What a nice a little pizza spot! The price of $4.50 is a little steep for a single slice, and $1 more per topping. however, the pizza was wonderfully balanced. I loved how crispy the crust was. The sauce was rich, but not overpowering. The atmosphere had a warm, family, welcoming feel. The staff were very friendly and professional. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely want to try their sausage pizza and some desserts! 3*** = Just Okay 4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

On our last night in Phoenix, we decided to stay in and order pizza. My sister and her husband recommended Pino's, so we went with that. We got two pizzas: the Bianca and a classic pepperoni. The crust was thin with a nice crisp on the bottom and around the edges, which I really liked. The Bianca is a white pizza, so no tomato sauce. It came with garlic, tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and extra virgin olive oil. It was so flavorful and fresh. I'm usually not a big fan of pepperoni, but I tried a slice and ended up loving it too. For dessert, we had to try the cannolis since everyone kept saying how good they were. They were amazing. The shell was crispy, the filling was creamy and not too sweet. Definitely worth getting. Everything arrived warm and fresh, which made the night even better. It was the perfect way to end our trip

Stopped by Pino's for lunch with a friend. I had never been here before and the parking lot was small but we were early so it didn't matter. As we walked in, the staff was friendly and greeted us. We ordered a couple slices of pizza and sat down. The restaurant is good sized with lots of tables. We didn't have to wait long and our slices. I was amazed at how big the slices were, they are huge! The pizza was good and had lots of pepperoni on them. My friend said he's had the calzones before and they're really good too. I will definitely be back to try other things.

Best mom and pop Italian Restaurant in the valley. The portions of food are just like you see here, LARGE! Service is quick considering they make it fresh. General ambiance is Italian, nothing fancy, but straight forward. I am a fan for life!

Stopped by here for lunch, a nice little place. I ordered for the pasta Alfredo chicken, the pasta was quite creamy and a large portion as well. My friend tried the pepperoni pizza, as you can see it's a large slice. But what was the best thing we had was the tiramisu, it was really tasty and felt authentic and again it was a pretty large portion as well. The service was quite fast. The place wasn't really that crowded during lunch on a weekday. I noticed a lot of people doing take out as well.

First of all, I found it strange that the restaurant was a sit-down establishment and they still had a counter for ordering. Second, when my food arrived, the chicken Parmesan was overcooked and dried. I wouldn't recommend the chicken Parmesan sandwich because the chicken Parmesan itself looked like a complete mess, as if it didn't have enough sauce.

The pizza was fire. If you are trying to get down and dirty on some pie this is the place. Crunchy thin crust great sauce and just the amount of grease. Perfect football Sunday pizza. Cesar salad was great as well. Service was friendly.

The pizza was beyond delicious. The crust was so flavorful. I had the prosciutto rucola, such a great combo of flavor! Arugula, parmesan, and prosciutto. That pizza will never fade from my go-to list of happy memories!

A friend wanted to take me to lunch for my birthday so I was checking what was near my office. I hadn't yet been to Pino's but pizza sounded good so we decided to go there. After looking over the menu, we both decided calzones sounded good. Spinach and cheese is my favorite so that's what I decided on, and my friend asked for chicken and mushrooms in hers. (They have a good selection of toppings to choose from.). From the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall. There is a good sized seating area inside. It's fairly simple, but clean. You order at the counter, they give you a number and you can grab a table and wait for them to call your number. The calzones are HUGE! You could probably feed a family of 4. We both had plenty left to take home. The cook was perfect! It's not always easy to get them cooked all the way thru, but this was completely cooked. And very tasty. The spinach and cheese does not have sauce inside which was fine with me. I've had them other places where the tomato sauce inside completely dilutes the flavor of the spinach and cheese. But every calzone comes with a cup of marinara. It looks like they also sell individual pizza slices which is always great for a quick lunch, so I'm sure I'll be stopping into Pino's again. It's right near my office, so they may see me fairly regularly.

