First time coming here for lunch! Pizza we got was really really good! The wings so so, they need to be crispy and fresher! Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu!

We got our pizza to go today. I ordered the Donfather and my wife got a gluten free build your own. We both enjoyed our crusts. Mine has a great exterior crunch while still being chewy. It's hard to find a good gluten free crust, but this one this the spot today. Toppings were generous and they give a little bit of honey for dipping which was nice. The people working the counter were courteous and the restaurant seemed clean. It was cool that you can see them stoking the fires with wood. Nice setup

Yes it's pricier than 'Domino's' because this is authentic made from scratch Pizza. Each pizza is the same size offering six slices But you're certainly not going to find my gluten-free lomo saltado style pizza at the cheap pizza places. Outstanding

I love thin crust pizza so this place is definitely for me. It's always busy but somehow the staff manages to be extremely welcoming and friendly. I love the simplicity of a margherita pizza but everything else we have tried has been equally tasty. The buffalo wings are delicious!

First time at Pizza 900. We went we family for my birthday. We had a great time. It's a casual restaurant but has pretty good size inside with a complementary outside covered patio. Super friendly service. Most importantly, the food is amazing! I had #11 vegan version, Gardina Verde. Others ordered, Cheese Pizza, Margherita, Americano, Greek Salad and Caesar Salad. Everyone finished their food and shared. We'll definitely be coming back soon! I forgot to take pictures, until next time.

This has long been on my list of pizza places to check out; unfortunately, we'd stop in on a Sunday (when they're closed) or prior to their business hours. Returning home from a place that closed early, we made a spontaneous decision to have pizza on Christmas Eve (thanks to Yelp's list of nearby places); we headed there without studying their extensive menu. In my haste ordering online, I'd apparently made an error in ordering. While I was quite willing to accept what I'd ordered as is, the impressively kind (my thoughts) "holiday crew" was very pleasant, patient, and helpful assisting me in placing my order as I'd intended. It must be attributed to their 900+-degree oven that our pizza was ready in a matter of a few minutes! I enjoyed the soft, pliable crust (although hubby didn't agree) and the flavorful toppings. Ordering a large pizza with half & half (wanting to experience 2 styles), #13 My Buddy Linda (regularly $21.99) and #11 Gardina Verde ($20.99) on gluten-free crust (+ $4.50), I was unprepared at the final bill of $39.86. It was explained to me that one is charged the full price for one of the selected pizza options PLUS the reduced price for the other half (plus, understandably, the extra cost for gluten-free crust). Paying by card was easy & convenient; however, I'd signed prior to seeing an option to enter a tip amount (and regretfully didn't have cash on me); please know it was unintentional; I extend my sincere apologies, as I greatly appreciated all of you present that day. I like that one may request customizations of their sauces, cheeses, meats, veggies, and finishing touches -- including doneness. Nice seating options inside and outside. Eager to experience more of their menu items.

Love, love, LOVEEE this place! We feel so fortunate to have this pizza spot nearby. The pizza is consistently delicious, and the flavors never disappoint. Our absolute favorite is the Maui laui. We've also tried the Donfather, which was really good, and the Thai pizza ...not our personal favorite, but that's more because fusion-style pizzas just aren't really our thing. Overall, this place delivers great flavor, great service, and a really enjoyable dining experience. When we ate there, a gentleman came around to check on everyone and make sure we were doing well, which we really appreciated. There's also plenty of seating, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. We did try the wings and they weren't really for us, but honestly, the pizza more than makes up for it :)

Well, it's been five stars consistently quite sometime now. Just look at the pictures, the photos speak for themselves, retake our friends and family year now when they visit us ! Basically, the food is delicious Service is excellent.

First off, being greeted, and treated respectfully is something a lot of establishments lack. My wife and I came back from Rome last month. And let me tell you, THIS PLACE, correction this Pizzeria is absolutely special, it's on point. If I'm lying I'm flying! Amazing Margherita pizza! The Donfather! Wow! Outside seating area was also clean and really nice! Thank you for having Iced Tea! Being someone who drinks unsweet ice tea everyday, I would like to say the ice tea was the best in 50 miles easily. Thank you for the amazing food and hospitality, will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Good pizza not bad at all. Price for a personal pizza is high compared to a Large anywhere else. Has flavor, you can tell the veggies are fresh. Service & vibe was good.

This time I came prepared- I ate nothing today before I came. My #8 Grande Edo Siciliana with fresh jalapeños rocked my world once again and as it was the only thing I ate today - it dramatically increased the quality of my life (at least for tonight ). And once again their excellent staff took great care of me.

Turned my bad day into a good one. Who thought a simple pizza could do such wonders. This may be one of the top 3 pizza's I've had, you can tell they really put time into their craft and ingredients here. Long story short, had a horrible experience at another restaurant in another town. Came to Lake Forest to visit someone and decided to stop by Pizza 900 and give it a shot. I have gluten intolerance and got a simple gluten free pepperoni, but margarita style. If I had to sum up the pizza in one word, it would be "damn". And by damn, I mean damn good. I walked in in a bad mood, not too hungry, and I ended up eating the whole damn pizza and walked out happy and probably a pound fatter, but in a good way. Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it because you're putting smiles on faces and filling bellies with good food. Thanks for the great experience and turning a bad day into a good one.

