Fanciest and nicest bowling alley/bocce place ever!!! We met family here to play some bocce for the first time and it was so fun! We were waited on for food and drink refills the whole time and the staff was very considerate of me bringing my young children. They brought down the giant connect four for them to play with while the adults played bocce. They even gave them cute hats and medals for rewards!! The whole establishment was very clean and well kept up. The lanes were very nice as well! Didn't get the chance to explore the whole place but it seemed like it went on forever. The buffet they provided for brunch was so delicious!!! Best buffet I've had by far. The sliced ham and other meats right there for you, had fresh waffles with tons of toppings. They even make omelets fresh in front of you! And there were a ton of other options of food, including my kids favorite pizza and chicken fingers haha! We attended Saturday brunch recently. It was not a busy day for them. We enjoyed our meal, although a few things that I wouldn't say were bad, just experiences that I'll share: The pre-made salads were up on a high pedestal, making it hard for vertically-challenged people to reach. There were some other things, like the gravy that were placed VERY far back and hard to reach, particularly when you needed to open the lid, use the ladle, etc. Related to that, I found it odd that they had a person standing there handing out the waffles, which were very easy to reach, yet something hard to reach like the gravy was "serve yourself". I'm guessing they do that to slow people down from the waffles. At the carving station, I was the first to ask for prime rib for the day and he gave me the tiniest little slice of the dry end. I kind of felt like he should have offered to give me an interior slice. Also I paid $40 for the meal, so I think he could maybe offer a bit bigger slice. I know I could have spoken up, but it just was something that bugged me a little. When asked for our drink order, the server didn't explain that coffee was complimentary, which if I'd known, I would have had coffee. (They asked if it was our first time, so seems like that would trigger some extra explanation.) We had good service, but she seemed to disappear about halfway through leaving us marooned needing assistance and unable to get anyone else's attention for quite some time. I wouldn't usually think of coming here for their dining--just a special occasion or specifically for bocce and bowling; however, after experiencing the bistro for dinner with my friend for New Years' and weekend brunch lately I am blown away by the presentation, quality of food, service, and ambiance! They have amazing weekday deals and promos for holidays. Note that they have a seasonal menu. The quality of all their bistro menu items are excellent, as my favorite item this past season was the burrata and acorn squash salad, lobster bisque, and wings (all the flavors lol)! I appreciate that they also have mocktails -- particularly the ginger rose. The rosemary stem definitely elevates it and is something I don't usually see in mocktails. The service has been good every time I've gone for bistro dining and for their epic brunch (the chocolate fondue fountain though). I'd definitelyyy make reservations for any holidays, events like graduation season, or if they have any event promos! If their parking lot is full, there's a parking garage right across the street! First time trying brunch here and I would definitely be back. The carving area had prime rib and ham. Both delicious. Selections were broad for a great price. Smoked salmon, capers and all the fixin's to make a bagel sandwich. The chili brussel sprouts are a favorite. I tried everything at the salad station as well and a couple rounds of shrimp cocktail. Waffle station had so many options for toppings. The chocolate fountain and variety of desserts is a great way to end the meal. Service was friendly and they cleared the plates promptly after we finished each round. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. You can get in and out quickly or take your time to enjoy your meal. We had a company holiday party here last week, and it was awesome! We were set up in the bowling area, which had roughly ten lanes, making it a bit more "cozy" than a typical, dedicated bowling alley. I liked it! The interface for plugging in names was not only easy, but added a lot of fun images and elements to the names! The graphics and videos that played up on the screen as we bowled our game were a lot of fun! It was nice to have something outside the normal, standard grid of frames. But, maybe my FAVORITE part of bowling at Pinstripes was the policy that as long as you had on clean, close-toe shoes, you did not need to wear alley-provided shoes! WIN!!!!! We had a food spread of sandwiches, cut fruit, and cut veggies. The fruit and veggies both seemed fresh, and had good dips. The sandwiches actually surprised everyone present with how delicious they were! The place was decorated with a