First time at Pino's Pizza in Central Phoenix. Early weekend lunch with family and friend. Tried the Cheese and Four Cheese pizzas. The Four Cheese had Gorgonzola cheese which is like a bleu cheese with a pungent acquired taste. The Cheese Pizza was exceptional. I'll be back to try some additional menu items.

The prosciutto pizza is very very good. However the other pies are not. And the last time I went in they straight ignored me for 20 minutes until I ended up leaving. No menu. No drink order. Nothing. It was not busy there were 2 other parties there on a weekday. I felt like I was literally ignored so I will not be going back. read more

First time here at Pino's and I'll tell you very fresh, very tasty and awesome! The service was excellent! Brought us our csptese salad with a few pieces of fresh Italian baked bread. So good. We asked for some butter and it was so delicious!! The pizza came out hot and looking beautiful! So good we got the carnivore and the Hawaiian! Both were very tasty and delicious! Love this place. Delicious cheesy pizza! I've had this place saved forever and the last time I wanted to go it was a Sunday and closed! So I'm glad I got to come today. We ordered over the phone so it was ready when we got there and ate it outside. My husband and I shared a cheese pizza, which is what we typically get! It was ready on time and pretty hot! The cheese pull was fantastic though it was sliding off the pizza. It is very cheesy but not over the top. The sauce flavor was tasty too, and I loved the crust. Got some ranch to dip my crust and that was delicious too. Price was what I would expect to pay at a place like this. Kinda no frills inside, definitely more of a place to get pick up but it was awesome and I'd totally come back! Not busy at all for a Saturday night either. read more

We arrived when they just closed for business that day by mistake and the owner technically chase us to the parking lot to tell us he would serve us, after back and forth he convinced us to stay and let me tell you there is 0 regrets, food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and the attentions we received from him were at a high level. We've been there 3 times after that, Pizza is great, salads are great, pasta is great, good portions and fresh made. I wish other businesses remembered the importance of customer service. I recommend this place 100% read more

Yes , yes, and yes, Oh boy I'm stuffed. Ive always passed by this place for the longest time and I always tell myself I'm going to try it sometime. Today was the day and worth the wait! Ordered take out while in the hospital and husband got there right in time for it to be ready. By the time we dug in (within 10mins) the pizza bottom was so soggy the topping were falling out. It was still very Delicious and packed with flavor, but wasn't a fan of the sogginess. The tortellini with Alfredo sauce was good but i wish the bread pieces were softer and not one of the ends. Great place for a slice of pie Pino's is a great place for a slice of pizza. Their slices are huge at just $4.50 a slice. The pizza was fresh and hot. Good crunch on the crust, and service was great. I wish my slice was cooked just a tad but longer, as all the cheese wasn't completely melted. Pino's is authentic italian food, it's local, it's handmade, it's wallet friendly, and it is really very good. When you visit Pino's, chances are that Pino himself is there making your food. Give Pino's a try; you won't be disappointed. read more

We have been looking for good bread & pizza, we found it!! We started off with the Caprese Salad, which was delicious, including the bread served with it! The owner happened to be there and we had a very nice conversation with him. I complimented the mozzarella & bread with the salad & we were waiting on the pizza. The pizza was good, but very heavy on the cheese. When he learned we were from NY, he said if he knew that, he would have made the pizza LOL. Many prefer extra cheese apparently. He did give us a loaf of bread to take home with us, which was so nice! We did enjoy that bread with a dipping sauce I made! Looking forward to going back! Casual pizzeria vibe. read more

Quality New York pizza with a great crust big slices and I'm glad I found this place. I live in the East Valley and there isn't much out here in the way of classic New York Pizza as a true pizzaioli I know. Even reheated at home on my pizza stone adding some fresh basil and some Parmesan took it to the next level. Only gave it four stars because I have not tried anything else any toppings or any other food but a classic cheese is my favorite and the way to go read more

