Pizza Amore Cafe was a quick stop, hoping we wouldn't be disappointed--and WOW, this place did not disappoint! The restaurant is so cozy and beautifully decorated, making it such a cute and inviting spot. We tried the Meat Lovers Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend giving it a try. The staff was amazing, and the guys in the kitchen were so attentive, respectful, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers and the experience they provide. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu! Must try! And honestly, it's also such a cute spot for a date! read more

This was a pleasant surprise during our road trip. First and foremost, the place itself is incredibly welcoming and feels like a cafe or a library, it was really cool to be in there. We loved the pizza we shared and were taken aback by the richness of the flavors we were experiencing. The only two things I was meh about: 1. we bought fountain drinks, but we were not told that more than half of the sodas were not working. had I known I would have happily settled for water. 2. got one of my kids the personal pan pizza. She didn't like it, I thought she was being difficult. I took a bite and yeah, it wasn't all that great. It seemed like the top cooked perfectly but the salami was still cold inside. This place is warm, cozy, and welcoming! The decor is was beautiful with lights, a fireplace, and bookcases with encyclopedias which gave it a nice touch. The food was delicious and everything was made fresh and from scratch. The owner Nima was kind and made sure we felt at home. Just discovered Pizza Amore in San Juan Capistrano this past weekend. This little cafe is adorable. When we walked in there was a gentleman playing the banjo which added to this fun atmosphere. We were lucky enough to be able to sit inside. We ordered some Garlic Cheese Bread, which comes with a side of sauce which pleased my husband. I ordered the personal vegetable pizza and my husband ordered the personal pepperoni pizza. All our food was outstanding. We meet the owner, who is a nice man. So much fun here -- we love the ambiance! We picked up pizza and lasagna for our Christmas Eve dinner. They went above and beyond by giving us an extra pizza since the one we ordered was fully cooked. tl;dr crust is good, the goto place for this reviewer that's lived here for 10 years. I've lived in the area for 10 years, and this place is my go-to pizza spot since I found sometime after COVID. No shortage of decent pizza places around, but this one won me over with their crust. It's just got this uniquely crisp crunch that no other place can match. I always order my pie to go, so I can't speak to eating there first hand. But the inside seems nice when I've come to pick up my pizza. They have this rich-person's mansion's-study vibe (imagine where the board game Clue would take place). You can read any of the books they have on the shelves there, which I sometimes do if I need to wait for a minute to pick up my pizza. They've also strung up some warm string lighting on the ceiling so I bet it could seem a bit romantic. Were I young person that went to high school in the area I might bring a date here for something that feels semi-casual, semi-dark-and-romantic. read more
