I didn't order any coffee nor food items since this was my 7th stop at a coffee shop in the Overland Park/Shawnee Mission area. Met Jason the owner who was very friendly, hospitable and informative. He shared info about how he and his wife started this coffee shop about ) years ago pre-COVID. He also gave info where I can find a YouTube video about Kansas City coffee culture. This coffee shop is huge to have a gathering area with tables and chairs to mingle, play chess (met wonderful group of girls and one of the girls' mom, Jessie), work. There are even a couple of small rooms for you to work privately away from the main central space. They offer a variety of good items from pastries to crepes. I ordered the hibiscus lemonade which I can see why it's one of their popular drinks!

We absolutely love the atmosphere of this entire coffee shop! The crêpe was phenomenal, love the taste and lightness of the crêpe and for this reason alone with will definitely return. The coffee was okay but not great. It was heavy, even though we ordered it with 2% milk, it had the heaviness of whole or even half and half! Next time, we will try skim to see if it makes a difference. The service was great. We found that the person taking our order was sweet and calm and collected even for it being busy. Can't wait to try more crêpes.

Coffee! I smell coffee! Just love the name. This establishment site says it's family owned.. I've seen the name before which why I stopped in. The layout of the coffeehouse is brilliant! There's two sides to it where the order & pickup counter, seating and food service provided and the other, called The Gathering Place, provides a more cozy & intimate area for conversation and 2 office style rooms for anyone wanting privacy for work. The place is very plant friendly with uplifting wall quotes as decor too. The menu is pretty vast with coffee (quite a collection to try), tea, other drinks frappe, Italian drinks, smoothie and then there's food , not just the muffin, croissant or breakfast sandwiches.. crepes seemed to be their specialty. Well I liked the vibe and ambiance of the place. My caramel latte ( generic I know) wasn't too bad either. They make their own syrups.

Came in today before work for a pick me up! I was instantly surprised by the adorable coffee shop tucked away in a somewhat unassuming strip mall type area. Upon entering, the staff were so kind and welcoming immediately while still giving me time to check out the menu and pastry case. I ended up ordering an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. It was served up quickly but I had a chance to meander around while I waited, this place has a whole extra seating area with little study/call rooms! The coffee was GREAT. Full of flavor and not over the top sweet, but for those with a sweet tooth they have extra sweetener at the self serve station. I'll try a pastry next time i'm in, they have a lot of great gluten free options. Highly recommend!

Great coffee and great space to meet friends, colleagues, work/study remote for the day or just hang out. The coffee is always spot on. I get a Breve every time... the 1/2&1/2 to espresso ratio is perfection. Not too hot with delicious creamy foam. Grab a coffee flight to try a variety of drinks and they have a breadth of food options as well. I haven't tried the crepes yet but they are made to order and look amazing. Give this place try for a morning cup of Joe, brunch or an afternoon pick me up.

This visit I had pour over coffee--something I hadn't tried before: House Blend (beans from Brazil if memory serves me correctly). Delicious!! The Veggie Burrito was tasty too! Service was fabulous--Layla (sp?) and Emma were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Wasn't too crowded when I arrived, but did begin filling on my way out. Great place to have a beverage and noshes and play games with friends if one wanted. They fortunately have Apple Pay; nice, since I unknowingly left my wallet at home, and thankfully had my phone.

My friend and I are doing our own Java Journey in the KC Metro. We are trying to visit coffeehouses that one or neither of of us have been to. Last Thursday was week 1, and for our 1st stop we went to Brew Haha Coffeehouse and it was wonderful! The coffeehouse was decorated so nicely and was very inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee flights and crepes were amazing! For non coffee and/or crepe lovers, they also have breakfast burritos, pastries, smoothies, tea, other beverages, and mocktails In coffee cups, I give it 5 out of five coffee cups! * If you love coffee and quaint coffeehouses, give it a try!

I was looking for a coffee shop in the Overland Park area one weekend morning and ended up stopping by Brew Haha. This cafe had a ton of people sipping on coffee and enjoying friends/family company in each room and on the patio. Brew Haha serves coffees, pastries, and mouthwatering crepes! This coffee shop is a great place to work remote as well! The decorations are modern and the environment feels happy! If you are looking for a local coffee shop in Overland Park, make sure to see Brew Haha to your list of "Must See's in KC"!

The food was AMAZING! The poptart was to die for. My husband and I were stoked that our son wouldn't try it lol The people behind the counter were so pleasant. Def made my experience. Fun places to sit all over. Couches, comfy chairs and diff size and kind of tables. We played some fun games. Dr. Seuss matching game and Chutes and Ladders. Had games for all ages...fish tank was a great distraction for my little too. Will be back here every time we visit our family here now. Yay!

