We have been there many times with wonderful food & service. We have been there when there was only ONE waitress...no host/bar tender/ or bus boy. Still no complaints. Last time was quite unusual!! The nice host seated us. There was 1 waitress, 2 busboys, 1bartender. FIVE in all. 1 busboy gave us water. For over 15 minutes the waitress walked by us "numerous times" Never making eye contact. Finally bartender waited on us. All employees stared at us? but not one waited on us. The host finally asked if we had ordered or been waited on. He took all the blame. Is this normal behavior for a waitress that depends on tips. We sure wish there was an explanation for why we were treated in such a manner. read more

The bar is usually hopping when we've been here, with friends getting together at happy hour and enjoying live music. The menu has a range of options from casual to more fancy. Shrimp and chips was a good casual choice for me. The ahi tuna salad was also a hit, and chicken medallions with mushroom sauce was also well received. We keep giving Adelina's second and third chances, but they continue to disappoint. After four disastrous pizzas, tonight we ordered two Ahi salads to go. At home we opened the container with the Ahi and instantly knew something was wrong. The Ahi had a strong fishy smell. Clearly it was not fresh. The texture was very grainy. It is such a shame to have a restaurant just up the street that's so bad. We have to drive 6-10 miles to find decent food. read more

After our round of golf at Monarch Dunes, we enjoyed our dinner at Adelina's so much that we went there again the following evening! It was all possible due to Jennifer! She accommodated all eight of us for both evenings by seating us in either a private room or in a private location. The entire team was warm, efficient, and clearly dedicated to providing a great experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers! Went here for Valentine's Day dinner and had a great time. The food was perfect. My chicken was tender and flawless. I don't rave about green beans but mine were the best I've had in forever. We had chocolate covered spomoni for desert and I could have licked the plate. The bill wasn't too bad either being half the price of what we spent at Beso last year! This was my second time going to this restaurant, and the first time our waitress barely took our order and never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything to drink or anything. I was told to give it another try. I took my Mom today for a Mother's Day lunch. Well my luck, and we got the same waitress, her name is Emily. My advise if you get her ask for someone else. Again she took our order and never came back to our table to check on us. After 45 minutes I went to the Manager and asked her if she could get us some water and check on our food. Only then did Emily start to check on us and help us. Horrible service. I shouldn't of tipped, but that isn't my style. She needs to learn to pay more attention to All clients, and check on them. Went here today for brunch. We got seated and no one came over to help us I had to stop a waitress to take our order. Took forever to get our coffee. When food came out my eggs were very slimy but couldn't get new ones because she never came back to check on us. We haven't been here in sometime and decided to try it as we were passing by. I had a old-fashioned drink and it was great. I decided to try the salmon Wellington. Very different. You get quite a bit of salmon in a pastry puff with spinach. You get vegetables on the side and I picked a baked potato as another side. My husband had the sautéed seafood pasta. Said it was very good had scallops, shrimp, etc. We also asked for rolls and it was sourdough and excellent. We both had leftovers which is nice. Our server was Jacob and the girl that sat us was extremely friendly. They kept our water glasses filled as we were pretty thirsty. read more

Had lunch there today. Debating as to two or three stars. The view is *great.* The food was certainly good. The service overall, not very good. Cordial, but definitely left something "to be desired." The next few years were definitely worse. The menu shrunk ...then Covid...then a reopening with an even smaller menu, higher prices and an understaffed service corps. New management arrived in 2022 with promises of better choices and more non-meat options. We finally saw signs of improvement in March 2023 and the last 2 visits near the end of April confirmed our optimism. Since family was visiting for a few days, we had dinner on a Saturday night followed by breakfast from the adjacent Marketplace on Sunday (but the food is brought to your table in Adelina's). Both were fine. The 5 of us had the following for dinner: - 2 Bistro Side Salads ($8 each): Good size and taste for the price - Ahi Poke Nachos ($18): A highlight. Very fresh. Substantial. "No tendons". - Jumbo Prawn Cocktail ($16): 7 Good size prawns. Tasty, but slightly slimy. - 2 Sautéed Seafood Pasta with Marinara Sauce ($31): Excellent but could have used some shellfish - Sesame Brussel Sprouts ($12): Fine as usual - Swordfish ($35): A good size piece of fish. Not quite hot enough, but tasty. - Pepperoni Pizza ($18): "An 8 out of 10". Included the extra basil requested. Two of us started with cocktails: - Martini with Grey Goose Vodka ($18.50): Fine - Gin and Tonic with Bombay Gin ($11): Small with lots of ice We shared a bottle of Tolosa Sauvignon Blanc ($36) which paired well with the variety of dishes. The bill was $242.50 before tax, tip and a 10% discount for being a resident of the Trilogy development. The main room in Adelina's was refurbished and is brighter and lighter than before, but there are no tables for 5 or more people anywhere near the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the expansive view of the golf course. So were were resigned to a booth near the bar which is a bit claustrophobic. Service from Jazmine was great. She was very friendly, patient and always available to fulfill a request. A quick note on breakfast. The menu at the Marketplace was also expanded with a good selection of items for a morning meal (and at lunch for that matter). Seating is either near the counter (limited)...outside on 2 patios (very nice when the weather cooperates) or in Adelina's during breakfast. read more

Giving a three star review because the server was very nice. Otherwise, the experience was mediocre. Sat near the window and the sun was setting so it was blindingly bright in my eyes. Was told the shade were broken so they could not be brought down. After sitting for ten minutes, asked to be moved and the wait staff was very obliging. Unfortunately, it wasn't far enough back and the sun reached me after five minutes. Had to sit sideways until my meal was delivered. At 6:15, the shades suddenly came down and it was fine, so I'm assuming they were on a timer that no one was able to adjust. We came primarily for the prix fixe meal and unfortunately the highlight of it was the five layer chocolate cake, which I'm not sure is made in house. The scallops were in a thin white sauce that was sweet with no flavor. The rice pilaf was fine but nothing memorable. One person had the salmon Wellington, which was bland. She took it apart and saw the spinach but mushrooms were not apparent. Overall it was disappointing. Will stick to breakfast and lunch but will not be returning for dinner since there are other options locally that are tastier for the price. read more

However, as good as the Brussel sprouts were, the real winner is the Poke Nachos (FYI: There's no cheese)! Fresh flavorful, marinated tuna chunks on top of crispy light wonton skins, sprinkled with bits of sweet mango which balanced the sprinkle of microgreens. There was even a drizzle of wasabi mayo to give this dish a hint of an Asian kick with a faint resemblance to "the melted cheese" part of the nacho. They need heart healthy options there is nothing on the menu for people with heart disease- the number 1 killer and most common illness in America. Other special diets don't have such critical relevance and other specialties have generous degree of flexibility-- but this place hardly has a garden salad and even then it oily fatty dressings.
