First off beware that it is $8.00 per a vehicle for parking. I didn't notice this on the website and we took separate cars to the venue. Show: One of the main characters of the show is extremely obnoxious. His character is meant to be obnoxious and his songs are extremely annoying. The singing in this show in general is not great. As other reviews have mentioned, the audio is TERRIBLE. The mics are crazy loud and it echoes. The songs make very little sense. Basically the show is just pirates tossing a girl back a forth, a belly dancer mermaid, and tons of pirate fighting. The show discusses the scary dragon sea creature throughout the entire show. Once it shows up they just stab it and it goes away. This part would be very intense for little kids. There is almost too much audience participation. People are constantly getting up for different parts of the show. Food: I ordered the chicken. They only had 3 drink options that came with the meal, Pepsi, Sierra Mist and Water. The food was pretty bland and not that great of quality. The brownie dessert was one of the better aspects but tasted comparable to a gas station brownie. The $6.00 pirate kits were a huge rip off. It came with a flag, eye patch and a "bandana". The bandana is not a normal one and is a thin piece of fabric you wrap around the forehead. The flags were not nearly as popular here as they are at Medieval Times. The crowd was rather small and the cheering was pretty pathetic. If you want a show that's 90% screaming, then go for it. Photo packages were like $28 for 1 photo or $40 for 3 with key chain and magnet. The photos looked great but were very overpriced. The price for the tickets might've seemed less than medieval times to start with. But by the end of the night it really added up. Reservation read 6pm dinner, advised to arrive 1 hr prior. Then, found out dinner/show would be at 7. So, we arrived VERY early, yet were required to sit in second row while first row was vacant. And remained so ALL night. Reservation was for first OR second row--NO SEAT ASSIGNMENT. Manager claimed they're pre-assigned-BS!!! Although the food and service is good, poor communication and lack of customer service is too great to overcome. Finally, watch your wallet. The barkeep will pick your pocket by double dipping on tips and confirming your 50% drink discount, but charging full price. Beware, there's an Auto-Gratuity of 15% charged without your knowledge on top of what you're prompted electronically to give. And, now, instead of shortchanging the number of photos, "free" digital photos are packaged. You're given a card to scan for e-access. Be sure to scan the Q-code before leaving because photos may be locked and "freed" only after paying $40. I must really love my kids to put myself through the fresh tourist hell that is Pirates Dinner Adventure. Think Medieval Times...but with pirates. Does that make it worse or better? You decide. Pros: Kids had a great time. The blue pirate was hot AF. No horse crap to smell or contend with. Blue pirate has a blue steel look better than Zoolander. Our waitress was nice. The blue pirate was there. There is alcohol in abundance to get you through this. That blue pirate is SERIOUSLY HOT AF. Cons: Blue pirate never takes off his shirt. Wtf? The food is a cross between a good retirement home and a bad Luby's cafeteria. The salmon plate came with sides they dictated - an under seasoned mashed potato (wtf...rice goes with salmon) and mixed veggies straight from Green Giant. The salmon had a sauce on it that was as funky as George Clinton. I scraped it off both mine and my younger kid (she's uppity and extra AF and got the same adult salmon meal....yet her piece was WAY bigger than mine. No consistency here.) This salmon was hammered more than Andy Dick. I'm sure it once looked bright and had dreams of becoming salmon dinner at Pappadeaux's or something but sadly ended up here. They told us to be here an hour ahead of time. Don't. You'll end up standing for an hour griping at the workers. We got there at 6:30. They said the show started at 8. They told us to show up by 6:30 for seating. We didn't sit down until 8:30. If you want to see me go full on "Let me speak to the manager" then just have me stand in one spot for two hours. I'm not sure if it's because they seat so damn late or what, but by 10 the kids were tired and we'd been there for 3 and a half hours. We left. Yes it's touristy. It's made for kids. I've seen other shows though that did this better (Branson shout out) so I know the food doesn't have to suck (don't get the cheesecake dessert btw...unless you like a tart "this crap is curdled" taste) and can be entertaining. I won't dog on it too much as the kids liked it once it started going. They really need to make the pre show more entertaining. They need to make it possible to get a drink (I shit you not I waited at the bar for 25 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence, which just made my MACENROE rage boil) and fix the food to edible. For the price you pay I understand that 3 courses seems reasonable. Remember though that one