I thought I had requested the shellac pedicure which online is an hour and 15 mins but turns out they booked me for a classic pedicure plus gel polish (only 30-45 mins). There was an 8 minute massage but felt more like being pet and my nail tech was pretty distracted by her Apple Watch and texting on it. Was disappointed because I thought it was longer and not the best massage plus no scrubbing of calluses. I like how it's a women owned business and it had a calming atmosphere. BOTTOM LINE: FIND ANOTHER BETTER STUDIO IN SEATTLE. HIGHLY OVERRATED. OVERBOOKED OFTEN - RUSHING THROUGH SERVICES AND LACKING HUMAN CENTERED CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had booked a 12 PM appointment, but two days beforehand it was moved to 3 PM without checking my availability, but they did leave me a voicemail. They said that my nail tech was not available at noon and so therefore, they moved it at 3 PM so that I could be with my preferred nail tech. Prior to the appointment I reached out via multiple calls to confirm if I could get my preferred simple design, no one ever responded. Upon my arrival, Amy at the front desk was dismissive--She said that I should have kept calling, or messaging them via social because they are busy. I proceeded to inquire about my nail design to which she replied that they couldn't do it and could possibly come back the next day... Turning my appointment into two separate appointments. I had already rescheduled time at work to be able to make this appointment so I was upset that they were asking me to come back another day. I kept my appointment and just request requested to have everything removed. Then she sent the wrong technician, until I again requested to have my original technician per the notes from my original appointment. To which they reply that my nail tech wasn't available... she was in the nail salon, but working on another client. So I mentioned that this was not what was said in the voicemail they left (which I still have) --in any case nobody could execute the design and there was no point in me getting my nails filled... If I wasn't able to get the design, I would've loved to know ahead of time to come prepared with another option for my nails. At the end of the day when you get hybrid gel and they do all that buffing/ filing with their machines it ruins the nail bed. So my nails are now VERY THIN and the nail bed is damaged with no color nor design. Honestly, I just wanted to get everything removed so I would never have to come back here again until I'm able to find another nail tech or salon that actually cares about their customers. At checkout, Amy tried to bill me $80 for a removal service that was originally quoted at $22. I then asked for a price adjustment considering my actual service and she took off $20 so I ended up paying $60 -WOW! Amy then refused to provide the owner's contact information saying that I could dig through their website to file a complaint. To be honest, this is my second time returning as a customer, as I've had similar experiences in the past, but thought that maybe over the past years, they've changed...on top of all of this I had worked to grow my nails and had been a consistent returning customer and expected to continue being a ongoing customer, considering I found the nail technicians that I liked. However, due to this and how often they make me feel rushed I will not be coming back. They often make you feel rushed, uncared for, and unprofessional, and I will neither return nor recommend this salon. read more

Great overall experience for my niece and I to celebrate our birthdays. The decor is adorable with fancy chandelier lighting and bright wall colors. The color selection and design options seemed endless. Jasmine took great care in making sure my dip removal and new dip application was painless, and near perfect. I enjoyed the pedicure with parafin and the heavenly scented scrub. Dip unfortunately never lasts beyond a week due to my thin frail nails, but the experience is worth every penny. Pros: Convenient location. Easy parking. Walk-ins welcome. Cons: Unskilled staff. Rude staff. I came here for a mani/pedi. There were two staff members who completed the service. Both did a bad job when cutting cuticles. They pinched and ripped instead of cutting. This led to a lot of blood and obvious injury that was apparent for days. What's worse, the staff are very rude. The staff member completing my pedicure was speaking badly about me but didn't know that I understood what she was saying. The other staff member warned her that I understood and she stopped, but didn't apologize. Very, very unprofessional. FYI, I was not given a discount for the botched cuticle care, as the owner has since commented. The best part of this visit was having a Thai Iced Tea while she worked on my nails. But my 2nd visit was with a different technician, Lena, who was wonderful! I very rarely write reviews, but the service was so bad I want to share. I've been coming here for 3 years and they've gotten more busy to the point that it feels like a conveyer belt of nail appointments. Last time I got a gel manicure, i asked the technician to smooth the surface of one of the nails (the gel was lopsided due to her putting 4 layers, probably because the polish was not opaque enough) and she got upset at me, quite literally threw her hands up, and started working on another client. I was really shocked, and tried to tell her that she had otherwise done a good job. Then the manager got passive aggressive with me too. I've been looking for a local nail salon to replace driving 30 minutes to my tried and true salon. I decided to try Pink Polish due to the many positive reviews, photos, and its convenient-to-me location. The Pros: I liked the ability to book an appointment online and parking was a non-issue because they have a parking lot, which is a gem in Seattle. I booked a shellac mani and pedi and when arriving to my appointment, I immediately loved their color selections. I was even offered white wine during my service. Things went downhill pretty quickly from there. I had one nail tech working on my mani and one on my pedicure. I guess they assumed that I didn't understand Vietnamese because they spent the majority of my two-hour appointment making derogatory, rude, and at times racist comments. The nail tech finished my mani, and someone else came over to keep the person doing my pedicure company and the comments continued. To name a few: When cutting my cuticles, the nail tech told the other person sitting and keeping her company "just cut these out, they are like duck feathers. They are dumb and don't know any better." Another time she stated, "Their skin is thick like a dog". After my nails and feet were done, I was thanked and asked how everything was. I said my nails looked great but I would not be back because of the rude and racist comments. I was then told, "I apologize if you misheard anything". First, that is not an apology. Second, I didn't mishear anything. I heard and understood everything being said about me, and other customers the entire time. Skill-wise, they did a phenomenal job on my nails. However, I will never come back due to the rude staff and derogatory, racist comments they make about their customers while smiling in their faces thinking that their comments can't be understood, and their lack of accountability when being called out about their rude and unacceptable behavior. read more

