You walk in to a cute dining area- mismatched tables and chairs that work together! Order at the counter, get your drinks and either sit in or outside at picnic tables. Then wait for some of the best bbq in Portland. The brisket is fork tender, the chicken tacos are smothered in great slaw and pickled onions, the bbq beans have large chunks of meat and the smoked slaw has just the right amount of dressing on it - not swimming in mayo like other places. Inhale your food while trying to keep your table mates away from yours! Like the tables and chairs all the food served in comes in very cute mismatched dishes. I'll be back to try the Mac & cheese (sold out), smoked pickles and the key lime pie.

That was wonderful balance the heat just perfect, great size portion for lunch. While we were there friends ordered the Keylime pie. And the chef came out who makes it and let us know that she was interested in our opinion of it. It was spectacular it very, very much was a homemade pie you could tell it was not heavy . It is a very nice personable hidden gem. You can see into their kitchen from the dining room and for anybody who's ever worked in food service if you get a peak, their kitchen is amazing hundred percent well done.

Pictured is a "half pound of brisket" for $23.00 and 60%-70% of it is just inedible fat! What was edible (3.4 ounces), was honestly disgusting and looks nothing like the photos they show online, as you can see for yourself. $11.00 for a cup of sour smelling banana pudding that was immediately tossed in the trash. $4.00 for a "chicken breast" that was literally 2 bites... This is the second and last time we will ever order from them again. I have never been more disappointed in an order of food in my entire life. We spent over $70 for the brisket as shown, a small salad with 2 bites of chicken, soggy coleslaw and sour banana pudding. Beyond unacceptable! Never again and truly hope this saves someone else from the disappointment that Reverend's BBQ truly is. Complete waste of money! Edit: It has been about 45 minutes since I ate what little of the brisket that was actually meat and not just fat, and I am extremely nauseous. Not worth the money, disappointment or naseau. Just looking at the photo alone, I wonder why I even tried eating it. Absolutely disgusting.

The restaurant became busy a few minutes after we came in, but he handled the rush perfectly. The food didn't take long and my only complaint is honestly, I wish the cornbread was served warm. The mac bites were so cheesy and the breading was the right amount of crispy. The ribs themselves were not fatty and the selection of BBQ sauces was perfect--I loved the yellow bottle. The mashed potatoes were perfect as well. I just added a bit of salt and pepper and thought they were delish, they were just chunky enough. I definitely recommend coming here for BBQ that doesn't break the bank.

I attempted to untie the bag at the restaurant and check the order but the cashier hurried me out of the store instead. 4) I attempted 3 times to contact the management by phone and email and was completely ignored. They dont answer their phone or emails and the voicemail is always full. This place deserves "negative" stars, but since 1 is the lowest option that's what I'm giving them. In summary, avoid this place at all costs unless you are literally starving to death. Even then I recommend you go to McDonald's instead. At least its cheap and consistent. Screw you, Hog Wild!

On my visit, I opted for a two-meat combo, and waited for a lot longer than expected for my "food's ready" beeper to go off. When it finally did, the employee asked me if the beeper had been going off, and I told her "No, it just went off for the first time, so I came here right away". She said that she'd triggered it a few minutes after I placed my order, and that my order had been in the warmer since then. I'll chalk this up to a malfunction. The BBQ was competent, but nothing outstanding. Ribs were properly cooked, and reasonably tender. They're dry-rubbed, and saucing them can be done by the customer if they so desire. Pulled pork was devoid of chunks of fat and gristle, which is always appreciated. Sides were on par with the mains. The best part of the visit was the friendliness of the employee.

If I'm being honest, I hate using the word "cute." It feels like something you say about a puppy or…read morea teacup, not a place to grab a bite. But here we are Milwaukie Station Food Carts Pod & Beer Garden is... kind of cute. There, I said it. Tucked right next to the TriMet station, it sits in this neat little corner that feels clean, organized, and surprisingly polished for a transit-side stop. What immediately stands out is the lineup. Spots like Good & Evil Wrap Company (which, let me tell you, looks dangerously good), Puddletown Bagels, Kappany, and a handful of others give you a solid variety from Greek-inspired eats to bagels to Chinese food. Hoppy's Chinese was open and doing its thing, and I caught myself eyeing a Cali fruit smoothie that looked like it could save a hot afternoon. That said... a noticeable chunk of carts were closed, and it does take a little wind out of the sails when you're scanning options and hitting a few "nope, not today" moments. Now, location? Absolute win. Being right off the station makes this place a no-brainer if you're hopping on or off transit, or just cruising through Main Street. It feels like a built-in pit stop for commuters quick, convenient, and reliable when everything's open. The area itself is clean, with some small trees and a layout that feels intentional, not slapped together. Definitely not some run-down corner--this place is well-kept. But let's talk reality: it's small. And when the heat rolls in, this place turns into a bit of a sweat box. There are covered areas, sure, but not enough to really beat the sun when it's coming down hard. It's the kind of spot where you find yourself thinking, "Alright, I'm gonna grab my food... and retreat to the car like it's a survival mission." All things considered, I'd land this somewhere between a 3 and 4 stars. Cleanliness, location, and overall vibe? Easy 5. But the size, the number of closed carts, and the heat factor hold it back a bit. Still, I'll be back if for no other reason than to finally get my hands on that Good & Evil wrap that's been calling my name.
