Chimichurri steak with carrots potatoes and broccolini, and fettuccini with basil cream sauce and chicken
    Kathryn W.

We were excited to try this restaurant in downtown Erie which is a really charming location. Parking is a little difficult, especially if you're there during the majority of business hours. We snagged a reservation about 15 minutes before and were so glad we did because there were people waiting when we got there and by the time we left the line was wrapped around the top floor. To get to the restaurant on the second floor, we took a small elevator that was very slow and a little sketchy and made scary noises- not the sketchiest elevator we've ridden in but we were definitely ready to get off. There was an accessible bathroom on the first floor next to the elevator, with a fairly heavy door. To start the service was fantastic- everyone from the host to the waiter to the busboy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our biggest complaint is that the space was too crowded- they tried to cram too many tables into a small area to the point where an entire table had to move for the people at the table next to them to get up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was especially challenging for us with one wheelchair user. Multiple people had to move for us to be able to get through. The hallway to the bathroom was also blocked off for anybody using a wheelchair or walker by having a table placed in the space. Otherwise, according to the non-wheelchair user of the group, the hallway would have been accessible and the bathroom would have been spacious with a light door and a large bathroom stall and reachable soap. Would have been great if we could have gotten to it. We enjoyed the multiple nonalcoholic options on the drink menu. Most of the menu is gluten free. We started with burrata with balsamic and a green sauce- everything was good but the green sauce was a little overpowering which hid the flavor of the burrata. We also had a Caesar salad- the dressing was delicious and the greens were fresh, heads up it was heavily decorated with anchovies which could be a plus or minus depending on your palate. For our main course we had the chimichurri steak with potatoes, carrots and broccolini, which was the star of the night. The chimichurri was delicious. We also got the homemade fetuccini with the basil cream sauce- the sauce was a little underwhelming, and the chicken could have used a bit more flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]By the bathrooms, there is a cute little play room for kids with arcade games and toys, probably best for ages 8 and under.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The prices seemed a little high- it was $115 (without tip) for two nonalcoholic drinks, two appetizers, and two entrees. We would consider going back for lunch when the prices are more reasonable- and it would hopefully be less crowded

Amazing!!! I went here with my dad, who came in from out of town, and everything was amazing! Our waitress, Hope, was so nice and gave plenty of recommendations! I had the fettuccine alfredo, and it was literally my favorite thing I've had this year! We also ordered the espresso pie for dessert, again, AMAZING!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's in such a cute area and the ambiance is so cozy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 100/10 would recommend to anyone who asks!!

Absolutely love this place! Came for dinner on a Saturday. Thankful to make online reservations. They staff was very friendly and attentive and helpful. The decor was cozy. Very awesome the food is 99% gluten free. Made ordering and sharing food at our table super easy. I highly recommend eating here and I hope to be back! Don't forget dessert!

    Valentines special: Asada Argentina

We came here for Valentines Day and overall had a wonderful experience! We had reservations so not sure what the typical wait may be but I recommend making one just in case! Customer service was great, our waiter was super kind and attentive. The ambiance is very cute and cozy! The tables are pretty close together so it may be difficult to get items like walkers or strollers through the aisles. The lighting was dimmed later the evening got which was very nice!! The food is pretty great!! They offered special valentines menu which had a few entrees, dessert, and drink options. We both got steaks which were good cuts and cooked well. (I highly recommend getting the Spiced Apple Mule ;)) We finished with crème brûlée for dessert and oh was that delicious! Pricing of the food is on the higher end and overall I'm still contemplating whether it was worth it or not. However, the experience was great and the food was good! We would probably return!

Excellent food - delicious and beautifully prepared. Their outside patio is not huge but it is wonderful to sit out there.

I tiki ramen taco bar... and it somehow works!…read more I've been here many times. I like the tacos, my wife likes the ramen, and we both like the drinks. I like that the menu is constantly changing, so I can always try something new. There are usually a few staples, too. The tacos are priced reasonably so you can try several flavors. Every now and then there's one I don't like as much as the others, but that doesn't ruin the experience. The ramen is priced well for the amount you get, too. The only thing I consistently haven't liked is their guacamole. But I do like their avocado and salsas. They have a decent happy hour and, recently added, a "taco Tuesday." The kids menu options are pretty good, too. The hot dogs are a hit. Sometimes the buttered noodles are, too. The tiki drinks are great fun, and they're always trying something new. In the past, they've put lemonades in fun cups (like the hedgehog cup) so our kids can enjoy a "fancy drink." The service is pretty fast and consistent. They bring you a nice jug of water to help yourself with refills.

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

We made a reservation a couple hours before our arrival and it worked out great. Even though it wasn't super busy, we had a table waiting for us on the patio when we arrived. Our server was excellent. I think her name was Lucy. She did a great job explaining the menu and daily specials. She gave some solid recommendations and made sure we had what we needed throughout the meal. Our group started with the Rhode Island Calamari. Very good - no complaints. For entrees, our group ordered the Fish N Chips, Tuscan Chicken, Steak Frites, Mahi Fish Tacos, and the daily special which was a Surf & Turf. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The mashed potatoes which comes with some of the entrees is seriously so good - some of the best restaurant mashed potatoes I've ever had. The fish with the Fish N Chips was excellent. Both parties who got the Tuscan Chicken raved about how good their dish was. The fries were very tasty as well. Honestly everything was good. The only criticism was the Steak which came on the Surf & Turf was a tad over-cooked than requested. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Cake and the Crème Brûlée. Again, delicious. I would 1000% come back if I lived closer. Yes it's a bit pricier than your typical chain options, but I felt the quality of food and service was worth it.

First of all, I'll focus on the positives. Customer service is great. They always answer the phone and get our Togo orders right. They have a nice restaurant with a desirable back patio for dining which faces the mountains. Second, they have a decent beer and wine menu. Third, my Caucasian boyfriend who never had Thai food until last year loves the pad Thai and always orders it. However the pad Thai is a 3.5 stars out of 5 in my book. Fourth, I usually get the Panang curry which is good and consistent. Sometimes I get the Tom Kha soup, which is a small portion by the way, hence the $9. For spice level we usually get medium or medium hot, and it's got some fire to it. As for the rice, I swear that sometimes it arrives not entirely cooked (maybe 95%?). Nothing like having a few hard rice kernels but when you don't have a lot of options you're not too picky. As for the rest of the menu, they don't even have papaya salad. And the prices are really high. I am guessing it's high due to its location and high rent prices because $18 for mediocre pad Thai is ridiculous. Again, it's a convenience thing for my boyfriend and me and it's quick and easy. As long as one of us is happy and there is a quick Thai option in our backyard, this place works. I did recently however venture out and tried Khao Soi Thai in Lafayette which is about 10 minutes from Busaba. Hands down, my new go to Thai restaurant (as long as I don't mind the 10 min drive). The quality is much better and so are the prices.
