I first heard about Pisco Y Nazca through a Yelp event and then found out I live super close to this restaurant! My friend and I made a visit for lunch on a weekday. Plenty of public parking is available since this restaurant is located in a big plaza. The restaurant itself is kinda tucked in the back so it is not clearly visible when you are driving. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was not busy and my friend and I were immediately seated. I love the interior of this restaurant! I don't know if they do this during dinner, but during our lunch visit, they had the windows/doors open so it was a nice natural breeze coming through the restaurant on this sunny day. We were greeted with water and complimentary Peruvian corn snacks. Omg these are addicted. Lightly salted with a nice crunch, I can eat a whole bag of these. Our waiter was nice and attentive. He was able to answer any of our questions about the menu. I immediately knew what I wanted...my favorite Peruvian dish: Aji de Gallina! My friend also ordered it too because he never tried it before and knew that I was not going to share my favorite Peruvian dish with him. The food came out promptly and I almost forgot to take a picture for you all because I was too excited to dig in. The flavors were amazing! Everything complimented well and I give it total approval for this dish. Highly recommend this dish to anyone! Overall, I had a great lunch experience here! This is one of my favorite places to eat. The atmosphere of this place is really nice. The food is out of this world. In addition, this place has one of the best service in Miami. Almost every single dish that I have eaten from this place has been delicious. This is a place that you must try almost all of their appetizers because they are delicious. There was this one time where I went to visit and the waiter was trying to get information on my background so he can offer me some type of drink to get. I thought that was pretty cool. On another event, I wanted their dome dessert and another one so what they did is that they combine both of them for me. Talking about going above and beyond. Came here for lunch. Was unfortunately but fortunately for us empty. We sat at the bar and were served immediately by Chris. For lunch they have two menus: the first is their regular menu and the second is a prix fixed select menu. We both went for the lunch pre fixed. We were not disappointed! Great portions for lunch with a good price. Not to mention we were extremely full. I ended up getting the cremoso ceviche (which ended up being an error and they sent me a mixto STILL amazing) I also got the tuna tartar. The tuna was not what I expected but was very good and a different presentation of a tartar. The sauce on it was a great balsamic. Loved it. My hubby got the burger. I was apprehensive because a burger in a Peruvian place? But it was probably the second best thing we had (ceviche here is a ten). It was juicy and cooked perfectly. This place has gone downhill in the last year, the pisco sours are flavorless, all the managers that I have loved and taken care of me have left and the service has plummeted in quality along with the food. Starting with drinks they seem to be lifeless in comparison to what they used to be, overly sweet or made with little care while food is under seasoned and portions too little to even account for the price points. Only OK thing was the tallarines. Had a manager named Roberto come over to our table, he was unhelpful and uncharismatic and looked incredibly disheveled in appearance. Food was good the service was excellent, the only complaint we had my wife and I was the seating, the table for 2 were placed on an alley way which had too much traffic so we could not enjoy a peaceful meal, as servers and customers were constantly passing by, one of them almost nock down my beer glass. My friend and I were due for some much needed quality time together and chose Pisco and Nazca to meet. The location was perfect, easy parking and love the short walk to the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess and sat us down in seconds since my friend had made reservations. Once she went over the menu and made some recommendations I decided to order the Tallarín Salteado along with a red Sangria. Let me tell you, the food was amazing. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the meat was as tender as a filet mignon. The flavor was on point. I honestly can't describe it, other than tell you it was amazing. We came during happy hour so after a couple of sangrias and great conversation, I remembered why my friend and I enjoy each other's company so much. After a delicious meal it was now time for dessert, so we decided to share the crème brûlée with a twist. This dessert is made and adorned with golden berries, a great combination of the sweet and hint of sour. We really enjoyed the company, the amazing food but most of all we loved and appreciated the excellent service. Went for lunch with a friend and I got there a little bit earlier. I decided to sit inside and the tables were spread out. It took a few minutes to get the attention of the server. The food wasn't as good but this time I must say I don't know if they changed the cook or what but it was the best I've had. We always order the tequenos, tostones, lomo, and the pitcher of White sangria. It all came out very hot, was seasoned and presented perfectly. I'm so glad this location fixed the food. I'll have to come back to make sure but I really hope so. The service was really good and the food came out quickly. All of the staff was wearing masks and gloves and we felt very safe. I would recommend coming here for some good Peruvian food. The ambience is very nice and modern. The restaurant looked very clean when we went inside. There have both indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for indoor since it looked really nice inside. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. My appetizer, we got the ceviche sampler which came with 3 small portion of their popular ceviche flavors. I understand it was a sampler but for the price, I think it should've came with bigger sampler portion. I liked the fact that we could try out different favors but it is definitely better bang for your buck to get one big portion of one of their ceviche (cheaper and bigger portion size). Their ceviche was not the best. It was okay. My boyfriend enjoyed the passion fruit one but I thought it was a little too sweet. I preferred the cremoso. For entrees, I got the lomo saltado sandwich which was really good! Lots of favors in a sandwich but the amount of meat they gave you was embarrassing. They definitely skimped on the meat and the bread to meat ratio was not good. The fries was hot and crispy though. The dipping sauce was also good. My boyfriend got the tallarines a la huancaina which was amazing! It had a little kick to it which we enjoyed. A little skimpy on the meat again but I would recommend that dish. Next time I come here, I would get the lomo saltado dish in hopes that I get more meat than i did in the sandwich. For drinks, my boyfriend got the old fashion which he said was really good and he recommends it. For dessert we got the pionono a la mode, which was alright. I prefer a more moist cake and a creamier ice cream. I wouldn't come back for the dessert. Overall, I would recommend coming here. The restaurant is very nice and modern. Food was good.
