menu changes from time to time. I tend to like anything with peach, grapefruit, and strawberry. I like how you can get their fruit teas in tea slush form as well, but it does quell the fresh fruit essence as well as make it harder to drink. I do have gripes with the pink peach, and that is with how weak the oolong strength is (I assume they use peach oolong) and that it tastes like artificial Sanrio peach gum. Their green tea is much better for tea strength. The milk teas are solid, though I prefer other places for milk tea. The new limonada slushes are tasty and pretty looking frozen lemonades. The tornados taste like extra creamy drinks. I do not recommend their matcha drinks because I did not like the quality or strength of it, and it was a bit dull and chalky. Their cheesefo is popular, but not my preference; only get it if you like having cream cheese whip on top of your drinks. The cream tastes a lot better when it's mixed in the drink, such as the strawberry peach, opposed to being a layer on top. Their boba consistency is typically good with a strong chew -sometimes it's a little harder than I'd like, but it's never been bad. The agar boba is lumpy. The ice cream (soft serve) is alright - maybe a bit subtle. The Hokkaido vanilla tastes like an airy whipped cream, while the peach dream is a sherbet that tastes like Sanrio gum. The cones don't have too much flavor, but they're light and crispy. I actually really like their PINKO-NUT because it's cheaper than a local competitor in a greater serving size. The taste is also just as good - it's a delicious and refreshing coconut pudding with various toppings. I would recommend their original milk & coconut flavor or the mango mochi & coconut. So if you're wondering whether to go to Sharetea or Pink Pink Tea Shoppe, I'd go Pink Pink all the way. You just need to order the right thing, which can be different based on your taste preferences. They state that they use less sugar than normal, but it's all the same to me - I get 25% sweet anyways. They have a loyalty program if you order using your phone number, but you need Cash App to track it.

Hits: * Strawberry Peach was super delicious! I love fruity drinks and I love how very well blended the strawberry and peach was. I also really liked the fruit chunks. * Oreo Brûlée Dream was tasty if you're in the mood for an Oreo drink. It's good to try! Final Verdict: Solid 4/5. The shop was very cute and the worker was super friendly and made us laugh. He handed us our drinks and we were satisfied with what we ordered. I will definitely order the Strawberry Peach again if I'm ever in the area!
I've tried pinkpink 2-3x before from various locations, trying to give it multiple chances but I've been disappointed yet again :/ I was craving something fruity/refreshing and thought that nothing could go wrong with a mango green tea. Like it's a mango green tea no way you can mess that up... I got the drink with 75/80% sweetness because the previous time I've gotten a fruit drink at the normal 100% sweetness, it was wayyy too sweet. I'm someone with a sweet tooth and the sweetness before felt like I was drinking purely sugar with a hint of fruit flavors. This time the drink tasted like water with just hints of mango. I was aware there were mango chunks in the drink but it felt like I was drinking 75% of that and 25% of the tea.. I'm not sure what went wrong during the process of making this classic drink but it has confirmed that pink pink tea shoppe isn't for me. My friend got the strawberry matcha latte and she too said it was very disappointing :/ There wasn't too much flavor and only the taste of strawberry chunks.
I stopped by for a quick team when roaming around in Hillsdale mall. Storefront is small, but this place is popular. There was a line in front. I went for a Brown sugar boba matcha latte. That was really good. Bobba was soft. Flavors were balanced.
So I was walking around hillsdale shopping center when I started feeling parched. The nearest boba shop was pink pink tea shoppe. I got the taro tornado and it was not bad. The boba was very chewy. Don't know about their other drinks but I wouldn't recommend the taro tornado. Definitely has that powder taro flavor if that's what you're going for, which I actually do like. read more

Tried Pink Pink and got their Taro Tornado after seeing it pop up a few times. The drink looked great visually, but the taste was a bit underwhelming. The taro flavor was mild and leaned more sweet than rich or earthy. I was hoping for a stronger, more natural taro taste, but it felt somewhat diluted once everything was mixed together. Texture wise, it was okay, though the "tornado" swirl didn't really add much beyond presentation. Service was fine and the shop itself is clean and cute, which makes it a decent spot to stop by if you're already in the area. Overall, not bad, but not memorable either. I might try a different drink next time, but the Taro Tornado alone wouldn't bring me back. read more

