    Coconut mojito

Been here twice and both times drinks have been DELICIOUS! The coconut mojito was my favorite. A sweet combination between sweet, sour and milky. The passion fruit mojito was also very good . Tart and refreshing . They also have the option of making your drink into an "adult snowcone " which is a nice twist of the traditional puertorican "snowcone " called piragua. Very appropriate to cooldown while walking the streets of Old San Juan. Service was great and the location was cute and clean .

Perfect location to grab a drink at while walking around Viejo San Juan! The decor is super cute for pictures and they have different seating arrangements depending on where you are inside. The bartenders were quick to serve us and happy to have us there. I had the Straw-Rita Piragua that was super refreshing. Hubby ordered their take on a Mule that was also very yummy. Great little stop when you're in the area!

Nice little bar with delicious drinks and tapas only. The empanadillas were my fav, but the spicy crab nachos and truffle fries were tasty too. Not a particularly "traditional" menu! Drinks were delicious and well-made. Service was good and the premises were modern and comfortable in an older building.

I was in San Juan for a friends birthday trip and we came across this place exploring around Old San Juan. Their drinks are so GOOD and really cheap if you come during Happy Hour. We must have come here at least three times! The decor is very cute and the establishment is designed to be able to take cute photos ops. They have a wishing well towards the back and cute grass backdrop where you're able to take pictures. Definitely a place to stop by if you're in the area.

One of my favorite bars to visit while I'm in Old San Juan. They have an extensive list of yummy and refreshing drinks!

Empanadas, buns and I can't remember the other time but it has beans, rice and sweet plantain in it.

Cut little place, you order at the bar. The seating is a little weird to me. A few seats in the front and there were reserved seating in the back but there was not really that many people there. Also there was another long table where a family was sitting at. Drinks were different it was a slushee with alcohol basically. Drinks were yummy and had a cute twists. A lot of people came in for a drink to go to walk around San Juan with. The food was good. The bun sliders didn't need all that sauce drizzled on it but they were still good. Food came out pretty fast. Now the bathroom really needs to be done over. It does not match the ambiance at all. There is a huge garbage can as soon as you walk in giving you less space to use the bathroom. They really need to change everything in there. I was surprised how it looked compared to the rest of the place. Music was cool overall and there was a chill vibe.

Passion piragua (good with tajin rim) and mule

Such a cute place! Drinks were so good and something different we hadn't had before. Anything passion fruit is amazing!

A lifesaver in an otherwise shite day. Fast friendly service, great food, strong drinks, good tunes, fair price.

One room, the main area had salsa, dancing, and music and eventually at 9:30 PM a live salsa band came on. That was a whole lot of fun however it was very crowded. The second room had a nice house music going on. There was a bar and a DJ and it was not as busy as the main area was. And the third room was the bar that leads to the outside called La Cubanita, which was playing mellow lounge music with a tropical beat. The food at La Factoria was definitely overrated and just OK. I did not think it was worth the price and I probably would not eat there again. None of us really liked what we ordered, but we ate it because well... We were hungry. They do offer a wide range of beverages from your standard beer, wine, and top shelf brands, however, they are known for their own concoctions. All of the drinks we ordered were delicious. Overall, we had fun, and it was not too pricey for the beverages. I don't think that I would ever go again, especially not later in the week as it is so busy, and we went on a Monday and we were dancing cheek to cheek!!! Enjoy!

The…read moreatmosphere and warmth of our initial experience was so great that I made it a deliberate mission to find it again when visiting recently. We were thrilled when we finally walked through the door again after wracking our brains to remember our favorite spot in Old Town. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young woman who, mentioned it was her very first day as an assistant to the bartender. Despite being brand new, she was warm, engaged, and genuinely welcoming, excited for us that we had made it back after several years, and impressed with our efforts. Shortly thereafter the bartender on duty approached us mid-conversation, visibly irritated. When I mentioned that we hadn't yet decided on drinks but were being well taken care of in the meantime, she interrupted sharply to bark at us that she was the bartender and the ONLY one who could help us. The tone was unwelcoming enough that after a moment, my companion and I determined that we would prefer to move on and left without ordering. The atmosphere is truly special, and it deserves to be matched by the experience guests receive at the bar. Our experience was simply not the vibe that night, and I truly was disappointed FOR the new hire who was doing what she should in engaging us until we could be served. I sincerely hope to return on a future visit to San Juan and to rediscover the experience that first brought me back to La Grieta.
