Seared Ahi Tuna Bowl with IPNA

We enjoyed our meal today here. It was hopping when we arrived. The weather was sunny and pleasant than earlier in the week. And it was Friday of Labor Day weekend. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. Overall, a nice experience.

Good place for a pint and bites after hiking at Whiskeytown! Had the Blackberry Blonde from Etna Brewing which was pretty balanced and refreshing with a hint of blackberry. For food, they were out of a couple items so we had to pivot and opted for the ruben with side salad and seared ahi tacos. The ruben was warm and tasty while the salad was big enough to split, they even gave us two different dressings. While the ahi tacos had way too much rice, you almost couldn't taste the fish, I also wished it had more seasoning overall.

Ahi tuna with tempura jalopena, pickled radish, fresh avocado, spicy sauce and a won ton chip. So yummy!

I was excited to try this place. They did not disappoint. The service was friendly and welcoming. My friend had a burger and cheese curds. The cheese curds were delicious. I had ahi tuna (minus the bun). I love it. It was fresh and tasty and had the freshest avocado with it. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but fit with the vibe of the place. I will definitely go back.

3 of us for Saturday lunch. They were busy but we were quickly seated. The decor and construction of the place is great. Our server Alexis was terrific! Started with Fresh fried Wisconsin cheese curds. I love cheese curds and these were the real deal. Perfectly fried! Perfect Pear Salad was very generous and perfect. The place, including restroom was immaculate! We will be returning every time we're in the area.

The Widow: bacon burger blend, jalapeños, havarti cheese, and jalapeño aioli on a pub bun

We just arrived in Redding from a long road trip so we were all starving and excited to eat. The hostess and waitress were both very kind which was a great start to the dinner. It was two stories but the top floor was full, so we sat in a booth next to the bar. It was pretty packed even though there was less than an hour before closing. I ordered the Widow, which came with a bacon burger blend, jalapeños, havarti cheese, and jalapeño aioli on a pub bun. The bun was buttery and pillowy soft, and was came as a surprise to me was that the jalapeños were deep fried and very crispy. It wasn't what I expected but I wasn't mad about it either. I just didn't like how salty the burger was... and I love salt. So to the average person, this was probably inedible but I powered through it because I was starving and used the fries as a palette cleanser. If it wasn't salty though, this would be a really good burger with how creamy and cheesy it was.

The place was very busy, but I removed the people for their privacy

I came as part of a group for lunch after church. There was a good amount of people in our group. The place is very large. There's two floors of seating on the inside, and also a patio. We all sat on the patio. Everything was very clean, the chairs were comfortable, and they had heating which was nice. Overall, service was good. They came back periodically to check on us, a couple of times, somebody had to ask again to get something, and I had to specifically ask for a refill on my soda. But overall, it was good A couple of the people in our group ordered the shareable, peanut chicken wings, and passed them around for others to try. I had one and they were delicious. The chicken was very tender, the peanut sauce was savory with just a tiny bit of a kick to it. For my meal, I ordered the seared Ahi salad. It was delicious. All of the veggies were very well done, the avocado was creamy, I liked the wonton strips that provided a little crunch, and the tuna was amazing. Perfectly seared on the outside, and nice and rare on the inside. you could tell it was a good quality tuna. The only problem was , that the dressing was very spicy. At the very top of what I like for spicy. Unfortunately, I didn't see it when it was listed as spicy on the menu, and then to top it off, I didn't try it before I just poured it on my salad.. One of the servers heard me talking about it, and offered to replace it, but I said no, because I was almost done with it anyway. It would not have been fair, but it was nice of them to offer. The price was reasonable, however, because we were a large group, there was an automatic 25% tip, apparently up from what what they used to charge of 18. I could see 18 to 20% for an automatic tip for groups, I thought 25 was a bit on the high end. Not only that, they also charge an extra 3% for paying with plastic. Other than these small glitches, overall, the meal was very good. I would definitely come back.... They have some burgers on that menu that really look good. Thank you.

Jen is amazing as always. We love when she serves us! We tried the wings, which were delicious. The had a spicy peanut sauce. I was surprised how big they were and so tender! The bones literally fell out when you picked one up to eat. I asked the server what they were brined in, because that's the only way to get wings that tender. The cook she asked gave her a flip non answer. So I asked to speak to a cook on my way out. Turns out they bring them in cooked. Then re-fry them with a rice flour coating and toss in sauce. This explains why they are not at all crispy. I mean they were still good but I just expected more from pipeline I guess.

Vibes of this place are on point. A perfect stop for food while on a road trip. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and were able to get me seated right away. I ordered the pipeline classic with regular fries. Burger was definitely fresh as it was still hot to eat haha!Fries looked plain at first, but were a perfect match for their creamy ranch! Overall 10/10

Food was great; pretty standard brewery menu items but all leveled up and very well done. Fast service, amazing vibe. Really clean interior and had a great ambiance. Worth driving out of your way for a stop.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

This spot checks all the boxes for a perfect end to the week. We went on a Friday evening, the weather was beautiful, and the atmosphere made everything feel extra cozy. Inside, we ordered a flight of beers and tried several: Berry Madness, The Mexican Lager, Mr. French (my absolute favorite, a milk stout with coconut, cacao, and caramel notes that was so smooth and delicious), The Fuzzy Peach, and Gold Tooth. Each one had its own unique character, but Mr. French really stood out for me. It's dog friendly (bonus points!), and I loved seeing pups hanging out around the yard. They also bring in food trucks, which is such a cool touch, you can grab your food outside and enjoy it inside or in the yard. The location is perfect too. The parking lot is large as well if you're driving. Customer service was great, the bartender was friendly and helpful. We ended up hanging out in their outdoor dirt yard with twinkle lights, which made it feel warm, laid-back, and inviting. However, I was extremely disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was so bland I was actually shocked. How could nothing on the plate have any flavor? I saw so many reviews raving about the chicken Marsala. Maybe they got a new cook because the sauce was basically just heavy cream didn't look anything like other pictures people posted. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good and had lots of flavor but the marinara was also quite bland and the garlic bread was a joke. It was toasted bread with a smidge of butter, no garlic whatsoever. I will not go back for the price. Definitely not worth it. The fried artichokes and salad were good, but the entree is the most important part and they totally dropped the ball. Very disappointing.
