Our go-to carry-out Thai food spot!! Food is good and consistent, our fav things to order include the Khao Soi, Tom Kha, spring rolls, and Pad Thai. They do a really solid Pad Thai! We've actually never eaten in the restaurant - we always do carry-out - but the restaurant itself is really cute inside and seems like a lovely place to dine, so we plan to one day. It's often busy when we go in to pick up our order. Staff are always super friendly and so so nice!! Only reason it's four stars instead of five is because there is something a little off about the beef, so I no longer order the beef noodle soup (which used to be one of my favorites) because the beef tastes weird and has too chewy of a texture. So now I just skip out on that menu item entirely and opt for other protein options from here, like the shrimp, which is always good! Wanted a quick casual early dinner tonight and this has been on my list. Cute little (5 tables) bistro with a chill vibe. The staff are sweet and very attentive. We ordered lumpia appetizer and she also brought us some fried dumplings, on the house, for ordering over $35 from the menu. They were both fresh and super crunchy and delicious. We ordered 2 beers, ice cold and yummy. Both the drunken noodles with crispy duck and the red curry with chicken were delightful. Warning: I ordered a spice 2 and it was more medium so just be aware. This restaurant seems like a hole in the wall but the food was hot and fresh. Parking is free and shared in the plaza parking lot but easily accessible . I think the soup was the star for me. Came here for lunch. The place is small with very few tables but we were seated right away. I love noodles so I ordered Khao Soi with chicken as protein. The curry flavor is on point, so delicious! I didn't particularly like the fried egg noodles, I would just prefer them like normal, boiled and soak under those yummy curry soup! Every dish we tried was a masterclass in balance and flavor, but the Tom Kha with shrimp stole the show--adding noodles took it to another level. The broth was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, hitting that ideal Thai hot level--bold but not overpowering. The chicken satay was cooked to perfection, the spring rolls were crisp and delicious, and while the beef drunken noodles weren't our favorite (we prefer a double-wide noodle), the flavor was still fantastic. We were torn between the Panang curry and red curry, both incredibly flavorful and satisfying. But what truly made the experience special was ING, the heart and soul of the bistro. Been looking for a place here in Jacksonville that serves Khao Soi. Found. This place and it didn't disappoint us. Everything we ordered was delicious. Khao Soi is flavorful. Pad Thai with fried chicken was tasty giving a twist to the normal chicken pad Thai we typically get. The pinto fried rice and Pra ram were amazing. Pinto Thai is INCREDIBLE and I eat here multiple times a week with a friend, who also thinks it's incredible. The food is fresh, high quality and absolutely delicious. The service is fast and the staff are all friendly, including the cook/owners who are adorable. I would say aside from maybe 1 thing that was too much for my boring American tastebuds, everything on their menu is absolutely amazing and you can tell they take great care in making things authentic and flavorful. Personally, I travel for work to places like San Francisco and NYC for work all the time, and I would choose to eat here over almost any restaurant I've been to in both places. Such a hidden gem. And, not to be dramatic, but if I was on death row I would come here for my last meal. If I was a bear going into hibernation for the winter, I would fill up on all their soups and curries. Excellent Thai spot at the beach! Owner Jan is a sweetheart and is greeted by many regulars. Apart from the usual Thai fare, Chicken Curry Puffs are a tasty app you don't find often, and atypical mains include Khao Soi (a very flavorful curry noodle soup), Kra Pow Kai Dow (stir fried vegetables with a fried egg) and Eggplant Garlic Sauce, each with its choice of protein. Among the protein choices, (pro tip) the tofu comes as fried triangles by default but can be subbed for "steamed" cubes, and the crispy duck is tastier than most other Thai places. Only constructive criticism (and it's a criticism of virtually all Thai restaurants in the area) is that sometimes the veggies seem to be added 45-60 seconds too late in the cooking process, which leads to a slightly undercooked texture/result. One final quibble (also of virtually all Thai places) is that carrots are sliced into thin scalloped coins, which really are an awkward shape for most of the dishes (not to mention unnatural looking) - carrots would be better sliced into sticks. It's a little uncanny how most Thai restaurants seem to have signed a silent pledge to shape their carrots into coins with scalloped edges... read more

