I was allowed a taste and concluded this was an order well made. Unlike most Mexican food outings I ordered a birria burrito instead of carnitas. Wow, this burrito was truly impressive and so plentiful that I took half home in my eat-later bag. Ooooohweee the fish was so tasty, crispy, and well-seasoned I literally cleaned the fish to the bone (it did not die in vain). Texture was great, very fresh. Red snapper was an up charge, but even though I didn't try the tilapia, I think it was worth. Plantains and Jollof rice were fantastic as well. The service was good, I didn't get her name, a younger woman waited on me and she was very kind and did the best she could. The food came out super slow, I ordered empanadas to start, the waitress said they burned the first order (I appreciated that didn't just serve me overdone empanadas lol) once they finally arrived they were just unfortunately bland, and just kind of lacked authenticity. When she finally brought out my main dish, she even apologized for the wait and said "I had to go yell at them". For a main entree I ordered the French dip with onion rings, another reviewer mentioned they were the best they had had. The meat was kind of tough and dry (which is odd for a French Dip, and everything just lacked flavor. Even the au jus really had no kind of salt or much flavor to it. I really hoped after seeing how everyone else rated this place that I had found that little hole in the wall spot putting out killer food that we all long for, sadly this wasn't it.

I wasn't sure what was "Thai" about it because it tasted like a typical fried rice. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It had good flavor compared to the bland hotpot. At the time of my visit it was pretty empty and no one checked on us the entirety of the meal and I had to stand up to try and find a server to check out. Maybe the entryway blocks the view of the servers? Idk. The silverware was also dirty. Asked for a new spoon and there was a small food but stuck on it alongside my plate having some oil on it.