Ask the Community - Pizza 900 Wood fired Pizzeria

What's the difference between "well done" and "crispy" crust?

Well done is more chatting on and around the pizza more traditional. Crispy is recommended for Togo orders.

Do you have any halal options?

Hi the chicken thigh that we use is halal. It comes standard on the salads. You would have to request it on the pizzas

Are you guys open today (LABOR DAY)?

    No sorry

Is the taco 900 next to it open or closed because I hear its good?

Hi it’s primarily setup for takeout and delivery but if you are dining at pizza 900 you can pull up the taco menu and order something’s off the menu. Enjoy it. It’s really good

    Can you make pasta?

No you personally can not make pasta at this restaurant. They have wonderful pizza

On Mondays lunch, how much is the wait time for sit down option for parry of five? Do we need call to book the table?

Hi I would recommend you reserve a table since we only have 6 tables in our outdoor patio deck.

What are your vegan options ? Cheese, meats? Etc. thank you

Hi our dough and red sauce is vegan. We do offer vegan cheese by daiya for an additional charge. No vegan meats currently.

    Do you deliver?

Yes we do local delivery 10 mile radius during COVID-19 with $25 min order and it’s free delivery

I just found out that I have 155 reward points, what does that equate to, and how/what can I use then on?

Hi you get 5 cents for every point so you have a little over $7.50 to use towards your next order when you come in give the crew your phone number that is linked to the rewards and they will take it off the bill.

    Gluten free fresh dough?

Yep. So good. $3 up charge for gluten free. Really good salads, too!

    Is it dog friendly?

Although we don’t have an exclusive outside patio we welcome your furry family member in our side room

    Do they sell slices?

No, they do not sell slices. They sell 2 sizes of personal pizzas, small and regular.

    Is there outside seating?

    No

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

We arrived midday on a Sunday and we're promptly sat, having been given the option for patio or indoor. We chose the patio, and between the clematis, lantana, and olive trees it is a very lovely setting in which to enjoy a meal. We were promptly brought a bottle of cold water and glasses, and our beverage orders were taken. I had a honey lavender latte with oat milk, and my husband had Lebanese coffee (no milk no sugar.) my latte was fragrant, the perfect temperature, and just the right amount of sweet. The Lebanese coffee was smooth, floral without being perfume, and excellent. We started with the falafel and the batata harra. Both absolutely excellent. For our entrees we selected the shakshuka and the Lebanese egg pie. Both were also excellent. Everything was well cooked, well presented, flavorful without being overwhelmed by any component. We took home a baklava tart, because we simply did not have the ability to eat more at the table. It was tender, moist, not too sweet, the pistachio flavor coming through as nutty and grassy, seriously so good! And it's worth noting, this whole restaurant is gluten free. I would not have realised if I had not known ahead of time. The texture of the pita with the shakshuka was exactly what one would expect, as was the bread of the egg pie. The pastry of the tart was flakey and delicious. And having said all of that, the service is what puts it above and beyond. Everyone was warm and pleasant, and seemed to genuinely appreciate the compliments. Staff seemed like they liked their jobs, which for me is always a good sign.

Not living in LA means YELP is our go to especially since we must find a place that offers gluten free options for the little. I came across this place on the yelp search and it claimed 100 percent gluten free and for that I was intrigued and extremely thankful. This location was in Beverly Hills, parking was easy(we found street, metered parking) not a lot of traffic for it being a Saturday morning but we were new to that area so I cant say what the norm is. When we walked in the bakery was busy with happy customers, amd we were immediately greeted by a couple of the most genuinely nice people of whom I assume are the owners (sorry I forgot to ask). Usually when walking into a bakery that has gluten free options my daughter always looks to me.to see what she can have and from that she willl make a couple or selections, all of which is extremely limited. This time I was able to tell her she could choose anything. Thw way her eyes lit up when she saw the glazed donut, it makes a mom heart want to cry when she gets to experience something so normal as a glazed donut but in this case a glazed donut on a whole other culinary level( so amazingly delicious). She told the gluten free genius helping her that she had never had a glazed donut and he packaged it up on the house. Hannah then proceeded to order as many things from the case as I would allow for the moment. She just wanted to try all the things she had never been able to before. I did have to promise we would be back to buy more the next time we come to LA. She settled on most of the sweets although this bakery has bagels and sourdough bread. Shes not much of a bread eater in general unless its smothered with Nutella so next time we will try the breads. So back to the experience, we sat down and she tried a bite or 2 of everything and LOVED IT ALL!! The glazed donut met all of her expectations and blew her mind. Coming in to second place was the Oreo babka and the croissant. Before leaving Hannah went to thank them and tell them she loved it, she was then given a second item to try(the chocolate croissant). We took it to go and she tried it in the car on the way to the Getty, she was in pure food bliss. Thank you for creating a bakery for the adults and the littles that is safe and delicious. But most importantly thank you for treating my daughter with the utmost respect and genuine kindness you dont find just anywhere. We WILL be back soon. Hannah rates service and sweets, 1 million stars!