Really adorable coffee shop. If u like plants, they have a lot to admire! If you like pastries, there are very attractive options. The coffee is good. The ambiance is inviting. The lemon lavender scone was good, but the texture was a bit cake-like. Maybe I'm not that big on scones. The brown sugar cinnamon homemade pop tart had great frosting. The texture was a bit chewy but the flavor was really tasty. I'd get this again.

What a cozy coffee shop! Fantastic selection on food and pastries and coffee/teas! Was immediately greeted upon walking in and service was quick and kind! Love the decor and the space!!!

Brew Haha is a charming mom and pop coffee shop located in an unassuming strip mall near 103rd and 69 Hwy. I first found out about Brew Haha via their mobile coffee truck as for a summer or two, especially during covid, they would come and frequent our neighborhood on Saturday mornings. I can't tell you how many times I walked by kicking myself for not having any cash or credit cards on hand.. and also for not setting up my Apple pay! Needless to say, they have been on my list for a while so I was excited to give them a try recently. Firstly, I'll say that the strip mall they are located in is pretty abysmal. It really gives off end times vibes with vacant or really random neighboring shops. It's near Skate City, which if you grew up in or around Overland Park, you know all about this from school pizza and skate parties. Sadly, not much has changed in this little area off the highway since the 90s and it shows. I think this is potentially why I hadn't ever tried this place up until now, there really isn't anything around it that I frequent. What this location does have going for it though, is how easy it is to get to it from the highway. If you're in the area or even just passing through, it would be very convenient pitstop. All of this being said, when myself and a friend stopped by on a Sunday morning it was PACKED, and I'm not exaggerating. I was frankly shocked because there isn't much happening around here, and I quickly realized it's because all the cars in the large parking lot were clearly for Brew Haha. I think locals who live in the surrounding neighborhoods (maybe even my own neighbors) have developed something of a cult following for this little hidden gem. I think the look of surprise was evident on my face, because a few folks had looks like, oh this is normal, what were you expecting? haha. The line went fairly fast and I was really impressed with the down home feel of the place, the amazing looking pastries, and the staff. The woman working the counter I think must have been the owner. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and really just great at what she was doing. To me, this is their biggest strength - they clearly are a coffee shop with incredible heart and dedication to their community, which I really love. My friend and I both ordered the speciality Irish latte and while I liked it, it was a tad sweet for my taste, but it certainly did taste good. Overall, I liked the coffee, I didn't love it, but I'd love to come back and try again, especially if I spot their coffee truck in my neighborhood, now that I have Apple Pay set up!

Yes, $9. That's on the expensive side for a latte, so I went in with pretty high expectations. Everything about the experience was quick and efficient. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to sit outside. My first sip immediately stood out because of the texture. It was probably the smoothest coffee I've ever had; silky, creamy, and almost pillowy on the tongue. Unfortunately, that's where most of my praise ends. The coffee itself tasted fine, but nothing about the flavor stood out, especially considering the price. I ordered a vanilla latte, but I couldn't taste any vanilla at all and got virtually no sweetness from the drink. Overall, it's not bad coffee by any means, and the texture was genuinely impressive. But for nearly $9, I expected a lot more flavor. I don't regret trying it, but I wouldn't come back at that price point.

They have an outdoor couch by the front door that people can use. I'm not sure if they share the patio seating with Jason's deli next-door. The only suggestion I have is that the floor needs to be swept more often because each time I've been in there's quite a few crumbs. Also, the couch probably needed to be vacuumed and the cushion straightened.

Their other location has colorful seating, artwork, with tables & chairs woven into a forest-like wonderland of plants. This one? A table. A gray backdrop. Sure there are plants, but they're a ways away and it felt more like hanging out in a midwestern garage. The other issue that has me knocking it down some stars is that this has become THE place to get warm. Sure we have our furnaces blasting in January, or a fireplace roaring, but you know that kind of late spring, humid warm? This is usually it, but I have to say I was borderline cold on my last visit. It felt clammy and more "March spring" than "May spring." Coffee is EXCELLENT from Thou Mayest, and it's hard to go wrong. Wifi was not all that strong and ran into a few issues on a video call, but is relatively sufficient for most day-to-day work items if you choose to work from here. If it's equidistant, I would say go to the Shawnee location for sure. If this is the closest one, it's not all bad, but I would love to see some real warmth and color in here to help complete the escape-winter-energy that we all need during this cold, gray stretch.
