The sign above our table said, "Great food. Great people. Ugly building." Nothing could be a better slogan for this hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Pitt's Stop serves down-home American breakfast cuisine. While it won't win a Michelin star, its tasty food comes in tummy filling portions, and is perfectly priced -- the "Amen" omelet was outstanding. Pitt's Stop is also dog friendly. Our pup got free fried chicken and a lot of love from staff and visitors. You'll feel like family in moments, leave with a smile on your face, and want to tell everyone to support this Sacramento gem.

A friend recommended this place. If youre not careful you can easily pass it on by. Cute little diner with great customer service. Prices are reasonable and good is good. I had bacon and eggs with white toast and a hot chocolate. Hit the spot.

My husband and I had a day off together and some time to burn so we wanted to go to breakfast. I've wanted to try this breakfast diner, so today was the day! I ordered a cheese omelette with hash-browns and white toast. I wish the hash-browns were crispy - I know to ask next time! Also, the toast had a margarine spread that pretty thick and tasteless- next time I will ask for real butter. My husband's colossal of a meal was the big guy omelette just loaded with everything you could imagine. He was in heaven with its' wonder and accompaniment of home fries and biscuit with gravy. The food overall was great! The diner is a dive, it is cute and quant. The bathrooms are located outside, they were dingy, dusky, and so small - more like an outhouse almost. The staff were very friendly and professional!

Food was delicious, portions were hearty, service was excellent, small diner but cozy. Staff was pleasant and a joy to talk to. Will be going back.

Delicious home style cooking with very large portions. Located in a very easy to miss tiny parking lot that provides parking in the rear but the main entrance and the complete other side of the building it can be easy to miss this spot. Once inside there are a few seats right at the bar countertop then the remaining ones tucked in the back. The service was too notch. Our way was very attentive even though she was the only person to service the entire dining area. Our food was absolutely delicious. Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for some of the best bacon gravy.

Great little hole in the wall spot! We have lived just a couple miles away for almost 10 years but this was our first time in. We sat at the counter and had friendly service and a great breakfast. I was excited to order a veggie omelette and actually get lots of fresh veggies inside! Our coffee cups were always kept full, too.

They're CLOSED Wednesday and Thursdays. I love this place so much, the owner is sweet. Her granddaughter is a server here , she's just as nice . It's clean little restaurant right across the Goodwill Bins and shares a building with a tire shop. Once I came and my car died, they gave me a jump . Another time I came and brought a friend they forgot to hold the mushrooms and once the server realized that, they made her a new one. I loved how it wasn't awkward after lol.

I will be coming back for the food and because of Domingo. We ordered beignets and biscuits. I recommend both but the biscuits are my favorite with the honey butter that comes with it. I got the Porch Mary Bloody Mary and it was good wish it came with a slice of bacon though. For my entree I ordered the ham Benedict. It's not my first time here and definitely won't be my last. We were seated outside which was lovely, especially given the weather and the slight breeze. I appreciate that they offer an option for reservations. Many brunch places do not do those nowadays, which I hate. Every brunch requires a coffee. I appreciate that they do lattes here, rather than just hot or iced coffees. They had some unique syrups, such as bourbon caramel and praline. The syrups were on the more subtle side, which some people prefer. I am not one of those people, but it was a good latte for a breakfast/ brunch spot. I wish there was more ice tho.  The skillet cornbread with sharp cheddar, creamed corn & garlic, honey butter & house made seasonal jam on the side was a great starter dish. I enjoyed the garlic and cheese. The temperature/ toastiness of this was yummy.  We couldn't decide between the cornbread and the sticky bun, so the only obvious solution was to order both. The topping of the sticky bun was delicious. It was almost pecan pie adjacent.

They have the perfect Thai-style steak salad, French toast, and Eggs Benedict. Those are the three dishes we always order every time we visit. The food is very reasonably priced considering the generous portions you get. The atmosphere and ambiance are also very nice. The outdoor area is a relaxing place to wait when the weather is good. They even have outdoor heaters in the winter and water sprinklers in the summer, which I think is very thoughtful. The only downside is the wait. It can take around an hour to get seated, but honestly, I can understand why. The food and service are amazing, and I would always be happy to wait and continue supporting this restaurant.

Our group ordered a variety of items and most were happy with their orders once they received what they ordered. One friend ordered hard eggs with a side of fruit but was served runny eggs with a side of potatoes. As soon as the server was notified, it was corrected. Eggs were still a little too runny for her, lol. Hubby and I shared a chicken and waffles and burrito. It's a vegan burrito, but decided to add cheese. We enjoyed both plates, specially enjoyed the complexity of flavors in the chicken and waffle with the fig syrup. Will say portions were huge. He ordered the old-fashioned, which was initially very buzzy. About halfway into it figured out it wasn't stirred, leaving all the sweetness on the bottom and booze on top. We opted for the first available table, which was outside. Could use a few more umbrellas for better sun protection, but we managed. Overall good experience, would be nice if they took reservations. Not sure if I'd do it again due to the long wait and everything was very good, but not exceptional.