course is just a Caesar salad and the last one is a brownie. This is been something that I have been wanting to do since I moved to Orlando. We found a Groupon special that was half off the entry into the show so we decided to go ahead and go. The level of cheesiness for this establishment is five stars but that is also what draws you in. When you first walk in you were greeted with the cashier who let you choose which I'm sure you would like for dinner. Tonight we went with the chicken. Open walking in you enter an area that has two different bars as well as a gift shop. Drinks and gifts are priced pretty fair and the drinks were decent. A preshow starts in this ballroom as it sets the tale for tonight's action. Everyone is assigned a color and you have your pirate come out to greet you to take you to your seats. There was an option to upgrade your seats to a VIP table but trust me there is not a bad seat in the house. Once you sit down you have a waitress that comes around to give you your drinks. The best thing about this is they have free beer for everyone over 21. Let me tell you that again. They have free beer. The food was surprisingly good as they give you a three course meal. Show was boring. Story was hard to follow if there was a story line. It was cool in the middle that they invited up some of the kids to the ship. Service was ok, I mean you preorder your food and someone just puts it in front of you. There's coke and water set out in a pitcher at your booth. You pour your own drinks, so not really much service, but they expect a 20% tip of your ticket price. I would never recommend this show or come back. The chicken was ok but it needed some kind of sauce and they put a little bit of gravy with it but not nearly enough. The sides are super tiny. If you pay 8$ to upgrade a kids meal to an adult meal they only give you half the chicken which is crazy since you paid for it. And did the VIP with a birthday package. I think we could have done without the cake but it was a nice addition. The service is not the usual sit down type it is what I have seen at other dinner shows. The food was good and there was definitely enough of it. I took my grandson to an afternoon 4pm show the Sunday after Christmas. They mentioned to get there early to see some extra entertainment but when we arrived just over an hour before the show, we were the first ones there and there was nothing going on. There was no pre-show entertainment. No worries, we were able to order an appetizer of chips and home made guac, which was actually very good. The show started on time and kept my grandson's interest the whole time, for about 90 minutes. First comes salad, then main course dinner, then dessert was a brownie. All the food was pretty good, but nothing amazing. The show itself had plenty of action, acrobatics, and singing, but it was difficult many times to understand what they were saying because the music was much louder than the mics. I bought the tickets on Groupon, and although they only sell one at a time, and the rules say only one code per day, you can buy a kids, then an adult, and use both codes on the same performance. I have been to many of the touristy shows and this is as entertaining as any of them. Worth it at the Groupon price. read more

My family came here for the Wednesday night dinner show. I got discounted tickets via Groupon. If you go that route, you still have to pay a Groupon surcharge at the door + parking which ended up being about 8-9 dollars per person. I didn't like that parking wasn't included. When we arrived, it was really well decorated and themed. The bar had themed drinks which were reasonably priced around 15-16 with souvenir glass but still on the higher side. Dinner was pretty good. We received a salad, a entree and dessert. Wish there were more dessert options because everyone in our party didn't like chocolate. Portions were pretty big and it came out fast. Our waiter was excellent and you have the option to tip on the service which we did. The show was a really good time. I loved the audience participation and Christmas theme. Great place to get kids involved. My brother ended up being chosen and he went nuts. Would recommend to go early and get great seats. We got there an hour earlier and were sat pretty close up front. Let me start by saying that all of the actors seemed to be enthusiastic and tried very hard to get the audience involved before, during and after the performance. The show itself was just ok. I think that having the audience participate during the performance makes the show choppy and less fluent. The meal was actually better than I thought it would be. They offered a vegetarian meal, a kid's meal and a couple upgrade meals (to salmon and another option). We opted for the generic adult meal - roasted chicken, beef roast, mashed potatoes, garden salad and steamed green beans. We also got a piece of tres leches cake for dessert. We sat at a table in a row. Each color section had it's own waiter/waitress. Based on the food ticket we provided, the waiter knew which meals he needed to serve. So