lot of holiday decor, making for a fun ambiance! We got a great team picture at the end of the evening utilizing the pretty, curved staircase in the foyer! There's also indoor bocce ball, which we did not partake in this time, but also looked like a lot of fun! I also saw a large, well-provisioned bar outside the bowling room. With it having been a workplace-sponsored event, I did not foot a bill; however, I did hear from the person who did that it was not a cheap event, for a relatively small gathering of folks. Decent ravioli, the salad was fresh. The sausage and meatballs were fairly bland. It was good, but nothing to write home about. The bowling lanes were cramped. Had the pleasure of being a speaker at two events here recently. So this review is specific to the events team and experience. Our first event was flawless. Tables were set in our desired configuration, our private server was quick, attentive and kept drinks filled without distractions. The small appetizer buffet was set out nicely and the food was hot just as we wrapped up our presentation. The sliders and bruschetta were the two favorites of the night. Our second event got off to a rocky start as due to some miscommunication they were not expecting us. Luckily a room was available and our panel of speakers rolled up their sleeves to help move tables and chairs. The pinstripes crew got us all glasses of water and the bartender personally came to take drink orders. Though it was unfortunate that no catering platters could be made on short notice they did bring out several flatbread pizzas just as the event was wrapping up so we had refreshments after all. I love hummus and guacamole and they were both awful! Hummus was both bland and pasty - practically like glue. The guac didn't even taste like avocados, lime, salt, cilantro - it didn't taste like anything really. It's kind of hard to describe! But the veggies and bread that came with it were great! Super fresh. HH pretzel: I can't remember a pretzel that didn't come with any salt on it, but this one didn't. The cheese sauce was very salty though, so I guess it worked out! It comes with mustard as well. Cobb Salad: the best menu item we got! The cubed turkey was very processed, so skip that if you're not into processed meats. It cost us $123 for 4 of us to bowl for an hour. So for that price you'd expect a great bowling alley. Nope. The lane was so messed up you couldn't even bowl correctly. It slanted major to the right and have a hump in the middle. Made it very frustrating. Also there was chunks of mud in our lane. We tried to clean it up. We will never come back here. My wife loved her Gnocchi, it was a little spicy but she did love it. The dessert was really chocolaty, if you are a chocolate lover this is for you. I will say that either the gnocchi or the dessert and possibly the combination of the two did not agree with my wife as she had an upset stomach before we could get a block away from the restaurant. Went here for a private party. The staff was very friendly, great service. We were a party of twenty, we had our party set up outside. It was private and still close to the buffet line. The quality and diversity of the food was so good! First time going here and definitely going again. We actually chose not to eat dinner last night. The catalyst for us leaving early was due to the lack of service and attention to us while we dined. We were originally seated at a table that was dirty, we asked the hostess if she would have someone clean it- she did not. Our appetizers came out cold and we sat for 15 minutes before it was addressed. We indicated we would not want to stay for dinner, it was our first time eating here, and instead of removing the cold appetizer and getting our check, he went to a 6 top and took their order and brought them drinks. We were charged for the cold appetizer. The manager walked around the dining room chatting with the only 3 tables in the bistro, but did not speak to us or address our concerns about what we had been severed. The service was great as it was very busy on a Sunday. We went bowling after and we had a blast, you also get a discount if you partake in the brunch. I really thought I had written a review but found I have not. We have been three times for bowling and it is always so much fun. It is such a clean environment and very family friendly. They truly cater to all ages. It is more expensive but again everything is clean, open and there is always someone to help you. They have a terrific happy hour. We always plan around that to offset the cost. This is not bowling alley food either, it is delicious. I had the veggie pizza. So full of veggies. The crust in the middle was a bit soggy but I expected it with the amount of veggies on it. Maybe precooking the crust a bit would help. The brushetta rivals any Italian restaurant. Kids meals are worth it but you have to stay on them to make sure they get everything the menu states. The fries were a hit. Drink specials nightly and they do not water them down. read more
