Disclaimer: absolutely horrible neighborhood. Came here based on the reviews. As I sit here looking at the menu, I see that the health code is not very good. A "c" is not normally where I would eat. I am going to overlook this minor detail and order some food. Not much seating in the front, and when I entered they asked me if I wanted to sit on the back patio. I took them up on it. Broken keys. I have to walk through a door and walk through the kitchen to get to the back patio. It is a covered. It wood gazebo. The top is covered with a tarp which is a plus if it is raining. Also, there are heaters. But today is a beautiful day. There are four four top tables. It is a Friday evening and the place is empty back here. So it's perfect for me. That's ordered a supreme pizza medium size. The pizza comes in three sizes. Medium is a 16 inch and then they have a meter long pizza. A medium supreme pizza is $30. The waitress never asked if we wanted anything to drink. She just brought us water. Either the water or the ice has a very odd taste to it. The bathroom is in the very back of the restaurant between the patio and the kitchen. Very small. Clean but the waste basket is super small and it is overflowing. The supreme pizza has a lot of veggies. But I have one piece of pepperoni on my entire slice. Another slice has one pepperoni and one meatball. Seems like they could certainly use more meat on this supreme pizza. The pizza is woodfired. The pizza has really good flavor. And was cooked all the way through. Again, my only concern is that it was more of a vegetable pizza than a supreme with it lacking meat. The pizza had a good flavor not too much sauce. Lots of veggies. I would come here again if I was in the area. However, I would not go out of my way to come back. read more

Dined here today for the first time in awhile, although we have picked up pizza to go. We ordered the meat lovers and a dozen of the buffalo wings. We received complimentary bread also, I forgot the name of the topping I think it was similar to bruschetta or maybe that is what it was called ‍ idk but it was delicious. This pie was breathtaking and the sexiest thing I'd seen all day My friend who has a gluten allergy ordered the margarita pizza and of course did not have high hopes as so many places have not mastered gluten free dishes. Now mind you she is a picky eater and she said that the pizza was the BEST gluten free pizza she has ever had!!!! Now keep in mind this establishment is still growing and you can tell they've put a lot of love into the place. The venue is small so if you're a big party I'd suggest calling ahead so they can prep for you. They have a great patio and it's so cute with fresh plants and lights. I ordered a margarita pizza. And just to be sure, I did Google images for Margherita pizza. This one did not look like any of them or any that I have ever ordered. It looked like a regular pizza with fresh basil on top. No big pieces of fresh mozzarella. Just what looks like every day grated mozzarella. Also overpriced. I will not go back. This little hole-in-the-wall gem was recommended to me by a friend and it didn't disappoint. It's located in a small strip complex just east of the 17 on Thomas Rd. It doesn't look look much from the outside but you're greeted with love and the smell of good brick oven pizza when you walk in. The brick oven can be seen from the indoor dinning area and there is additional patio seating at the back of the building; you take a cool little tour through the kitchen to get there. Unfortunately, I didn't get the servers name but her customer service exceeded all expectations. She has an authentic Italian accent. The place appears to be family owned and operated. I don't eat pork or beef so I got the vegetarian pizza. It was really good, not the best I've had in the valley but definitely the best in the central phoenix area it's located. We ordered wings, meat lovers pizza and chicken marsala. The wings were meaty, cooked just right and had the right amount of sauce. The pizza was excellent, only high quality meats and I can't stop raving about the chicken marsala. The pasta was not overcooked, the chicken seasoned perfectly and as well as the sauce. I can't believe I've lived so close to this hidden gem for years. I tried it out last night and happened to be with a group of 12 people and we loved our experience. Our server was so friendly and welcoming. We started off with an authentic Italian dish that was complimentary and it was delicious. The patio is really peaceful with space heaters for the colder weather. They had entire coloring books and boxes of crayons for the kids. All of the food was amazing, especially the pizza! What a great experience!!! We had Pizza A Metro cater our son's graduation party! Working with Margarita was so easy! I picked 3 items from their menu..Penne Pomodoro, Fettuccine Primavera and Salmon Picatta and told her how many guests were invited! Margarita sent me a quote with the amounts of food we would need. When I tell you the woman knows what she is doing, I'm not joking around! I first thought it wasn't going to be enough food, but Margarita took the time to explain the portion size and she was spot on! Now let's get to the good part, the food!!! Everyone at the party raved about it! They wanted to know where we catered from! My nephew who is not a Salmon eater in particular, loved the Salmon! No leftovers were had with that dish!!! I did have some leftovers with the other two dishes and that was a bonus since it was so good! Also their delicious bread came with our order, and they gave us a lot!!! They use their pizza dough to make the bread so it's flat and not over filling! Perfect addition to the meal! I would highly recommend catering from them! In fact my SIL who lives in Scottsdale mentioned using them for a party she's having in the fall! This is a gem of a restaurant in a small obscure strip mall! My husband and I were not in our local area today but wanted to grab lunch close by. We are so glad we found Pizza A Metro! Very small restaurant but the back patio was perfect. There were a few parties there but spaced enough to not feel crowded. The service was excellent & so friendly. We had pizza and even ordered one to go for the kids when we got home. Btw, it warmed up amazingly in the oven- preheated our pizza stone and then add the slices. This ensures it's as crispy perfect as it was the first time!