I didn't get the full experience, since I got it To-Go. I actually came from brunch next door. I was about to head to work and noticed this spot and thought, I should grab something for lunch! Hehe I don't know why I never saw this place before. It's cute and tiny inside, but there are a few tables. I ordered my faves, shrimp padseew and roti bread with the dipping sauce. I wish I had asked for spice, because the noodles seemed lacking of flavor. Didn't even think about it, as this was a spontaneous drop in on the way to work. Haha. Next time! I wish I could remember the name of this fish but, it was absolutely delicious! Perfect ratios of noodles to chicken to veggies. Paired these noodles with a Thai Iced tea which I would highly recommend. Fast and attentive wait staff which made the overall experience! A true gem of Ponte Vedra Beach. Nestled away, Pinto Thai has me coming back every time I'm in town for a post beach day meal. With only 4 tables inside, service was amazing and we felt like we were part of something special. If you don't have time to wait for a table it looked like they were flying through takeout orders. I ordered the Khao Soi curry soup with chicken. With hints of lemon grass and a punch of spice this sweet curry was the highlight of the meal. Cozy little gem that's a short walk from the beach. My fiancee and I found this place online when we were looking for a post-beach bite. The employees were very friendly and welcoming when we came in. We were lucky to snag a table as there are only about 4 (I told you it was cozy lol). Anyway, we tried the app platter, fried chicken pad thai and masamam curry with chicken. The entrees were delicious, with the appetizers especially tasting fresh. You expect your entrées to be cooked to order, but sometimes the apps at restaurants can taste pre-made or from frozen. These DID NOT. They were all very tasty. This place is probably one of the top 5 Thai restos I've ever tried. Kudos to the kitchen and staff. P.S.- The Thai tea is great too! read more

I was visiting Jacksonville and discussing food with my Granny. I found out she had never had Thai before. Pinto was nearby and I decided to take her. Pinto is a very small place tucked into a strip mall. I honestly did not expect much based off the outside. Thankfully, I was blown away! With some guidance from me and based on her preferences, my Granny ordered a Pad Thai special that had fried chicken. I told her it typically doesn't come with fried chicken, but the rest of it was what to expect with future orders of Pad Thai. She also discovered that she likes bean sprouts! I ordered the Pra Ram (Thai Peanut Sauce). It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. It had a thick, peanuty sauce. The chicken was delicious. It came with broccoli and a side of white rice. I kept eating well past being full because it was so good. The portions were huge too. We took some home. My only complaint is that some of the prices were high. I wanted to have her to try the Roti too (especially since she has never had curry), but not for an extra $8.50. We also had amazing service. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The pad see ew was a huge portion and tasted pretty good but lacked extra chicken (or they give very little chicken to begin with). The green curry had ok flavor but was super watery. I much prefer the green curry at green papaya. The lumpia was very good, but not good enough to make me come back. This has to be the prototypical neighborhood gem combined with an emerging star restaurant with great service, great food, and exactly the kind of menu choices that will allow frequent visits in order to try all the different kinds of foods. I have only ventured here twice so far; but, since we live just a few miles south, we shall return. Shrimp tempura is superb. Crispy duck noodle soup and duck entrée are superb. Sampler is a great way to taste the diversity and finesse of the chef. The space is very small (~ 5 tables only); hence, we saw a fair amount of take out--well worth any wait. If you can judge the kitchen by the bathroom (I believe there is a direct correlation); the kitchen has to be clean (the bathroom was spotless). Cute little restaurant that just opened. Friendly staff and delicious food! The restaurant is small inside. Only 4 tables and you order at the counter. We ordered crab rangoon for our appetizer! SO glad we did. It's something I'm going to crave. My new standard for crab Rangoons. It wasn't at all greasy and had a great crunch with delicious filling. We also ordered crying tiger at spice level 4 and my husband said it was perfect. (Choice of 0-4) I ordered tofu pad se ew and it was tasty as well. Very saucy which I love. I ordered Pinto Thai through Uber Eats so can only speak of my delivery experience. But the food was absolutely amazing. Felt very authentic. We ordered the roti and pork lumpia for the appetizers. The roti was average and the pork lumpia was SO good. Perfectly crunchy and the inside was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Drunken Noodles and the Pad Thai. For each entree you pick your spice level. We selected HOT for the Drunken Noodles and they were very very hot. My fiancé likes spicy food but he was sweating for 20 minutes after eating them. Would do medium next time. We chose mild for the pad Thai and it was perfect for a wimp like me. Peanuts were served on the side. Uber eats delivered quickly, everything was piping hot and so good. The best Thai restaurant I've been to in Jax so far! & I've tried a ton! We really enjoyed all of our dishes. The crying tiger was cooked well, a bit of tang from the lime and good hit of spicy, loaded up with rice powder. Noodles for the pad thai were cooked Al dente. I would say pad Thai is a good balance of sweet and savory. I thought the Thai tea was good but my husband did think it was a bit on the sweeter side. However, it comes in a cup I'd consider large in terms of the places I've been to. Smol restaurant though as there are only 5(?) tables that can seat 4 each... possibly 6 at one of the tables. To start, one of THE BEST thai places in jax!!!! Reading through the negative reviews, it appears that many of them are unfamiliar with authentic thai cuisine as many of their complaints leveled against the food seem to attack the very elements that define thai food . Everything here is absolutely AMAZING and delicious and is my go to place for Thai food. the staff is very friendly and food hits the table fairly quickly.
