All My Sons Moving & Storage

    (166 reviews)

We moved in August 2025 with All My Sons and had a subpar experience. I was very transparent about…read moreeverything that needed to be moved and even mentioned 3-4 men would probably be sufficient for our move. They sent out 2 movers and a move that should have taken 3-4 hours was stretched into 6 hours and we were charged multiple times during the job for the added on time they took. They also ended up breaking one of my plastic bins with my belongings inside and didn't offer any remediation for it nor did they notify me (I found it after the move was done). Very disappointing experience!

I waited awhile before writing this because I genuinely needed time to process how fucking…read moreridiculous this experience was. I wanted to make sure I fully understood just how bad the value was before I said anything. And honestly? I feel completely scammed and played. First of all, I was NOT given the actual details of how far these movers were from me. I was told they were "located in San Marcos." Okay... then why the hell were they driving to downtown Austin to move me? That made absolutely no sense, but I didn't think much of it at the time bc from my understanding that was the least of my worries. Then I get charged a random driving fee for them getting to me. I was completely blindsided. The guy expressed he explained this one the phone but no the fuck you didn't. I would have canceled right then and there. But Fine still thought max I would pay plus gratitude was 400. But the worst part was I was moving into an apartment literally about 10 feet away from where I was already living. I barely had anything to move, which I specifically told them. Yet they showed up with a MASSIVE truck that I didn't even need or use. Then somehow, after TWO HOURS of moving a very small amount of stuff literally 10 feet away, the bill came out to around $600 PLUS gratuity. $600. For moving my stuff 10 fucking feet. What exactly was I paying for? A luxury relocation experience? A parade? Were they supposed to do backflips while carrying my boxes? Maybe make me dinner afterward? Because for $600, the expectations apparently should've been Cirque du Soleil. And here's what really pissed me off. When I gave feedback and said that customers should at least be given a realistic estimate or ballpark price BEFORE agreeing to the service, the representative basically told me, in so many words, that if they told customers the actual price, nobody would book them. Well... fucking exactly. If I had been told beforehand that moving my small amount of belongings approximately 10 feet was going to cost me around $600, I would have said ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT, BETTY CROCKER. I would have told those movers to turn that giant-ass truck right around, drive back to the North Pole or wherever the hell they came from, and stay in their own damn area. Instead, I was hit with random fees that were never clearly explained upfront. And when I mentioned that I had receipts and questioned the charges, suddenly the representative was ready to offer me a 10% discount. Oh, NOW there's flexibility? That makes the whole thing feel even worse. Customers should not have to argue, present receipts, or threaten to leave a bad review before suddenly being offered a discount. If the charges are legitimate, explain them clearly from the beginning. If they aren't, don't just throw random bullshit onto the bill and hope people pay it. And the attitude from the representative made everything even worse. Instead of actually listening to my concerns or showing even a little empathy, I was met with an attitude that was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Maybe take a fucking Xanax, calm down, and learn how to speak to people who are rightfully questioning why they were charged hundreds of dollars for a move that took two hours and went basically 10 feet. I genuinely feel terrible for the actual workers because this is not their fault. To the movers: PLEASE QUIT AND FIND YOURSELF A BETTER COMPANY TO WORK FOR. You deserve better than working for a company that leaves customers this pissed off and apparently leaves employees to deal with the fallout. As for the representative: you were by far the worst part of this experience. Telling a customer that you don't give them the "legit" price because otherwise nobody would book you is an absolutely insane thing to say to someone who is already upset about being overcharged. I am beyond disappointed with this company. The lack of transparency, the unexplained fees, the ridiculous price, and the way my concerns were handled were completely unacceptable. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. If you're considering booking them, ASK FOR THE TOTAL PRICE AND EVERY SINGLE FEE IN WRITING BEFORE THEY TOUCH YOUR STUFF. Otherwise, you may end up paying hundreds of dollars and wondering what the hell you just got charged for. I would never use this company again, and I would strongly encourage anyone else to think twice before giving them your money. I hope this company gets sued or goes out of business. Sweet dreams. And if I could give this negative stars it would be so far back in the negatives it wouldn't be able to ever recover.

Move was on 6/5, here was my conversation with Tristen the next day:…read more Yesterday's move did not go well. The team sent was incredibly slow. I understand that it's hot out and in no way is it acceptable that I was working harder and faster to move my belongings. Additionally, I was charged for 4.25 hours of work on top of the $160 travel fee? Why am I essentially getting charged for both travel and workers? Not to mention that your guys went to the wrong address for delivery at first so I'm getting charged for incompetence and slow workers? Also one of the guys took a 10min+ bathroom break at my new apartment. I get that nature calls and I also think it's reasonable to take breaks like that off my bill. Had I not been working as much as I was to move my stuff (both to the truck and from it) I would have had to pay for another 1-2 hours of labor which is absolute robbery. Please let me know what can be done to make this poor experience right. Tristen on 6/5: Hi Sean, I'm sorry to hear this. I will look into this and I'd like to follow up with you on Monday. Tristen on Wednesday, 6/11: Sean, do you have any photos or videos that show the crews inefficiencies? I am trying to corroborate this with the crew and dispatch manager but I don't have much to go off of. To follow up on the travel charge- that covers the time spent driving to the load location and back from the unload location, fuel expense, use of the truck and tools and equipment that we use during the move. ------- Pictures and additional text conversation included. Absolutely terrible actual service which matched the customer service. My favorite is where the team lead told me that they went to the wrong location and that it would be an hour to get to me despite me giving him the exact address and the apartment complex. I also gave them my address about 10 times when requesting and signing off on service so being charged for their inability to put in an address adds to the shi!show that it was to hire this company.