I got the Brown Sugar Boba Milk and thought it was pretty good. I usually get it extra sweet but there was an additional charge of $1.25 for it. But even without the extra sweetness I thought it tasted great. The service was also good. The guy behind the counter was offering to answer questions and the ambiance was cute for a mall boba shop. The drinks here are good, but the Pinko-Nuts are sooo yummy I keep coming back. My go-to drinks are the Cheesefo Matcha Latte and the Black Pink Boba Milk Tea. But my favorite part about this place are the coconut puddings! I especially love the Strawberry Milk & Coconut and the Mango Mochi & Coconut. Super cute dessert shop on the 2nd floor of the Hillsdale Mall that is in fact, very pink as the name alludes to. I decided to order the Mango Mochi & Coconut pudding ($10.99) since it sounded interesting. +Comes in a cute reusable mason jar +Not too sweet or heavy -Slightly hard to scoop: The top layer is mochi mixed w/milk pudding, so it springs back when you try to scoop it. *Verdict: Fun dessert with a variety of textures and flavors that's large enough to share. read more
Came here completely by accident. Took me 45mts to find it walking in circles around this indoor outdoor mall. Plenty of parking and had to walk through a random shop to enter the mall and then just walked until I finally found it. Didn't see any maps or legends or information kiosks. I literally was giving up and starting to walk back to my car and looked up and found it. Not sure what's allowed but better signage from both directions would be wonderful. There was a lot of signage from the direction I hadn't been in. Staff was friendly enough but more worried about chatting with their friends that came up rather than helping customers. Menus small but they make drinks to your liking. The highlight was the cotton candy, had not had one in eons and it really brought me back. Need a recyclable paper bag option though so you can set it down while driving. I had to scarf it instead so that I could drive safely... kind of killed the vibes of nostalgia. read more

Found this place by accident with some friends while walking around the mall area. While I was tempted to try out the boba, the counter had a picture of ice cream with cotton candy surrounding the top. I knew immediately that I needed to try this out because aesthetically it looked beautiful. After ordering through the kiosk, the workers quickly handed over my ice cream cone within a few minutes. The ice cream was sweet, smooth, creamy, and nicely blended. The cotton candy was as good as it gets, so overall you're eating ice cream with cotton candy on the side. This location is quite far from where I live, but if I'm ever in the area I would want to try out the boba and maybe the Hokkaido milk ice cream. If you're ever in the area it's worth checking out since there are a lot of stores to visit while walking around. read more
My friend helped me pick up a drink (Strawberry Fantasy) so this review is based on just that takeout item and not the store ambiance. STARS -Drink pretty tasty; almost like eating a drink version of strawberry Pocky -Cones with bag with drink holders STAIRS -Wish there was more strawberry chunks and stronger strawberry flavor -Price seems high for $6.50 per drink (not including tax) -Uses straw that look like plastic (not biodegradable) TIPS -Bring your own reusable straw! I had seen Pink Pink Tea Shoppe in various places but never tried their products before. I recently heard their peach soft serve was really good and wanted to try it myself. They were really busy over the weekend at Hillsdale. I was able to order up front at on one of their two kiosks and opted for the peach and Hokkaido milk soft serve mix (about $6). I was pleasantly surprised at how rich and flavorful the soft serve was. It was perfectly sweet and you could really taste peach flavor as well as the creamy milk. I liked the option to get both flavors mixed together opposed to just picking one. Definitely would get this again as a refreshing treat! read more
Ive been wanting to try this for a very long time. It happened to come across one. Very cute shop. I love all the pink decor. I opt for a Matcha drink with Brulé however, both the matcha and brulee were pretty mid in flavor. The flavor profile didn't really come through for me. I also got it less sweetened so there wasn't much of a taste at all to be honest. It was also very pricey, in my opinion for what it was. Overall I think the 3 of us all agreed that the drinks were very mid. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to get boba here. I do like their pink decor and vibes it's definitely cute! While shopping at Hillsdale, I stopped here to get a refreshing drink. It's just a small little shop, easy to walk past. You can order at the counter or at the kiosk--either way works, your order comes out quickly. My first time here I got their signature drink and it seemed a bit lackluster and tasted "meh"--there could have contributing factors, still too new & close to the mall closing time. Fast forward to this visit and I was quite surprised at how delicious it tasted. I got the Thai Tornado with reduced sweetness and it was super yummy. The presentation was amazing with its layering--very tornado-like. I'm glad this shop is here, as another option and it's not near the food terrace either. I would definitely come back. read more

Today was a fruity boba kind of day. I got the pink peach, mango mochi pudding, and peach with milk soft serve. Pink Peach - I like my drinks regular sweetness (100%), but their regular is way too sweet. It was also their recommended sweetness level. The drink is really good so if you adjust it to 50% or so, it'll be amazing. Peach & Milk Soft Serve - Melted almost instantly...flavor was rich but too sweet. Mango Mochi Pudding - They're really generous with the mango puree, however, it's too sweet. The mochi and coconut pudding was just right and delicious! You can order from the kiosk instead. Cute new boba shop in Hillsdale Mall. Maybe there is finally some competition to the Sharetea here! I tried their regular black milk tea with boba and thought it was okay. My spouse thought the drink tasted too chocolate-like for him which is interesting. I did feel like the tea tasted a little chalky but it was mostly palatable. I didn't really like the agar boba they used though - the boba is very lumpy and I like my boba to be smooth round balls haha. I don't recall seeing another boba option though. This place seems to specialize in fruit drinks though so I might try one of those next time to see if those are better. read more