once the show started, we just sat at the table and watched the performance which was center stage (a broken down ship), unless of course you volunteered to participate. Beware! When you check in they will ask you if you want to change your dinner without telling you there is an upcharge. I asked what she recommended and she showed me a picture of what I could choose and the picture does not show prices. I called and spoke to Kimberly explaining i was not told about the upcharge. She said the website tells you and when they call to confirm they tell you. I explained I did not make the reservation my friend made them and they must of confirmed with her but I was never told. I was being nice paying for parking and was never told about the upcharge. Kimberlys other comment was I consumed the food and did not ask to talk to the manager. Great Time!!!! The Facility was clean, neat, and a lot of fun! Everybody was kind,friendly, and very engaged with the crowd. The music, dancing , acting, mermaid, trampoline jumps, High flying swings, singing and the entire show was awesome! Some of those actors deserve 5 starts alone! The food was mediocre, but we went for the show. They sang a lot. But they involved the crowd during multiple segments. The inside is rather large, with a gift shop, bar, pirates showing their wares, and pirates walking around. Everyone was dressed and playing the part. We took the grandkids who loved it. The show was good for children as well as adults. If you only eat white meat, don't order chicken. The chicken they serve is a leg and a thigh. I ordered pork which was pretty good. It was served with gravy on top. For a non-gravy eater, it was pretty good. Funny I read someone thought it was too salty, actually, it was fine. They also wrote the potatoes came out of a box. NOT true, mine had lumps, you don't get lumps in a box. Assorted veggies which were probably frozen and cooked perfectly. I give them credit for not using canned veggies. The chicken was good, and so were the vegetarian options. Oh, before the meal they serve either tomato soup or Ceasar salad from a big bowl, so tell them how much you want. We went to the show on 9/20 @7pm. Absolutely great for kids! We bought the VIP upgrade and sat in the first row. Before the show we had a separate lounge where they served apps and water. The appetizers were fresh fruit, seaweed salad, bean salad, chips and salsa, meatballs, fried ravioli, bbq wings, and a cheese/meat platter. What would have been awesome is if they had a server taking drink orders OR a cash bar in the lounge. As a VIP guest you get to enter the arena first. You are escorted to your table and are greeted by your pirate immediately. We sat in the green section and was immediately given instructions on what to do for our part of the show. We were entertained for the entire show and LOVED how they got the kids involved. I do recommend VIP if you have kids or if you want to be part of the show. I'm not going to give away any details of the show, but it was amazing. You can tell the actors/actresses really try hard to put on a great show and they really do shine! They truly serve free beer and soda (the pitcher was placed on our table). We had no problem with refills. I will say the food was not great at all. Joshua at the door started with great greeting. The guys taking the pictures and the ladies at the register were all pleasant and accommodating. This was our 1st time here!! I had seen it the 2x we went to Myrtle Beach but never went. Decided to give it a try here in Orlando since it was 2 minutes from our hotel. My son and I had a blast! The food was delicious, I don't like mashed potatoes but this places was amazing!!! My picky eater loved his Mac and cheese and nuggets, trust me unless it's Kraft he doesn't like it anywhere. The show had so much audience participation it was fun. I really liked the fact that you had food choices, adults and kids, some places it's one choice for everyone. This is a great show to go to if you're in Orlando looking for something reasonably priced to go with the kids. I payed $24 for an adult ticket and $16 for a child ticket (I got the tickets on Groupon). THE PRICE INCLUDES A DINNER. Which is a plus. Was the food good? Ehh basically the same you would get at a Chilli's resturant. Basic food. But not horrible. They hold you in a room before the show but you do get a pre-show treat and a little show beforehand which is cool. You enter the show by group color and the guy who was the host/actor/entertainer was quite humorous! 