As a retired civil engineer with 35 years of federal service, I have performed construction management and other contractor related duties throughout my career, so I'm not new in this arena. In that regard, Danny, the owner of Advantage Asphalt, exceeded all my expectations from the very beginning and beat out several other asphalt contractors costs by over 25%. His attention to my customer needs was truly appreciated and was further highlighted by the professionalism and expertise of his company employees while performing the work. He came out for a site visit the day I reached out to him, created a comprehensive costs estimate, submitted it online the next day, answered all my questions and appeared very knowledgeable about what was needed to do the job. At my request, he came out for a second site visit a few days later to review the work with me so I was sure he had captured everything, especially since all other estimates were several thousand dollars more. During that meeting, I agreed to perform the work and he set a date of Wednesday October 16th. While observing the work, I paid attention to how well his crew coordinated their efforts and was extremely impressed at how professional they were and how quickly that got my entire driveway resurfaced, widened the parking pad, and installed a drain, without any problems or additional costs. Danny himself was on equipment for most of the day as well to ensure the finished work met my needs. Who does that? Two of my neighbors saw the finished work and have asked Danny to do driveway repair work for them as well. Look at the state of my house - it's a disaster. This company wanted put a mechanic's lien on my house, collecting over $100,000 for a partially livable house with only one functioning bathroom and a partially functional basement bathroom due to leaks around the tub from their failure to grout. Mind you they got paid every single dollar and then some old to them but I have to use the bathroom in a whole in the floor like I'm in a African jungle because that's how they left my bathroom. And other parts of my house. I'm constantly chasing vermin bugs and anything else coming into my home because they left my damage door like that. Instead of them doing the work like they were supposed to do they sat on their ass and did nothing until the last minute and crammed months of repairs and two three days. 3 days and they feel they even deserve even more than the $100,000 plus amount We don't even have a functioning powder room because they damaged the toilet, broke it, and the water has been turned off for 2 years to prevent more flooding in the house due to their work. Our dishwasher isn't functioning properly because they allowed their workers to dump trash, dirt, paint, chemicals, and mold down our dishwasher, damaging it. Our deck is damaged because they allowed their workers to dump heavy equipment, paint, wood, and other items, making it unsafe to stand on. I've been going through pure hell from this entire situation, and I'm walking away with pain and suffering. As I said before, run, don't walk, run, especially if you are a woman of color.

We had the windshield replaced on our 2020 VW Atlas. It has components that require calibration…read moreafter a windshield replacement. Glass Impressions could not calibrate and DID NOT TELL ME. So the electronics would not work and I had to take it to the dealer. They charge $650.00 to calibrate. I paid the $650 in addition to the windshield cost. This is so wrong. Safelite was about $150 more, but they calibrate. The windshield leaked after installation so they came back to fix the leak. Leaks can happen, I get it. That added insult to injury.
