The checkout employees took an unusually long time to process our order and provided inaccurate information. We were told that the fountain would be delivered and assembled, and we specifically emphasized that we needed it as soon as possible because we had an event scheduled for Saturday. We were also told that someone would call us with a delivery date. By Sunday, we still had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status of the order. I was placed on hold and never transferred. When I called again on Monday, I was told that a forklift had broken down and deliveries could not be made. I also learned that the notes on my order incorrectly stated that I wanted the fountain delivered by Saturday, when in reality I had clearly explained that I needed it delivered before Saturday. From that point on, I had to follow up daily through Wednesday just to get updates on my delivery. When the fountain was finally dropped off, I discovered that it would not be assembled as originally promised. To make matters worse, despite the delay, the display fountain had not even been cleaned before delivery. I understand that it was the last one available, but I would have expected it to be cleaned and presented in acceptable condition. Instead, I paid full price for a fountain that looks like something purchased secondhand on Facebook Marketplace--and honestly, I've seen items there in much better condition. Overall, the lack of communication, inaccurate information, repeated follow-up required on my part, and poor condition of the product made this a very disappointing experience.

Even though there were instructions by scanning the bar code on the device, he took the time by demonstrating how to use it and what soap I needed. The rug doctor did an amazing job and easy to use. It is now my go to for carpet cleaning.

I purchased a GE appliance from Lowe's with the expectation of quality, reliability, and support. Instead, I received a defective product and have been caught in a nightmare cycle of poor customer service, long delays, and finger-pointing between the two companies. Lowe's, you were quick to take my money but have done nothing to stand behind the product you sold me. Your "customer support" has been nothing short of dismissive and useless. Every time I've reached out for help, I've been bounced around, left on hold, or told to "contact the manufacturer." GE, your product FAILED. And your response? A technician visit with weeks of delay and zero urgency to fix what should never have been broken in the first place. No accountability, no compassion, and no resolution. The lack of responsibility from both sides is shameful. I am now stuck with a faulty appliance, hours of wasted time, and zero resolution in sight. This is not how customers deserve to be treated -- especially when we trust you with our homes and hard-earned money. If you're considering buying from Lowe's or GE -- DON'T. The Pittsburg location (in a busy shopping center) was where I shopped for simple, inexpensive tools and tarps. Now, I have closer option in Brentwood which works for me. I only mark them down to 3-star as so much comes from China and is often out of stock. I also don't like fact you have to have their rewards program to get the sale price like a grocery store.

He was great and friendly and the BEST! He must have worked in the industry as a builder or contractor bc he knows what is needed in a project, answered my multitude of questions! Big B really has an asset in him working there. Unlike the big box stores, often you have to try to locate someone to help you and often you get that is not my department! So you are in good hands at Big B. And I notice many well known contractors and fencing companies buying from here. This is an ACE store and also makes keys. The only con in this store is it feels dusty and dirty. My skin just breaks into a rash bc I feel the dust and the shopping carts are filthy with layers of dust. Maybe bc they are a lumber yard and cut the wood there so it goes everywhere. They could wash the cart more often. Most people there are construction type of guys, and I didn't see any female customers come to think of it?! So men probably don't care bc they work with this on a daily basis. So the staff and lumber get 5 stars. Tip #1 you can get some cut pieces of leftover wood for free in the back. Tip #2- you bring your measurements and pictures of what you want or your project and they figure out how many you need. If I relied on my own math, we would have been in trouble! So John will help you figure out how much you need as I am sure the others working the desk can do the same thing so rely on them. Tip #3 - they are good about returns. The layout is organized and it's easy to find what you're looking for, but if you can't find something it seems an associate is always nearby to help. The cashiers are quick and efficient, and a new one shows up quickly when the line gets long so there's never a long wait. You can also order ahead and do "curbside" pickup. There is a separate building dedicated to grilling supplies and accessories. They have a large and wide selection of pellets, briquettes, wood chips and a mind-bending wall of seasonings. There is a good garden section in back with a modest selection of quality plants that you can trust.

I practically had to step IN FRONT on someone to ask for the last item I was looking for despite several folks in red vests. At checkout same cashier didn't ask for my phone number for Ace Rewards. When queried, she responded that the transaction was complete and offered a half hearted cancellation and rering. I did decline. I wish this was an anomaly but I was in this store with my son about two weeks ago to a similar response. The only competitive advantage that locally owned hardware stores have over big box stores and Amazon is service. I live in Hawaii (Oahu) and have a home in Phoenix --- Barry's Ace Hardware in Phoenix is amazing. I have already given up and defected to Home Depot in Hawaii for the same reasons as above.