2020-08-22 Pirates Dinner Adventure. Orlando, Fl. So despite the COVID pandemic, we dared to travel, and yes, we dared to fly. A 5 day, 4 night mini vacation to Orlando to spend some time at Universal Studios and Volcano Bay. We arrived mid afternoon and checked into our hotel and had pre-booked tickets for the Pirates Dinner Adventure show. It was just down the street from where we were staying, but as we were running short on time, we drove and paid the $17 for parking on their private lot. Now let's get the COVID facts out of the way... They do have modified performance days (check website). Masks are required when not physically eating They do not provide masks Hand sanitizer is provided Employees are wearing masks Employees handling food are wearing gloves No social distancing markers on the ground for reference Guests were spaced out to ensure social distancing Contactless payment was not available The show is much like Medieval Times, but pirate themed. Instead of horses, the stage is a replica of an 18th century pirate ship. There are several different story lines and their doors open for the pre-show 90 minutes prior to the show start times. The pre-show puts everyone in the show, and you and your party are honourable guests of Princess Anita interacting with the cast. During this time, they also preface the story line of the evenings performance. The pre-show ends when a group of Pirates storm the banquet. The Princess and her guests are all held captive and each are led to one of six pirate ships. Each ship has it's own Captain and guests then cheer for their ships in a series of competitions (similar to Medieval Times). The show consists of music and singing, swordplay, acrobatics, and stunts for your enjoyment. Some seating areas come with a warning that you may be in a wet zone. Dinner is served during the show. A bar and souvenir shop are also available outside the dinner theater. Show modifications due to COVID-19: Typically, appetizers are served during the pre-show and are bottomless. But due to COVID measures, they were individually plated and served at the beginning of the show after you've been seated. You have the opportunity to place a full sized order ($) if you wanted it before your complementary sample came out. Pre-show interaction with the cast was cancelled. The Buccaneer Bash (Pirate after-party) after the show was also cancelled, robbing guests the opportunity to mingle with the cast, take advantage of photo opportunities, and dance the night away. Show tickets include 3 course meals (adult: $67.95, kids aged 4-10: $41.95) and non alcoholic drinks. First course was choice of Tomato Bisque soup or Caesar Salad. Entrée choices are Chicken, Pork, and Pasta. Dessert is choice of Cheesecake or Brownie, drinks are of the fountain variety and are bottomless. Adult entrée upgrades to Salmon, Steak, or Lobster are available at $10 each, and Kids Meals could be upgraded to Adult meals for the same $10. We upgraded all of our meals. The kids chicken nuggets meals were upgraded to adult meals, and one of them upgraded again to lobster tail, totaling $53 in upgrades. Salmon. Your standard 4oz filet, served with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The salmon was nicely grilled and still moist when served. Surprisingly, the veggies were not overcooked and still had a crunch to them. The mashed potato was creamy and buttery, no teeth required! Overall 4,5 stars. Chicken. A whole quarter chicken leg dinner. Served with the same mash, but served with only carrots and broccoli stalk. Nice bake on the chicken, but the veggies were a bit disappointing. 3 stars. Steak. 6oz and served with the same sides as the salmon. The sirloin steak was cooked to a beautiful medium exactly as ordered. Beautiful grill marks on the outside and moist and juicy inside. 4,5 stars. Lobster Tail. We were informed that the lobster tail was about 5-6 oz so it may seem a bit on the pricey side for an additional $10, but I'm going to say it was worth it. Grilled to perfection and served with a side of vegetables, some spinach, and drawn butter (see pics). 5 stars! I need to give credit to the Grill Chef(s) tonight. The salmon, the steak, and the lobster were expertly cooked and beautifully seared (see pics!). They need to be promoted to Grill Master Chef! 5 stars for the cook on the grilled entrées! Despite COVID and the restricted Pre and Post show parties, this experience was a good one overall. The show was entertaining, and the crowd was really into it. Many even dressed up in full costume! Regular prices are not exactly cheap, but you'll enjoy a discount if you book online. The discounted prices are a nice way we can help each other and support the economy during the pandemic. I went to a pirates dinner voyage in Pigeon Forge, North Carolina, not the same company. This one was very poorly ran didn't start on time, ran over and the story just didn't keep your attention. There's a lot of parts that could be cut out. My 12-year-old granddaughter wanted to go an hour after it started. The food was not all that good, and they have too many options, that is why it takes so long. We had the chips and dips, and the chips were very stale. Not worth the money you pay. The show was incredible but the server was awful. We tried to oder an appetizer and the server said that someone else would take the order. He said that someone would come by to take the order right away but no one ever came. A few moments later, we saw him take and fulfill an appetizer order for another patron. Later, when the server offered a choice of soup or salad, he told several patrons that the soup was only tomato