While this is happing a girl comes to sit next to me also on the corner seat at the bar. She joins the conversation and we are all laughing, drinking, have a good time. A guy came and sat next to her. He also joins the conversation and now we are the only people at this bar (it's like 12am now) just laughing having the best time. To cut that story short, the girl and the guy that sat in those seats next to me have been my best friends every since and I get to see them every single Tuesday usually also at Pistolero's. Definitely a great place to enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer on the patio. Staff took very good care of us. very clean. Now let's get to the nachos. However, they make their chips. All I can say is oh my God those chips where delicious just by themselves. I haven't had chips like that in a very long time. Can't wait to go back to have chips and queso. Parking is valet only, there's not really much of a parking area The restrooms were a little dirty and there is no his and hers. My experience here was pretty bad in the beginning. My party arrived at 6, and we were told it was an hour wait. We put our name on the list, however an hour later, we were still waiting. The hostess skipped over us and was calling several other parties. Her reasoning was the table that could accommodate us was still occupied. An additional 30 minutes later, we were still waiting outside. No one had come to update us. When we finally got inside, we saw that there were two women sitting at a table big enough for 10. That was the table they kept saying was unavailable. That didn't sit well with us, especially since they tried to seat us at a much smaller table which was very uncomfortable. Margaritas were $5 and pretty good. Mine weren't too strong, but a couple friends had extra shots added to theirs, which packed a strong punch. Almost all the tacos on their menu are $1 on Tuesdays, though they will be smaller than the standard size. They were solid though! Definitely worth the $1. Our server was professional and made sure all our needs were met. Overall the experience started of terribly, but it ended decently. The attitude from the manager when we voiced our complaints was very unsavory, so I still have to give two stars. It's a cool little casual spot with a good sized patio and somewhat cramped dining room, if you get there too late you may have to stand. Also the parking lot is mandatory $5 valet but I was able to find street parking one block over. I'd recommend valet cause it's not a pleasant walk over, even though it's short. The happy hour specials are REALLY cheap, my friends and I got $4 margaritas and sangrias & both were pretty good but a little too sweet for me and I feel like they were kind of weak. I'd probably get a double next time. The food specials were cheap as heck, $6 appetizers and $1.50 tacos on Tuesday but the tacos looked and tasted like $1.50, they were so tiny, bland and served without sauce. The appetizers were great though, the stuffed jalepenos and nachos were both amazing, especially for $6. Overall it's a really cheap place with a good vibe. I've been to pistoleros a few times for their taco Tuesday but this was my first time coming on a Sunday. They offer valet parking or you can try and find street parking but be cautious of the signs as they as they advise what times you are allowed to park. I came with my friend around 6PM and there was plenty of seating on the patio and also a few options inside. They had a DJ playing inside which you could also hear from the patio and they had televisions in case you wanted to watch any games. They had a happy hour menu which had pitchers of mimosas from 12-4 and also half priced appetizers and drinks from 4-8. We started with regular chips and queso but had to send it back because the queso was lukewarm. I usually love their chips and queso but my friend wasn't a fan of it. We ended up getting the nachos that were on the happy hour menu for $6 but if you want to add meat to it it's an additional $3. We also added the melted queso as opposed to shredded cheese which was also another $3. Lol seems like the happy hour meals are the basic options and you eventually have to pay extra for all the fixings but I was okay with it because our nachos were off the chain! We had already eaten earlier so that's all we had to eat. We ordered the frozen margaritas which were also pretty good but I'm not sure that I felt as tipsy as I wanted to after having two of them so for me they weren't the strongest Overall. it was a nice chill spot to come to on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends. Side note:the tacos on Tuesday's are now $1.50 and $2.00 for shrimp (haven't been here in a while so maybe this price has been like this). From what I remember of the tacos, they were pretty small and pretty standard. So if you order beef, it came with a little beef and lettuce but they are such a good deal and taste pretty good that you can't beat it. read more

Having never been here before, some friends and I decided to drop by for some happy hour margaritas. The house margaritas are $4, $5 with flavor (strawberry, mango, and peach). I had two strawberry margaritas and, after I tried the peach, wished I had gotten all peach instead lol. I ordered some tamales off of their happy hour menu as well and, not knowing what to expect, was pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. With each HH tamale order, you receive 3 tamales which you can order in pork, chicken, or mixed. I placed an order for 2 pork and 1 chicken and enjoyed them both. My favorite of the two was the pork. I found the servers to be patient and friendly, and it was a pretty chill spot so I'm definitely not opposed to dining there again. read more

This place is usually packed no matter what time you go on Tuesday evenings for the special, so be prepared to chill outside lol. It's either that or a wait for an indoor table, and my parties just always rather go outside for some reason. Anyway, the tacos are okay .. I've only ever some for the $1 specials but they're nothing to really go crazy about. The best one is actually the shrimp one to me (not pictured) and it's $1.50 I believe but its way better. I think my least favorite was the chicken. As far as the margaritas? ON POINT. The regular one is soooo good and I'm used to getting mine with some type of flavor (strawberry, mango, etc.) but when I tried the strawberry, it was too syrupy. Made it too sweet but this was after I bad tried a regular one so maybe if I had it first I would've liked it better. PARKING, man their parking gives me anxiety. I hateeee it lol but they have "complimentary" valet (we all know that means at least like $5 because they're going to remind you when you go to give them your ticket and once you take your keys) but yeah, I personally wasn't even about to try to figure it out.
