TUSCAN BAKE pasta, chicken medallions, capers, artichoke hearts, onions and tomates. Y U M!

Just happened to be hungry and passing by. And I am glad that I did! I ordered the Tuscan Bake and the Ravioli de Lemon. I'm only posting photos of the Tuscan Bake as my husband devoured his lasagne in record time! The bread sticks were delish! Just the right amount of everthing. My dinner was SO very tasty. Far above chain restaurant flavor! The drinks were large, the place was clean and the hostess and waitress were great and friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The portion size is large for certain! We didn't try any of the Greek food choices, only because we LOVE Italian!

Came in after doing a short hike at the Butte at 3:30pm. There wasn't a wait and service was prompt. We ordered the tzatziki appetizer - the pita was crisp and the tzatziki was fresh. I had the gyro dinner and my friend ordered the moussaka, which I never have had before. The gyro was pretty okay, lots of meat but lacking anything else. Could have used more onion and tomato because the meat was in abundance and overpowered it. I tried the moussaka, a Greek eggplant lasagna, and it was interesting. I wasn't expecting cinnamon in the sauce. It was nice, a little different but nice. I would come back again but it wasn't the best Greek food I have had for the price.

Really good food. The server was also knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered a specific spice level that came out perfectly.

There are small alcoves for quiet conversations and a large area that could accommodate larger groups or families. Surprise #2 - The artwork is fun! The ocean lover in me loves the wave across an entire wall. Surprise #3 - The food is tasty and fresh. Okay, maybe this shouldn't be a "surprise." I guess I just wasn't expecting such a delightful and diverse menu. Generally my thought is that we don't have any Greek food in the valley and that is false. Surprise #5 - Take out is fast and meticulous. I wasn't expecting anything but a breakfast sandwich (I don't think the menu mentioned anything else). But upon arrival at work I opened my box to find half of the juiciest orange I have eaten in recent memory. Surprise #5 - At this point, great service and an attention to detail and flavor shouldn't be a surprise. This unassuming cafe is worth a stop. Put it on your list to try!

I would give this place more than five stars if possible!…read more I'm an absolute fiend for middle eastern and Mediterranean food. I grew up on gyros and when I travel, I often gravitate toward that style of cuisine. So when I say this is THE BEST chicken souvlaki I've ever had, I don't say it lightly. The chicken is extraordinarily tender and so well seasoned. The tzatziki is delicious. The sumac onion and lemon wedge are just the cherry on top. My personal preference would've been for a salad instead of fries for the platter ($26), but I also didn't ask for it, so that's on me. Dad had the spicy pork yerro ($19), and said it was "awesome." A combination of flavors you don't get often, and tasty to boot. We polished off the meal with the largest piece of baklava I've ever seen ($15). It sits in an orange blossom honey and is just as tasty as it looks. Dessert is definitely on the pricy side - we could've gotten outta there pretty reasonably without it. I'll be back to try more of the menu. Their dips look incredible and the halloumi yerro is on my must-have list. Service was decent but depended on the dining room and takeout situation since there's only one server. I loved the response I got when I called about their hours earlier. (The menu photos show a 7:30pm close while Yelp indicates 9:30.) The answer? 9-10 "depending on the meats." Hope these guys stick around because the food is incredible. Highly recommend!

So finding Turkish Delight here in Anchorage makes me incredibly happy! One of the things I loved most about Turkey was the culture around food and simply spending time together. It was never just about eating and leaving. You sit, talk, enjoy each other's company, and of course drink Turkish tea out of those beautiful little glasses. I have so many great memories of people simply bringing you tea and sitting together. There is something so warm and welcoming about that part of Turkish culture, and seeing the tea served that way here immediately brought some of those memories back. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, colorful, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The falafel with tahini was delicious, and the plate with rice, grilled vegetables, salad, bread, and all the different flavors reminded me why I love Turkish and Mediterranean food so much. There are also so many different options on the menu that I already know I need to come back and try more. The restaurant itself is bright, clean, comfortable, and has a really relaxing atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of place I would want to come with friends, order several different things, drink tea, share food, talk, and just spend time together. I feel so blessed and grateful that we have a place like this in Anchorage. It brought back some wonderful memories of my time in Turkey, and I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend Turkish Delight, especially if you love Turkish food or want to experience a little taste of Turkish culture right here in Alaska!

The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

It feels like getting lunch or dinner from your own Greek Papou. They are incredibly generous and welcoming, which makes the whole experience so special. To the people complaining about the prices: anyone who's been in Alaska knows that sourcing and buying quality food here is expensive for both restaurants and customers. The prices here are VERY fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. Yes, the restaurant is obviously small and tucked away in a little aged strip mall, but that is part of its charm. As we were driving by, we noticed Antonio's and decided to stop in. From the outside--and even when we first walked in--the place was completely unassuming. To be candid, it looked a little worn around the edges. If you're someone who judges a restaurant by its appearance, you might keep driving. That would be a mistake. What followed was one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip to Alaska. We ordered a couple of items, but the owner insisted we try several additional dishes. As vegetarians, we're often limited when exploring new cuisines, but not here. Every plate that arrived was fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care. The experience was a revelation. It made me realize that I've probably never had authentic Greek food before. The Greek dishes I've had from chain restaurants, food courts, and grocery store offerings don't even belong in the same conversation. The ingredients tasted fresher, the flavors were more vibrant, and every bite felt like it came from a family recipe rather than a corporate kitchen. What elevated the meal even further was the owner himself. He spent time talking with us, sharing how he ended up in Alaska and telling stories about his journey. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. I've traveled extensively and eaten at restaurants across the country, and I can confidently say Anchorage is fortunate to have a place like this. Antonio's isn't just a restaurant--it's the kind of hidden gem that deserves national attention. Frankly, it belongs on a travel or food television show. If you're in Anchorage, do yourself a favor: ignore appearances, walk through the door, and trust the food.
