I was surprised when Randy responded to my yelp message to him within minutes on a Sunday morning. A lot of companies don't respond at all. I had a very small job that needed to get done and a lot of companies won't even do it because they don't think it is worth their time. Randy is a really nice guy and did a great job fixing the screen door on my fifth wheel. A while back my husky tore it up. She's okay now. Price was very good, too. Our screens were 11 years old. One was totally torn, most were damaged by kitty claws, and others were damaged when a removed tree was dragged out through our side yard (three bedrooms' worth of windows face that side). Randy and Wanda replaced all our crappy screens with new ones! I'm very happy that we didn't bother with interviewing lots of companies before making our choice. Usually we would, but in this case, we called the best first (according to the reviews) and got the best. We were short on time and didn't feel like meeting a bunch of strangers of dubious quality. We're only interested in dealing with really nice people. If you call Randy and Wanda first, it can save you a lot of time and hassle! They're awesome! The new screens are beautiful and our cats have not been able to damage them. They do have their nails trimmed every two weeks, but still, they were able to inflict plenty of damage on the basic (read: crappy) metal screens that came with our windows. Prior to having these, we wouldn't have know the difference in quality; screens were screens. Now, we're spoiled and wouldn't ever want to go back to the crappy kind, even if we lived a catless life (which isn't going to happen). It's a real pleasure to look out our screens at the birds playing in the birdbath without being distracted by icky holes and tears. They also are beautiful for their own sake, if you're a show-off like me. You'd be amazed at the difference new screens make! So, if you have pets or are saving up to have them someday, or even if you don't/aren't but just want new screens, this is your first choice. The price is reasonable and the people are very nice! I'd also suggest calling them for new screens if you're going to list your house; they really look gorgeous! I know homes around here sell regardless but this is a small investment for a big result. Randy and Wanda just left and I almost feel silly at how happy I am with my sparkling clean windows. Randy spent extra time on a back bedroom window that had heavy water deposits from a misdirected sprinkler. Wow! What a difference! The window looks almost new and he even put some kind of coating on it that makes water bead up and fall off it. (He did say this won't last and we will be adjusting our sprinkler to keep it off the window after this.) Anyway, I can't recommend Randy and Wanda highly enough. They are prompt, courteous, trustworthy (they do clean the inside of the windows, too) and very reasonably priced. I don't know about you, but I just can't seem to get my windows all clean at once on my own and I am on the short side, so it is a big job to get to the top of my windows.
