Ok so here it goes I gave this company 115$ to change my iPhone 6s glass and the touchscreen area! The phone was never the same it became a garbage Phone the ear piece gets hot when in use and touch screen activates when I'm on the phone! So today after couple months i got a new iPhone and while i was on the phone I was told that the problem may be from bad Instalation or bad parts installed on the phone !! So I asked My representative how much will they change to fix it ? He said the same job would had costed me125$ when my iPhone glass broke had I been smart enough to take it to the apple so I asked them how much to fix it now ? He said he would not work on an iPhone that was fixed not by the apple company! Basically my phone is trashed now !! This was my second service from Cell Phone Factory & Repair (CPF). The level of technical service & repair that I received was exceptional. The Technician began to show me the cause of the problem and outlined my options for repair. I left my phone on a Friday late in the morning and I knew that I was going to be without my phone for the weekend. I appreciate the Technician's honesty in not promising me the phone a day or two earlier as I have owned a cell phone for longer than I want to say here - LA Cellular anyone? You know what I mean. So I knew that CFR needed time to make sure that my phone was correctly repaired. My phone was assessed for a cracked LED screen, cracked rear cover, pen stuck inside the phone causing issues for the phone, and I needed a wallet cover (I drop the phone more than I want to admit here, and having had a wallet cover in the past I knew it was the best protection for my phone). I picked up my phone 3 days later and I have to say that the phone looks new, yet it is 4 years old. Actually, now is the perfect time for me to trade it in for whatever value is left on the phone. I will continue to support this business as they are honest and skilled in the repair/sales business of phones. I took it back as I was told there was a lifetime warranty (as printed on my receipt). Sadly, it was NOT honored. I broke my iPhone screen less than 3 months ago. The other place did a decent job but the quality of screen didn't last long. Cracked again. Thought I'd try another place and Julian's was located conveniently. Nice little one man shop, nothing pretentious about it. The price was higher than other places at around $90. I was a bit shocked at first and didn't have many choices, though he assured me this was because he upgraded the LCDs. Fair enough considering my cheaper one lasted a really short period. He was really quick! But then my home button was having issues. No longer reading my thumb. He had his hunches but we couldn't figure it out quickly because we both were strapped for time. I went home and did a simple restart and it seemed to work fine for a week, then it stopped working again. I went back and he took it right there and said he'd get right to it. 5 min later, all resolved. He wasn't annoyed, he wanted it done right. You can tell he really cares about his business. Very respectable. To me, a true sign of one's care is when a customer comes back for a secondary issue. The fact that he didn't shoo me away and wanted it all fixed for good was so refreshing. Went here with a cracked screen. My phone itself worked great, but the little crack in the corner bothered me. After leaving the store I noticed that my Iphone no longer recognized my face. So I went back and they "fixed it". Phone still didn't recognize my face and now I had even more issues with it working properly. They wouldn't fix the problem they caused and also wouldn't refund me. Had to buy a new iPhone. Super disappointing! read more