soup with nothing else. He said this while he had the salad bowl in his hands. It was clear that he was under selling the soup because he didn't want to make another trip to deliver soup. When my wife asked for soup, he acted like he didn't hear her, put salad on her plate and then walked off quickly. Again, the show was good, but the service was terrible. I did see other servers who were attentive and appeared to be doing a good job. Unfortunately, our server was one of the worst I have ever encountered. Management needs to be more aware of how there employees behave. There is a need for oversight and quality control. Finally, if you chose to eat here, you are doing so at you own peril. As I write this, I actually feel sorry for the actors; were not the issue here. Let's just start this out by saying they were the highlight of the evening for the short amount of time we were actually able to watch them. This is a dinner show - i.e. you sit and have dinner as you watch the show. We would have been able to watch more if the waitress had actually served us our meal instead of losing control of her over-stacked tray and dumping ALLLLLL of the plates on top of my partner. Since we attempted to clean him up with the only 2 napkins we were provided at our place-setting, we were not truly able to catch all of the show. After cleaning mashed potatoes and gravy off himself as best he could with 2 napkins, he then tried to help the servers pick up plates that were scattered across the floor. Did anyone offer us more napkins to clean up our clothing and seats? NO! Did anyone offer a kitchen towel or wipes to clean up a bit better than we were able to? NO! Did the manager come over to check on us to see if he was ok, at he was hit with a couple of the plates? NO! As my date continued to sit in mashed potatoes and gravy, afraid to get up because he did not know the condition of the back of his pants, I decided to find a manager in order to get a little help and to ask why we were not offered help in the first place. We were told "it was not his responsibility to ask customers of they were ok." Huh??? Isn't that the exact "thing" you ARE responsible for?? I was told that since he saw my partner helping the waitress clean up, he assumed he was fine and that all was taken care of... so he WATCHED us help clean up the mess and didn't come over himself??? I guess that wasn't his responsibility either. At the end of the show, the waitress "offered" a cash tray to all her customers with a little card in it asking for a gratuity. You dump food on us, don't even offer anything to clean ourselves up and you want a tip??? NO! As we walked out, we were confronted by her, asking why we had gone to the manager and why we did not tip her -- the answer to both is... 'cuz you dumped an entire tray of food on top of my partner!!! We were certainly not offered a refund despite not being able to even see much of the show -- I guess they keep refunds with the napkins, wipes and towels we were not offered either. Again, what we saw of the show was entertaining and I'm sorry the actors will certainly not benefit from this trashy review. read more

At the end of the day, it's nothing but a money hungry scam!!!! The show was amazing and the performers were incredible. The food was okay, about what you can expect from this kind of establishment. The service from the servers was alright. We're traveling so don't have physical card, American currency, and don't use apps like Zelle, or Venmo. After paying $400 for dinner and a show we were then held by our waiter after the show who claimed we absolutley had to tip them, which we offered to do through Apple Pay as that's all we had. The ONLY option we were offered were texting the waiters personal phone number (therefore giving him ours) so that he could take an Apple payment to his personal cell phone. When you pay $400 for dinner, you don't expect to be held down and hassled by the waiter you saw twice to give him your personal number for a "shared tip". After he coerced us into personally sending him money from our phone number he walked up to the fellow waiters and laughed while shaking the phone holding it up, therefore showing our number to more random people in a random state! Just horrible service for such an expensive dinner and show. Just go to medieval times!! There were about ten people there when we arrived and now I understand why! read more

Fun time with the kids. Lots of great entertainment. Be prepared to spend more on souvenirs and appetizers...it was a great time. We have older kids so we thought it would be fun, and we were right. Great time for family night out! Pros: show was good, very entertaining and lots of action. The food tasted good and large portions. Cons: my waitress was slow, but I noticed that the wait staff in the other areas were very quick, the drink options included with the tickets was only either water or Pepsi (I will say, I suspect the Pepsi, was purposely watered down), the audio for the show isn't too good so it's hard to understand what is happening in the show at times. read more