I liked how you could make online reservations and that the whole the whole team was so efficient. 90 percent of the chairs were filled the entire time, and it did not feel cramped or harried at all. I brought an elderly friend to get a mani/pedi, without any notice, on a busy Saturday. I didn't really expect that they would be able to accommodate us. However, they were extremely friendly and helpful, asking appropriate questions about my friend's health. They were able to fit her in within five minutes, and got going on her nails immediately. They were done within an hour, and we were on our way. My friend was exceptionally pleased, and so was I! Both her fingernails and toenails looked wonderful, and the people there were great... Super cute and clean spot! I feel like it's rare these days to come across a decent nail salon. To my surprise, my friend and I were able to book a last minute pedicure appointment on a Sunday. I opted into a shellac pedicure with a shellac take off and the service went decently well. The technician was friendly and they offered me a complimentary drink where I opted for a mimosa. I thought that my pedicure could have gone better. There was extra polish on the side of my nail beds that made it look pretty sloppy. The other downside is that the polish began peeling less than two weeks later. I am used to shellac pedis lasting for about a month. For the OK job, I was stuck with paying $65. The price point didn't seem fair to me so don't think I will be returning. read more

This was my second time coming in for a shellac manicure. The first time I went I absolutely loved how my nails came out. I have been doing my own gel manicures from home for about 7 years. I take so much pride in my long, strong and healthy natural nails. my first visit they were very gentle and took attention to detail and it lasted me about a month letting nails just grow and get stronger. This second time around, I got a different technician and I am aware that all use different techniques they practice, however this technician treated my natural nails as acrylic. Used the little drill machine to remove my shellac with such roughness that many times it caught my actual nail and caused some burning. After that she used a filer to file away the soaked polished, grinding down my nail beds. She then again used the drill, to remove my cuticles and sand down my nails even further. Once the final top coat was curated, she grabbed a filer and filed the sides leaving edges of the polish to already be chipped off. My nails have never been this thin in my life and it is super upsetting because it is not easy to maintain them as healthy as they were. They're literally thinner than paper and I feel I paid for a manicure that is set up to not even last long with how brittle my nails left leaving that salon. I will say the customer service is great, the front desk ladies heard me out and offered what they could, which was 15% off my next visit, but sadly I don't think I will be coming back after this. read more

Got 2 appointments same day. I am visiting from Cali and it's my daughters first Mother's Day's so I wanted to treat her to something special. We both hit their $80 pedi with a 20 minute massage...that sold us! When we got there, I added a mani for my daughter. OMG! Worth every penny. The ladies started with these jelly things in super warm water. We soaked for a little bit then they started doing the pedicure. There was a series of creams they used then a scrub and paraffin. The ladies did an amazing job!!! Staff was very welcoming and kind. Offered us drinks and consistently asked if we needed anything. My daughter lives in Seattle..I know where to send her when she needs a treat! Facility is very clean and polish options are huge. The massage chairs are strong and made the hour and a half pedi that much better. I will definitely get a pedi when I come back for a visit. read more

I docked a star because I think that even a basic manicure is expensive, which wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't ALSO charge to take off the gel or dip that THEY PUT ON. Overall pretty good! Easy to schedule, nice people, clean space. My gel manicure felt a little rushed - the manicurist didn't wait for the nail lamp to time out before putting on another coat, so at certain points the gel was still wet when adding another layer. I've been going to Pink Polish ever since their grand opening. For the most part, I really liked the salon. Everyone including the owner was nice, the salon was new and shiny, and there was an abundance of parking in the old New Season's lot. I knew I was paying a premium, but for me, it was worth it given the newness of the salon. However, I've noticed that the salon has gone on a downhill trajectory. Color selections are lacking, the massage chairs now have tape to hold them up, some of the technicians do not properly wear their masks, and just on Friday, I had one of the worst gel manicures of my life. As seen from photos posted, the technician could not for the life of her paint my nails to its entirety. I pointed it out and had her fix four different fingers and they were still not filled out. Not only that, but they were also different shades and had air bubbles in them! Eventually, I gave up because it was clear I wasn't going to get good services. I left feeling defeated and disheartened. Someone (albeit a guy) even asked me later that day why my freshly painted gel manicure looked like it was peeling off. That's how terrible it was. So in conclusion, while this was once upon a time my favorite nail salon, I can no longer recommend this place as you are paying a $10-15 dollar premium, but for very substandard services. read more

I bought my friend a gift card to Pink Polish because of the positive reviews for nails and waxing, and because they mentioned they are LGBT friendly. I was severely disappointed to find out they refused to provide my friend waxing services because she's trans, and they "aren't confident in their ability to provide waxing services to men." They agreed to provide a refund when I spoke with them over the phone back in May and told me to send an email with the details. I have sent multiple emails and have never received a response. Major health/cross contamination/disease concerns - My cuticle got cut which was not a problem BUT she grabbed teal liquid and a Q-Tip to stop the bleeding and proceeded to put the end that she wiped my blood off with back onto the nozzle of the teal color liquid- they also do not clean their tools after using them on each person - the French tip nails overall were decent but I ended up having to file and redo them myself a few days later because it wasn't fully what I asked for and think they def do better with actual designs.