The food itself is always delicious and worth 5 stars (regardless if its pizza, pasta, etc) but the young woman with long brown hair who attends the register is so unreasonably rude whenever we go to sit in or for a to-go order. I'm always very polite and kind to her but she returns the kindness with such negativity. I don't know what her problem is but it's bothered me enough to leave this review since it's happened multiple times now. read more

For slices, they only have a cheese thin crust, and a Sicilian. One day they only had the cheese thin crust which was strange. They should definitely have more options for customers. The pizza is okay, the Sicilian is slightly better. The desserts were definitely tastier than the pizza. My coworked loved their Tiramisu, while I loved their Cannoli! We'll be back for the desserts for sure! The place is decorated with a mix of pop art and Italian rustic charm. It would seem more authentic with less pop art, and more Italian art. Oh and there's a real candle in the restroom which is a nice touch, especially since people lean towards electric candles nowadays. read more

If you're looking for the best Italian food in the valley, then you have found it. Where do I begin? Homemade bread, pizza, and pasta sauces are delectable. Delicious pizza. Crust is airy and crispy and the sauce itself is flavorful. They also served by the slice. Customer service is always great. Wow! This is a great little pizzeria! I walked in an instantly loved the ambiance and the great feeling it has for midtown. I ordered the Bianca pizza (pictured) and I am so glad I did. If I weren't on a solo business trip, I would have loved to try some of the other pizzas on the menu. I will definitely be back. Here's a weird musing on my part... Pizza seems to be pretty standard/as expected. Not going to blow you away but not bad. Tried to place a large order for our hospital department. Was told they do not take credit card unless we pay on site or cash on delivery. No online order option. Rep I was speaking with on phone not very helpful but also seemed stressed so probably not his fault. Seems to be a system issue. Really disappointing. For a place that reportedly only takes physical card or cash there are plenty of equal or better choices you can make in the Phoenix area. Unfortunate. read more

Firstly, Pino's pizza is the best in the area. He is know for sourcing the very best ingredients. If it can come from Italy, it does. He knows literally everybody that comes in his restaurant and he loves the food he serves. My husband and I had made pizza at home recently and jokingly showed Pino a picture of it. He was so happy to talk about how to make dough and bread and you could see the love he had for his craft. He talked about the difference between the dough he used for his bread and the dough for pizza, when the dough was at its peak and how to make a good crust. If you want to support local, please try this place. You will be able to tell that they love their customers and they love the food they serve. Pino's is great in every way. read more

Pino's is OK. One time I had table service. One time I ordered at the front and picked up at the counter. The food is OK. I think the best thing I had was the penne alfredo. The 4 cheese pizza was not my favorite 4 cheese ever. I figured I'd give it a try since I typically enjoy 4 cheese pizzas, but I am used to them being a white pizza. The Caesar salad was good. I've had the caprese; it was fairly typical. I wouldn't mind coming back since it's thoroughly OK. The pizza crust is better than most I've tried in Phoenix (huge compliment from me; I don't like crust.) read more

Excellent European style pizza and excellent service! We were in a mood for pizza, but not the same old same old. We ordered the Falilo, which was light, balanced, and perfect for the moment. The waiters were very professional and recommended a desert (I don't remember the name), which was also balanced and perfect. We were visiting from Chicago, and while we have very many good choices we found this place unique! read more

Customer service and the Quality of there overpriced food has been lacking for a while now..But this took the cake. I tried ordering $30 Worth of sandwiches.She seemed bored with my order... I asked if she could put mayo on my Turkey sub.She said "NO" Unless you want to pay extra...HAHAHA What the Fu#*...They tried charging me for Mayo. My business apparently isnt worth the Penny it costs to Put mayo on My sandwich. She said If you want me to waive the $1.00 for Mayo...Ill have to call the Owner!!!!!! I'll tell you what sticks out in my mind: the owners are the ANGRIEST restaurant owners I think I've ever encountered. Angry at customers, at the world. She is from hell, he's angrier than she is. They close at 8pm so it isn't the hours. But I'll tell you this: the pizza is fine, another $20 large pizza served by ANGRY, ANGRY transplants.