RUN FAR & FAST (AWAY) FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!! DO NOT…read moreSTOP. DO NOT GO. DO NOT CALL. -5 STARS IF THAT WERE POSSIBLE. This location is an absolute RIP-OFF. I've used Two Men & A Truck seven or eight times over the years, across multiple states, and never, not once; have I experienced anything remotely close to what I endured on 12/17/2025. This franchise should be shut down, full stop. I never even thought to check reviews because my past experiences with this company have consistently been excellent. In fact, my previous move into Austin was outstanding, fast, efficient, detail-oriented, and professional. I was so impressed that I tipped each mover $100 and even gifted them brand-new clothes and shoes that had belonged to my late brother. That's the level of appreciation I normally have for this brand. This move? A complete disaster. The two movers, Austin and Fernando, were pleasant enough on a personal level but professionally, it felt like I was watching two people move an apartment for the very first time. Fernando tried to keep things moving, but they were completely out of sync because Austin simply could not keep up. Let me be very clear: This was a one-bedroom, first-floor apartment, moved just over TWO MILES away on the SAME STREET, into a second-floor loft. Total time? Almost FIVE HOURS. They complained about long walkways yet arrived without the proper equipment, which slowed everything down to a crawl. And to make matters worse, they didn't even move all of my belongings. I still have items left at my old apartment, costing me more money daily because I still have not been able to turn in the keys. I also lost a full day to move the rest of my stuff because I had to go to work. Everything was boxed and ready before they arrived. Yet Austin spent an excessive amount of time shrink-wrapping items furniture as if we were transporting things across state lines. We were moving down the street! The pace was so painfully slow that I eventually told them to only move the large items and I would just move the rest of my things myself. Now let's talk money. I was charged $160 per hour PLUS a $160 trip fee. WTF?????????!!!!!!!! Yes, read that again. The total came out to $1,040.00. I have never paid anywhere near that amount for a local move; ever. When I complained, and when my mother complained, we were met with passive-aggressive disrespect from the Operations Manager who came out to the site, he was so disconnected it felt like talking to a Charlie Brown character; nothing but noise, no substance. Then I was escalated to "Good Olé Patronizing Tristan," who proudly identified himself as some sort of Director. I could not tell. He handled my complaint with zero care, zero accountability, and maximum condescension. His response? "We're just having a conversation." No, Tristan; we were not. You were deflecting. You and your staff are incompetent. This clearly isn't his first time treating customers this way. He knocked $200 off the bill, leaving me to still pay $800.00, despite the fact that not all of my belongings were moved. Let me be blunt: It's very easy to be smug and disrespectful over the phone. That behavior is cowardly, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Be careful the energy you throw out because you will be faced with it right back if the lessons in customer service are not taken a round turn on. I contacted corporate and filed a complaint; only to be routed right back to Tristan, even after clearly explaining that he was part of the problem. I did not want to speak him but in that money I tried. He did not. "There is nothing more we can do!" I am definitely reporting this franchise to the BBB. They cannot keep operating in this manner. And I'll say it again for emphasis: I WANT MY MONEY BACK. YOU DID NOT RENDER QUALITY SERVICE. If you value your time, money, or sanity; RUN. AND FAST!

They sent Terrick and Xavier out to do the move and in two hours they loaded everything we really needed on the first move (all the heavy wood furniture), plus a bunch more we didn't think would fit, then a bunch more just to help clear out the house. It was 94° outside here in Georgetown, and had a 'RealFeel' of 104°... man, those guys worked their butts off in that heat. They did a fast job, a very good job and were friendly as could be. If he hates people so much why is he in a service industry? I stupidly suggested ogreman movers to my parents when we were looking to relocate the contents of our family home. Our credit card was "accidentally" charged twice. Dave has been absolutely abhorrent in the handling of the situation, especially after the bank (rightfully) reversed the extra charge. He has been completely unprofessional; extremely hateful and has continued to call my dad repeatedly to threaten and berate him. Like actual name calling and threats bordering on elder abuse. Dave is totally unhinged. Claiming we never paid him...reading other reviews it seems to be his go to scam....His treatment towards paying customers and humans in general is absolutely frightening. He is participating in actual extortion. Stay away from this scam artist.

They managed to destroy 2 family heirlooms and eventually held my belongings hostage, refusing to respond to emails/calls until I started messaging people on LinkedIn. Because they refused to deliver my furniture or make any accommodations, I had to schedule a second cross-country move just for the furniture in my Clutter unit. Their day-to-day employees are nice (shout-out Grace!) but their middle-management is dismissive, does not care at all about customers, takes no responsibility for their company's mistakes, and hides behind their "corporate policies". Using clutter cost me thousands of dollars more than it should have. It is extraordinarily exasperating. I cannot fathom how they remain in business and assume they'll go bankrupt soon. I truly never leave negative reviews, ever, but I despise this company with a passion. Do not use them under any circumstance. Don't believe me?
