Amazing. Tried for the first time last night. We it was a consistent talk that as a family we have a new dinner spot. Yes everyone loved the food. I had the combo over rice. Mediterranean food might just be one of my and my boyfriend's top pick when it comes to going out for lunch. Pick for this week's Mediterranean fix led us to this corner of Folsom for Falafel Corner. They're clean and offered fast and friendly service. Even though it wasn't a full service restaurant and we ordered food at the counter; we were checked up on a couple of times and even offered to try their specialty chai tea. Could they have sensed that we were both avid tea and coffee drinkers?! Lol Anyhow, the tea was yummy, scolding hot but def yummy. I think it was a blend of English Breakfast with cinnamon as the most prominent spice. Everything we ordered was super tasty and flavorful. I ordered the salad with added chicken because I'm on this keto thing but cheated and had a falafel. I could never pass up a falafel ever and I'm glad I didn't. They were super flavorful, the size of them were a little bigger than what I'm used to but nonetheless amazing. Overall, I will definitely be back to this corner of Folsom for my gyro fix and hopefully by then, the T4 a couple doors down will be open. :) read more

I am so sorry to this, but by far the worst Falafel I've ever tasted. I am middle eastern and I know my falafel and this is not it. Why is the outside so soggy, it needs to be crispy and the flavor profile - what kind of spices did you use. Why is it yellow inside? This is all so wrong on so many levels. Just so awful. read more

The service was prompt and friendly. This is a no frills place where you can eat in at a few tables or take your meal to go. Went here while waiting for my dog to get an ultrasound done (we're from out of town) on 4/7. Loved everything about it. Got the chicken over rice. I love chicken kabobs or Greek/Mediterranean style chicken so this was like heaven. They gave a good amount of chicken and rice which is hard to find at some places- definitely didn't skimp! Wish I had ordered extra pitas because the hummus was so good I ran out of pitas. Everything had great flavor and tasted amazing. I've been to the Natomas location a few times and if this place was half as good then I would be happy. This place didn't dissappoint. Ordered a BadMash Burger with Curly Fries and a Gyro Platter for my Wife. I was a bit weirded out when the woman at the counter kept pronouncing "gyro" like gyro·scope instead of like the "yee ro" which I'm normally accustomed to. Tables are a bit small. Service is friendly and food is great. I like the short and refined menu!!! Unfortunately I'm closer to the other locations and only come here when shopping at the outlets (about 20 minutes away). read more

Placed an order online today for everyone in my office. We accidentally used my personal credit card instead of the office business credit card. We realized right away and called to see if we could put the order on the correct card. They refused and told us we can cancel our order but would not give us a refund. The bill was over $100 dollars. Very poor business practice. Do not support this business. Greedy, disrespectful and all around very poor service. Food is not anything special. I don't even know where to start on how AMAZING their food is. Every single time I order pick up here it is fantastic. I get the chicken plate. Their tzatziki sauce is one of the best sauces I have ever had in my life. The rice is cooked perfect with wonderful flavor. Have not been here in a long time and now the name has changed. This place is serious lacking in organization and service. The older lady taking phone orders - wrote it down on a paper but didn't give it to the line cook so food was not made. Also saw her go from taking payment with gloves on to putting vegetables with her hands in the box. No gloves changed. Then while waiting saw her go out to the parking lot looking for a customer she gave the wrong order to hoping to retrieve the food back for another customer but couldn't find him. The line cook who is a much younger lady looks rightfully annoyed. Now she is yelling at the older lady telling her how many pitas per plate. Came here 15 minutes after phoning in and waited in store now 20 minutes and food not ready. If I hadn't paid for food already I would probably leave. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but couldn't. I noticed dirty rags and glass cleaner spray cans by the door. I hope this isn't what is being used to sanitize. I noticed more rags and spray glass cleaner on the counter. The young woman who came out from the back to help at the counter had her face mask below her chin and no gloves. The gyros are fantastic. Literally my new favorite place. Ate all my food and then thought that I should have probably taken a picture, but I guess I can just do that next time! I got a gyro wrap, falafel, chai tea, and dolmas to share with my coworkers and hands down, all delicious. First, the gyro wrap- let me tell you the pitas are so dang soft it's like a buttery cloud in your mouth. Delicious. The falafel was also amazing, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with this flavorful sauce on the side. Then the dolmas- just perfect to the T. The chai tea is unreal and I 10/10 recommend it, it puts any normal coffee shop to shame. And to top it off, some of the nicest staff I've ever met. It was the falafel of my dreams. I've only ever had very dry falafels, never in this style where it's so moist. I loved it. Delicious flavor both in the falafel and the sauce. I look forward to trying the gyro plate and burger sometime. This might be a new regular lunch spot for me. The falafel wrap was also huge! I was able to finish it, probably a little too easily, but it was definitely bigger than I was expecting which is always a plus. Update: went back for the falafel platter! I still need to try the meat options and burger which I'm really looking forward to. But the plate was a very generous portion. I had to take leftovers home this time! The rice was so good, I think it had fennel seeds and saffron. The little salad needed some more flavor, but that's the only negative I could say. Loving this place!
