Hawaiian bowl. Unfortunately wasn't much food. Only a couple pieces of pulled pork. Took this photo after the first bite. Paid $15 for rice

I wouldn't recommend a bowl. Paid $15 for rice and 3 pieces of pulled pork. Get a pita not a bowl!

Filthy and dusty right over the food!!

Half a star. Food was horrible and the food was fermented from sitting so long. My wife is pregnant and was about to consume this horrible food. The manager Thomas needs to be held accountable for this. The staff there was so lost, customer service is very poor.

Good food, helpful patient staff, and quality was better than expected. They sure can fit a lot into a little pita.

My dude... Let me begin with their employees. They are always welcoming and super outgoing . They fill my pita with the perfect amount of sauce and overstuffs it beautifully . Each bite is amazing thank you for your service

Smokin' Chicken Bacon BBQ Pita (Wheat)

If your looking for something that is filling and has a bit of a kick to it, try the Smokin' Chicken Bacon BBQ Pita! The woman had asked me if I wanted Guac, Chips and a Drink? I said let's do if. I made no modifications to the pita because I wanted it how it comes. She asked if I wanted the cheese melted and that was a definite yez! Overall the pita was a bit spicy. I'm not sure if it was the BBQ sauce of the diced up Jalapeño's. Overall this is a "Subway" style, build your own pita. Price point is okAy, I would say you need at least a $10 bill for one pita but they are definitely jammed packed & make for a great dinner!

    Falafel wrap

I really really like the falafel wrap here, it's fantastic. You can taste all the ingredients and they blend together well. Bonus points for having Pocket Points rewards. I wouldn't recommend having a gyro or any other meat wrap though- because Ali Baba is right next door and this place just tastes cheap in comparison (hence the 3 star). I'm not even a vegetarian, I just think the veggie options here are fantastic.

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Pita Pit but I LOVE it (and from what I've heard the one in Chico is one of the better locations). My dad ordered a tuna pita once which looked disgusting, so I wouldn't recommend that. But here's what I get: Chicken Cesar (this just means chicken and bacon - it has nothing to do with Cesar dressing) with shredded lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, cucumbers, olives and LOTS of Teriyaki sauce. It's so yummy that I never stray from this order (although it might be good with pineapple and/or shredded carrots). Enjoy!

Found another great spot on Yelp…read more This place is a kind of simple, no frills place that has GREAT food. You can see their high quality meats they display in the cold case kind of like a deli (in fact I wouldn't be surprised if this was formerly a deli). You pick chicken, beef or lamb and how you like it (shawarma / wrap, on a plate) and minutes later you are served some absolute deliciousness. If you like Mediterranean food, you will love this place. I say this as someone from SF who enjoys some of the best you can get anywhere. This place is on point and I am contemplating ordering some for delivery on day 2 of my visit!

That lamb and beef? Thin-sliced, perfectly seasoned, with just enough crispy on the edge to make every bite count. Laid over a bed of fluffy golden rice, it was practically begging for that cool, creamy tzatziki and trust me, they didn't hold back. The hummus was rich and smooth, and the fresh chopped salad balanced out the plate like a well-packed saddlebag. But what really sealed the deal? The stellar service fast, friendly, and full of good vibes. They treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. And at just $13.99, this kind of quality and portion size feels like robbery... the good kind. So if you're wandering inland and your boots need a break, make your way to Ali Baba. Take it from the unofficial Cowboy Duke of Almost Everything on the Mendo Coast this place is the real deal. #CoastalCowboyEats #AliBabaChico #GyroGoals #MendoToChico #FlavorsWorthTheDrive #TzatzikiAndRespect #CowboyDukeApproved #LunchLikeARoyal
