The line was long but they have good food and offer service with a smile! Their app wasn't working, so I had to wait in line to order. All in all, the line moved pretty fast.

Healthy lunch after hitting the gym.

I came down here for lunch and a lighter option as opposed to the heavy meals I have been eating the past couple of weeks. (Hence, the recent check-in at Planet Fitness....). This Pita Pit is located a stone's throw away from Regal Cinemas and across from Pier 1 Imports in the large shopping complex at the end of Muldoon. The decision to come down here was an easy one. After getting one of their loyalty cards on a previous visit which has since been changed to an app for your phone, there have been some good deals sent to me by e-mail and the promise of a free drink with a purchase of a pita was too good to pass up. The seating area is the same as the other locations which means it can get pretty cramped during the lunch rush. The employees here are pretty friendly even during the stress of dealing with a line of customers. After hitting the gym, I needed a healthier meal with a good mix of protein and vegetables. I decided to try the Chicken Pesto Pita (chicken breast grilled in pesto, roasted red peppers, onions, feta, romaine lettuce, and Greek seasonings on a whole-wheat pita). This is one of several options on their new menu of Artisan Pitas. The wait can take several minutes since they do have a cafeteria-style setup for preparing orders cooking the meats on the grill while customers are standing in front of the counter picking out the ingredients they want before the pitas are ready. A wait like this was understandable around this time of day so that was hardly an issue. The Chicken Pesto Pita was delicious with plenty of red peppers covered in melted feta cheese as well as the Special Sauce (House Sauce that can be added on request with garlic) was a great complement to the pesto seared into the chicken. Other pitas listed on the new Artisan Menu include the Bacon Cheeseburger (steak, bacon, melted cheddar, iceberg lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions, mustard, light mayo and a maple seasoning), the Thai Chicken (grilled chicken in satay sauce, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, red and green peppers with mojito lime seasoning), and the Boom Boom Black Bean (veggie patty with grilled onions, melted cheddar, romaine, tomatoes, cilantro, green peppers, and boom boom sauce). A good option for a quick, healthy lunch.

Been meaning to try spot for a while. I'd heard they give to a lot of non-profit and community groups and I enjoy supporting those myself. Today we came in for lunch, Sunday, so not many people in the store. I went with the Gyro and my son had the club, both with chips and drink. My Gyro was delicious. Perfectly cooked lamb and beef with fresh toppings and a warm pita. I had it as advertised but not a fan of the olives, next time I'll do without. Otherwise, it was a good gyro. My son said his club pita was really good as well. Meant to take pictures of the sandwich but couldn't help but dig in when it www ready, next time I'll get one. The staff were all helpful and professional. The store was also clean and well stocked. Oh and these folks also give a 10% discount to military and veterans. Many places give to military but not always vets so this is a great reason to show these folks some love and go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Fine pita's. Good place for a quick bite if you tired of burgers or wings. Fast service. Prices though are a bit high.

So finding Turkish Delight here in Anchorage makes me incredibly happy! One of the things I loved most about Turkey was the culture around food and simply spending time together. It was never just about eating and leaving. You sit, talk, enjoy each other's company, and of course drink Turkish tea out of those beautiful little glasses. I have so many great memories of people simply bringing you tea and sitting together. There is something so warm and welcoming about that part of Turkish culture, and seeing the tea served that way here immediately brought some of those memories back. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, colorful, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The falafel with tahini was delicious, and the plate with rice, grilled vegetables, salad, bread, and all the different flavors reminded me why I love Turkish and Mediterranean food so much. There are also so many different options on the menu that I already know I need to come back and try more. The restaurant itself is bright, clean, comfortable, and has a really relaxing atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of place I would want to come with friends, order several different things, drink tea, share food, talk, and just spend time together. I feel so blessed and grateful that we have a place like this in Anchorage. It brought back some wonderful memories of my time in Turkey, and I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend Turkish Delight, especially if you love Turkish food or want to experience a little taste of Turkish culture right here in Alaska!

I would give this place more than five stars if possible!…read more I'm an absolute fiend for middle eastern and Mediterranean food. I grew up on gyros and when I travel, I often gravitate toward that style of cuisine. So when I say this is THE BEST chicken souvlaki I've ever had, I don't say it lightly. The chicken is extraordinarily tender and so well seasoned. The tzatziki is delicious. The sumac onion and lemon wedge are just the cherry on top. My personal preference would've been for a salad instead of fries for the platter ($26), but I also didn't ask for it, so that's on me. Dad had the spicy pork yerro ($19), and said it was "awesome." A combination of flavors you don't get often, and tasty to boot. We polished off the meal with the largest piece of baklava I've ever seen ($15). It sits in an orange blossom honey and is just as tasty as it looks. Dessert is definitely on the pricy side - we could've gotten outta there pretty reasonably without it. I'll be back to try more of the menu. Their dips look incredible and the halloumi yerro is on my must-have list. Service was decent but depended on the dining room and takeout situation since there's only one server. I loved the response I got when I called about their hours earlier. (The menu photos show a 7:30pm close while Yelp indicates 9:30.) The answer? 9-10 "depending on the meats." Hope these guys stick around because the food is incredible. Highly recommend!

The gyro was perfect, the potatoes and salad were delicious, and the custard dessert was out of this world. The service here is outstanding. It feels like getting lunch or dinner from your own Greek Papou. They are incredibly generous and welcoming, which makes the whole experience so special. To the people complaining about the prices: anyone who's been in Alaska knows that sourcing and buying quality food here is expensive for both restaurants and customers. The prices here are VERY fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. Yes, the restaurant is obviously small and tucked away in a little aged strip mall, but that is part of its charm. If you want authentic, incredible Greek food made with love, come here. Tip: If seating is tight, just get it to-go! We will absolutely be back.

As we were driving by, we noticed Antonio's and decided to stop in. From the outside--and even when we first walked in--the place was completely unassuming. To be candid, it looked a little worn around the edges. If you're someone who judges a restaurant by its appearance, you might keep driving. That would be a mistake. What followed was one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip to Alaska. We ordered a couple of items, but the owner insisted we try several additional dishes. As vegetarians, we're often limited when exploring new cuisines, but not here. Every plate that arrived was fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care. The experience was a revelation. It made me realize that I've probably never had authentic Greek food before. The Greek dishes I've had from chain restaurants, food courts, and grocery store offerings don't even belong in the same conversation. The ingredients tasted fresher, the flavors were more vibrant, and every bite felt like it came from a family recipe rather than a corporate kitchen. What elevated the meal even further was the owner himself. He spent time talking with us, sharing how he ended up in Alaska and telling stories about his journey. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. I've traveled extensively and eaten at restaurants across the country, and I can confidently say Anchorage is fortunate to have a place like this. Antonio's isn't just a restaurant--it's the kind of hidden gem that deserves national attention. Frankly, it belongs on a travel or food television show. If you're in Anchorage, do yourself a favor: ignore appearances, walk through the door, and trust the food.
